02/06/2025: We stayed in Sulmona and had dinner outside in this restaurant. Relaxing atmosphere, kind person and good food. I recommend the arrosticini, very tasty

04/05/2025: • The restaurant is located in the town of Sulmona. It also offers different types of pinse. We opted for 4 different pinsas. Unfortunately, after about 40 minutes nothing arrived. The waiter, seeing the wait, asked us if everything was ok. At that point I explained to him that we were still waiting for our pinse. After a while we were told that the calipers were on the way out. In reality, after a few minutes one of the waiters informed us that the order had been lost... We had to wait another 15 minutes and in the meantime, to "apologise", they brought us some french fries. If there had been the possibility to give 0 stars I would have given them! • The grips are normal, nothing exceptional. In my opinion they had the base ready and added the ingredients later. • Not great value for money. Not recommended!

07/12/2024: Wir kamen hier auf unserer Fahrt nach Aquila vorbei und wollten für unseren Nachmittagskaffee div. Kuchenstücke kaufen. Die Behandlung durch das Personal war schon von Beginn an sehr merkwürdig. Vor allem ein männlicher Bediener wurde zunehmend arroganter, als er mitbekam, dass ich keine Italienerin bin und nur einen geringen Wortschatz in seiner Sprache hatte. O-Ton: wir sind hier in Italien! Er lachte mich regelrecht aus, als ich meine selektierten Kuchenstücke auf einem Tablett haben wollte, da noch eine längere Autoreise bevorstand. Letzten Endes durfte er seinen Kuchen behalten. Etwas später fanden wir eine Pasticceria, in der ich freundlich und mit gutem Gebäck bedient wurde.

11/05/2025: Nine of us, Hungarian tourists, arrived for a quick lunch. Very delicious food, pleasant white wine, friendly, fast service. The friendly crackling fire in the fireplace was also very nice. The bathroom is clean and well equipped. Eating lunch in the restaurant was a fitting end to our walk in Barrea. Thank you very much for the experience.

02/05/2025: Let me start by saying that we were wrong to ask for "pizza" given the place we were in... but if you don't know how to make pizza, don't put it on the menu! So I can say that the antipasti platter of cheeses and cured meats was good. The bruschetta that accompanied it was almost without oil but good... the pizza was unclassifiable! It was made of American rubber, really inedible. The service... there was only one waiter for 27 people sitting at the various tables, you name it. The price seemed reasonable to me, 69 euros (if we had managed to eat the pizzas) for 4 pizzas, a mixed platter + bruschetta, 1 French fry and two bottles of water. I wouldn't go back for sure.

Without frills and useless ceremonies, which often make you feel more uncomfortable than anything else, the owner accompanies you on a food and wine journey from the borders of France/Spain to Calabria, with oils and wines of the highest quality, and culinary creations that are moving in their goodness that arise from a mix of imagination and studies.
