16/11/2025: Have you ever had the chance to taste refined dishes like a work of art served in an art gallery? At Ettore you can experience all this and if you like some work of art you can also buy it, at Ettore it's all an experience, a small but welcoming place the presentation of the dishes is worthy of a starred restaurant, in short I could continue with the adjectives but it would be useless the only thing to do is go there and live the experience!!! ! !.......... and I forgot and the bill is absolutely honest!!! ! 21/11/2025: There were six of us for lunch. Delicious, handmade fregnacce, scamorza and prosciutto, lamb—all delicious. Reasonable prices.

20/10/2025: An excellent restaurant. The fregnacce are exquisite and inimitable. All the dishes are very good. Time-honored tradition with quality local products. Special desserts. The DOP L'Aquila saffron cake is not to be missed. Everyone is kind, like true Abruzzese people.

02/10/2025: Very nice place; we went for lunch on a weekday. Unfortunately, the service was very slow because, from what we saw, the woman was alone. She was super nice, but we waited over an hour for a plate of overcooked pasta. The platter was a bit sparse; there were more pickles than cured meats and cheeses. I honestly can't recommend it highly enough. It's a shame because the place is very good.

22/09/2025: What can I say...a magical, historic, and stunning place. We've been there several times, even with friends. I booked lunch here after reading some ridiculous, less-than-favorable reviews, which made me laugh, especially the owner's responses. I think you have to try it for yourself, and in fact, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food just as much. The staff was fun and fast, and the dishes were unique and very good. I always recommend Taberna when I hear from friends who go to Calascio. Congratulations!

19/08/2025: The amatriciana with egg pasta and (mind you) onions was excellent. The service, though friendly and welcoming, was slow. At lunch on the veranda, we were scorching hot. Perfect bill.

03/11/2025: We loved the service and the food. What was supposed to be a lucky dinner (because it was November 1st and we couldn't find anything open except this restaurant) turned out to be a wonderful experience. The owner, a very nice gentleman, added the icing on the cake to this evening :) We recommend the tonnarelli with broad beans, pecorino cheese, and guanciale!

26/10/2025: It's located just off the highway toll booth. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of tables, and the ambiance is a bit dated, but everything is well-kept. The owner is very kind and friendly, and the menu is listed verbally, with a word to each table. The service and food are quick. We ordered: orecchiette, broccoli, and pancetta, which were delicious and plentiful, the house red wine was good, and finally, good value for money.

03/09/2025: One of the best restaurants in Cavallino. We come every year. You can also dine in the restaurant when you're not staying at the campsite. There's ample parking.

25/08/2025: What can I say? Brigante Maino is a small restaurant that truly embraces local traditions and makes you feel pampered with its simplicity... not to mention the menu. The service is impeccable, thanks to Valentina. I recommend it to everyone.

16/08/2025: I've been to this restaurant and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the dishes: very good, well-cooked, and carefully presented. Truly a pleasure both to the palate and to the eye. It's a shame about the location: the entrance is truly beautiful and suggests an elegant experience, but once you enter the dining room, the atmosphere changes. The space is very clean, but a bit too dull and lacking in value compared to the expectations you create upon entering. With a more minimalist and refined style, certainly in keeping with the beautiful entrance, the restaurant would be a cut above. In conclusion, the cuisine is excellent and the service is good, but the dining room deserves a makeover to make the experience truly complete.

13/11/2025: The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, the food is very good, and the staff is friendly and helpful (the lady who welcomed and served us was very kind). The only thing I would recommend adding is the option to consult the menu (there isn't one, and the lady lists the available dishes verbally) to make choosing easier. Regarding the price, there were three of us and we paid about €35-€36 each (water, a liter of wine, three first courses, three second courses, three side dishes, two desserts, and three coffees).
