We were in Rivisondoli and last night we had dinner at the Osteria del Tarassaco. The osteria is small but welcoming and, even considering the decor, it looks like a typical local osteria. We were actually very warmly welcomed, but between unsolicited wine and cheese tastings and modestly sized dishes (a fried artichoke, two first courses, a second course, and two desserts), we paid an excessive amount. For drinks, we consumed an unsolicited glass of white wine, a half-glass of rosé, and a small bottle of still water. We then had the honor of tasting small pieces of cheese that seemed kindly offered. Ultimately, what seemed like an osteria-style welcome turned out to be the "friendly" welcome of a nearly Michelin-starred restaurant where even the air is charged. Finally, the receipt listed all partial costs with the specification "tasting menu." At least remove the name Osteria!!!

A lovely discovery...kindness, friendliness and good food....

We had lunch here last Sunday for my wife's birthday. Mr. Fabio was very hospitable and attentive to our children's needs. We ate wonderfully, with interesting pairings and quality ingredients, and tried some excellent wines. A truly pleasant experience, highly recommended.

A positive experience, with excellent homemade cheeses and delicious bread served with a variety of oils. The owner and staff were friendly and courteous. We highly recommend trying it.

An osteria with a host who offers you a journey through local products, wines, and oils. An experience not to be missed if you're in the area. But it's worth the trip when you're feeling nostalgic.

A dinner with a difference. We wandered in by chance, unfamiliar with the unique character of this place, and what was supposed to be a classic dinner turned into a pleasant experience, tasting wine and olive oil paired with thoughtfully prepared dishes. The owner's company and passion are definitely a plus. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're expecting to know how much you'll pay.
