08/05/2025: Had lunch just before closing. The pastas were really good tho some ravioli weren’t fully cooked. The entrees were below average, bread was flaky. Probably the dinner may be much better. Just had my coffee, one of the best so far in Italy.❤️

15/04/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo locale per le buone recenzioni e devo dire che nel complesso il locale offre un servizio più che buono. Presenta una carta dei vini interessante anche se abbiamo chiesto un Timorasso e ci è stato detto che era terminato abbiamo optato per un riesling ma anche quello non era disponibile. I piatti scelti presentano luci ed ombre. gli spaghetti a modo nostro non si capivano gli ingredienti e nei gamberoni con verdure il sapore della cipolla sovrastava interamente il piatto. Buono il carciofo ripieno e il polpo BBQ. Prezzi nella media.

26/04/2025: Preparation times are extended, but they are forgiven if you are satisfied with the final product. Unfortunately it didn't happen that way. The dough didn't remind me of the consistency of Romagna piadina, and even the filling, although correct, was bland and didn't have the authentic flavor I was looking for. Caring and kind staff.

16/05/2025: In a world of restaurants where everything seems too set, this osteria is a breath of fresh air: here you eat very well, you laugh, you toast and you feel at home. The dishes are genuine, abundant. Perfect for a dinner with friends: between one course and the next you laugh, you toast, you sing 😅😂 (without anyone looking at you askance). The staff is the real added value: always joking, attentive and incredibly kind. They welcome you with a smile, they serve you with pleasure and they seem really happy to have you there – which, believe me, makes all the difference. A place where you gladly return, even just to feel part of something authentic. More than an osteria, a large family table… with a few more decibels and a glass always full.

21/04/2025: Well I already had a couple of "favorite places", but I think this one surpassed them all 🙂 I had been hearing about it for a long time but, for various reasons, I had never managed to go. This time, even though I had booked in the corner... it went well, even though it was a holiday. Thanks to Davide, Annalisa Edoardo and their entire "gang" for how they manage this jewel on our Apennines. In addition to being in an incredible place in terms of location, it is a wonderful place, in a spectacular setting and... coincidentally the food is also delicious! 😜 I didn't take all the photos of the dishes because... well, I forgot 🥺, but here, in addition to the palate, the eye also has its part! Everything is obviously cooked with passion and with excellent quality raw materials, with results 😋 and an adequate quality/price ratio. Thanks again guys, and see you soon!

03/05/2025: Tasty. The pizza and Caesar salad are fresh and fairly large portions. Friendly staff, speak English. The wait for takeaway pizza is about 15 minutes.

19/04/2025: We were frequent patrons but hadn’t been back in in awhile, it seems things have changed since then. The Restaurant has become overrated, it is now mediocre, the quality and service has become subpar. The service especially has become very rushed and in general very impersonal.

04/05/2025: Last night my partner and I went to this restaurant and I have to say it was a great experience! We were very hungry and decided to try different dishes... The owner immediately put us at ease and was very nice. We started with a really good canestrelli (scallops) appetizer with courgette cream and pomegranate seeds, (my favorite dish) and fried cod with aubergine cream. As first courses we ordered truly exceptional seafood carbonara and truly delicious gnocchi with squid, artichokes and walnuts. As a second course we ordered seared tuna with chopped pistachios and crispy octopus on a bed of pumpkin cream with artichokes. We ended with dessert (which we enjoyed less because we were really full), berry cheesecake and apple pie with salted caramel (I'm not personally crazy about salted caramel, but the cake was delicious) and lemon and red fruit sorbet. Everything really delicious. Total bill with 2 bottles of water and a glass of wine: €150 The quantity of ingredients was really high... we will definitely be back!

11/05/2025: This lovely place is located almost lost in the Rieti countryside, near Selci, and can be reached via fairly narrow hilly roads. The view of the surrounding hills and valleys is enchanting. La Vecchia Quercia has a large car parking area near the entrance, and is equipped with finely furnished rooms to welcome tourists. The restaurant is divided into several rooms and lounges furnished with simplicity and taste. The menu features various courses, all of which are particularly good. These are dishes linked to local tradition. In particular, the pasta and bread are homemade, by the expert hands of the owners. The strengozzi, fettuccine and ravioli stand out, with condiments of your choice. The meats are sublime, particularly the lamb, goose and wild boar. The cellar offers local labels of various origins. It is worth leaving Rome to have lunch or dinner in this place surrounded by nature.

Welcome, service, value of suggestions, cadence of serving, everything excellent on a very busy Saturday night. What a pleasure! As occasional visitors to Turin (once every two years) because we live on the "wrong" side of the Mont-Blanc, we know a little about Piedmontese cuisine. If we were locals, we'd have to increase our eating-out budget.
