17/07/2024: Together with a group of about twenty people, I only used the restaurant service. Excellent quality food, even for gluten free: the pizza s.g. good, nice crust, digestible👍 The service, which is not very friendly, needs improvement: even if the place is full of people, the customer must always be served with a smile and friendliness!

21/08/2024: We had lunch in this restaurant on August 15th, we were fully satisfied both by the excellent quality of the food (the pappardelle with duck sauce with truffle, the veal knot and the platter of cold cuts and cheeses are highly recommended) and by the service received. Prices are slightly above average.

26/05/2024: We stopped on our way back to Rome and decided to grab a quick bite to eat. The place is close to the highway so convenient. Simple, quiet and clean environment. The owner let us choose the table. I ate an appetizer of vegetables and cheeses, strengthened on their initiative, but still very welcome, with a fried egg and a tomato bruschetta. My husband and my son chose pizza. Both very good, especially the dough and well seasoned. We had a good time and will definitely return often. The low price.

24/08/2024: Frequentiamo questo locale da ormai 8 anni e ogni volta è una garanzia: ambiente accogliente, personale cortese e veloce, cucina di alta qualità e soprattutto, prezzi veramente bassi! I menù primo e braceria ti danno l'occasione di assaggiare vari piatti della loro cucina che, ripeto, sono veramente ottimi! In estate l'ambiente esterno è molto carino e spazioso. Il loro piatto di battaglia è cinghiale e funghi porcini. Assolutamente raccomandato!

28/07/2024: I had lunch today in this restaurant with my family. Clean and welcoming place. The waiters are efficient and prepared. Rich and truly high-quality fish starter, exceptional scampi cream risotto. To finish, a nice dry and crunchy fry. Really all very good. I advise.

20/07/2024: We ate in this restaurant and I must say that I found everything very good.... It's been a long time since I ate such good spaghetti with clams, the fresh and crunchy frying, the fast and impeccable service, the very reasonable price.. in short, I highly recommend it.

15/08/2024: It's not that great! I was there on 08/14/24 for lunch with my family and we ate badly. The owner is a brilliant person but the cuisine needs to be completely revised, there are no basics. The shrimp chitarrina with a very liquid sauce that is completely tasteless. The waitress was very courteous and kind.

15/08/2024: Located in the village of Stiffe. Excellent dishes and home cooking. Worth noting is the excellent mixed grill and the baked trout. Genuine and local dishes. Very nice and friendly host.

02/08/2024: ATTENTION ASK FOR PRICES FIRST!! We had dinner last night at the Vecchia tavern. We were greeted by a very kind lady, who then also served us dinner, appearing helpful and polite. The lady warned us that the menu was verbal (without including the prices in the list) but I still requested to have a paper menu even though the prices, according to the lady, were not up to date. Be careful, because the prices written on the "not updated" menu are very different from those on the final bill. We spent 70 euros for 2 portions of lasagna marked 6.50 euros each 1 plate of baked potatoes marked 2.50 2 meat dishes marked 10 euros each Water 2 euros, a quarter of wine, a small ice cream which we shared. The food was good, very basic, but I felt cheated, also because the prices are not even detailed on the final bill. Don't do like us, don't trust and ask for prices first, it's the trader's duty to display the prices.

27/08/2024: Excellent food but staff not suited to doing this job. Customers should also be pampered at the end of the dinner... when you go to pay, we ask for coffee and bitters... In my opinion they should be offered and not added to the bill!!! A little tact is enough to please the customer so that he comes back with pleasure. Two bitters and a coffee do not enrich a restaurant but make the end of the evening more pleasant for customers.

14/07/2024: Abbiamo soggiornato in questo delizioso B&B per visitare Scanno e il suo lago. Siamo stati piacevolmente stupiti dalla posizione strategica rispetto al centro storico (la struttura si affaccia sulla piazza principale) e rispetto ai sentieri che conducono al lago. Palazzo del 700 con affreschi, mobili e suppellettili d’epoca. Curatissimo nei particolari e nella pulizia. Cordialità e gentilezza del proprietari e cucina del territorio veramente eccezionale. Torneremo con piacere

09/06/2024: Mrs. Alessandra made us love her land, Scanno which perched on the Apennines offers splendid landscapes. The b/b is located in the center and has private parking a few meters away, the rooms are welcoming and particular considering the historic building. Excellent breakfast with homemade cakes and cleanliness. Thank you Alessandra, always kind, helpful and compliments, it was a pleasure to meet you and be your guests. 25/08/2024: Purtroppo devo segnalare e dare questo brutto voto in quanto abbiamo mangiato veramente male , ci si aspettava molto di più data la località dov'è presente oltretutto piena di turisti . L'odore all'arrivo del mio piatto non era gradevole , e sicuramente prima di sentirlo noi, il cuoco e il cameriere potevano fare maggiore attenzione. Tutti possiamo migliorare e ve lo auguriamo per il futuro
