27/04/2026: Friendly staff, clean and tidy place, including the restrooms. I enjoyed a large cream puff. I emphasize large because there aren't any that size in the city. With one large one, you can make two puffs!!! I recommend this bar-pastry shop for anyone visiting Celano.

11/07/2026: The menu doesn't list the €3 cover charge or the €2 cost for (microfiltered) water. You call and they say they also do gluten-free, but then they only have one type of pasta (pennette) and no bread. Otherwise, the food is good and well-prepared, but for the prices quoted, it's not enough.
10/07/2026: The place is nice, but the portions are ridiculous for the price. We went for lunch, 16 euros for about 40 grams of pasta. I'm not arguing with the quality, but it's time to adjust. We're talking about a small town restaurant... you expect a decent plate of pasta, I left hungry. A tiramisu that wasn't tiramisu, for 8 euros!!! 56 euros for two and not to eat a damn thing.

The owner is a delightful person who creates a convivial atmosphere that makes you feel at home; he'd stay and chat for hours.

27/04/2026: Discovered by chance on our way back from vacation, the food is excellent and they're always available with tips and suggestions on the wonders of Abruzzo. A great place to eat well.
27/02/2026: Some say: come on, eat piadina in Abruzzo!! But no, come and eat this piadina because it's made to order, rolled out, cooked, and filled on the spot, and you can taste it right away. Tasty and fragrant, very light and thin. Good, good, good. Very friendly husband and wife team, reasonable prices, and in a convenient location in Castel di Sangro. It's definitely worth coming here to alternate with the usual restaurants and typical local trattorias (all good, mind you) 🤩 Piadina and drink for less than €10 per person. Enjoy your meal!

10/07/2026: Can you forget the salt in the pasta cooking water? Yes. Intolerable. We should have sent the first courses back, because you can't make such a sacrifice just to swallow a plate of pasta. Sorry.

15/05/2026: Breakfast wasn't fresh—cornet coffee or juice from a carton. The dinner consisted of canned pasta or an overcooked substance resembling meat and baked potatoes. Basically, I was left without dinner or breakfast. There's no refrigerator in the room, and the Wi-Fi doesn't reach the room. The placement of outlets for charging devices is also a bit of a bummer. On the plus side, there are tables outside with a terrace.
08/02/2026: An exceptional seafood lunch, the best seafood restaurant in the area... Everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. I opted for a first course of gnocchi, clams, scampi, and fresh truffle. They were exceptional. I'll definitely be back. Congratulations to everyone 👏🏻.
The quality/price ratio exceeded expectations.

26/04/2026: We spent three truly wonderful days. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The food was excellent, with superb mixed appetizers using their own produce. The barbecue was excellent. The owners were kind and helpful.
We felt right at home. The location is strategic and convenient for getting around.
The property was excellent value, we recommend it to anyone passing through.

20/02/2026: We ate there for both lunch and dinner during our entire stay in Sulmona. It was immediately clear that this was the place to be. Excellent cuisine. Fresh products and traditional flavors. Their food is homemade. We really enjoyed our stay. A welcoming place with an old stone fireplace. The kids loved all the dishes, with their intense flavors and rich aromas. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The owner made the restaurant available upon request even though it was closed (10 out of 10). Truly excellent. They understand how to treat tourists. Generous portions at affordable prices. We'll be back.
