03/05/2025: I recently had the opportunity to dine at Antica Casa Rava and, while appreciating the friendliness of the staff and some specific aspects, the overall experience left me with some doubts. I'll start by highlighting the great care and attention of the guy who served us: a real strength of the place, always available but never intrusive. We opted to try two of their most representative dishes, the "Carborava" and the "Caciorava". I must admit that, despite being interesting vegan reinterpretations, the portions were rather small considering the price of €15.00 per dish. The sauces, while pleasant, didn't particularly excite me. As a second course, the soy braised meat was undoubtedly well done, with a really good consistency. However, I found the lack of a side dish of vegetables a bit limiting, especially in relation to the size of the portion. An honorable mention goes to the desserts: the tiramisu and their interpretation of the coppa del nonno were both exquisite and were the highlight of the meal. We concluded with a coffee and two limoncellos. Regarding the latter, I noticed that they were served at room temperature. While I respected this choice, I would have appreciated being informed in advance, as a drink like limoncello, in my personal taste, is better when served cold. The ambiance of the restaurant is certainly unique, with a style that recalls an old 1950s butcher's shop. Honestly, I didn't fully grasp the connection with the restaurant's vegan offerings, but I recognize the originality of the choice. The location, slightly outside the center, could be a factor to consider. In summary, I found the staff very friendly and the food overall average, with peaks of excellence for the desserts. I wouldn't call the quality-price ratio cheap. At the moment, I don't think I'll be back, except perhaps to enjoy the excellent desserts again.

I was attracted by the reviews and recommendations of friends but honestly it's not for me. For the same price there are much tastier options. Decent starters, disappointing first courses

22/03/2025: Homemade quality food with very reasonable prices considering it is December 2022. Very rich mixed starter, paccheri with ragù and abundant mushrooms, normal mixed meat, a quarter of Novello wine, water and two coffees for only €34. The quality is not poor but not excellent either, I would say sufficient. The owner is an exquisite person.

27/04/2025: Francesca and Giovanni are two exceptional guys in their field. Eating in their Osteria Pop is an experience to do and repeat whenever you can because it is always satisfying and never repetitive (the menu changes periodically and according to the season). Giovanni is an ambitious, prepared, innovative chef who is always looking for the perfect combination; he takes care of his dishes with meticulousness both from a taste point of view and from a presentation point of view (beautiful and good). Francesca, in the restaurant business for generations, is an incredible hostess, with her smile and her kindness she will win you over; she is also very knowledgeable in her field and a sommelier, she loves what she does and it shows, she immerses you in the story of every dish she presents to you, making you spoil it with your eyes and your mind before your palate. The osteria is located at the foot of the historic center of Scalea, it has both internal and external seats and all cared for in detail, so much so as to make it a super welcoming environment. The dishes, from appetizer to dessert, are all excellent and rich in raw materials produced by the owners themselves or at least at km0. 5 stars with honors to this place, a beautiful reality, in the heart of the city.

06/04/2025: The exterior has the appearance of typical Romagna trattorias, everything is very well looked after, a beautiful garden and lots of space. The interior is a little more refined, with the roof covered in black curtains and many chandeliers with soft lights on the walls. Too bad it's all too dark. The music chosen doesn't help either, where in an environment aimed at creating an intimate, simple and welcoming environment it is combined with disco music, which is at times a little annoying. As for the food, the two of us had the mixed crostini, the ravioli with mascarpone and pistachios and two second courses, the tagliatelle and the fillet with pepper. We found all the dishes very good, well served and also quite abundant. The service is also excellent, with the staff always present without ever being intrusive. Despite those small flaws on the place I can say that you eat well and you spend the right amount. So it's definitely worth a visit!

20/02/2025: A pranzo con la famiglia, locale modesto ma pulito e ordinato, non odori dalla cucina. Piatti semplici ma buoni. 2 adulti e un bambino, 3 primi un secondo un quarto di vino una bibita e una bottiglietta d'acqua 40€. Forse è l'unico rimasto su questo pianeta con prezzi onestissimi. 21/04/2025: Small and simple family-run hotel, very kind owners who are always available to give advice on what to visit and to meet the needs of the group. Excellent location for both natural and historical excursions, restaurant with lots of choice, generous and above all excellent portions. Games for children to be able to have a quiet chat and above all great kindness and friendliness at all times. All at more than fair prices. SUPER RECOMMENDED.

10/04/2025: I absolutely don't like the choice to do 2 shifts, at 12pm and 1.30pm. It makes you feel used and still constrained by the manager's times. Unfortunately it is catching on in the Plateau. We'll get over it by avoiding these places.

23/04/2025: This place is fine. We got 5 different items and they were all mediocre and not as hot, fresh and melty as others I had while in Rome at proper sit down restaurants. Good for a quick snack to go, but that's it.

23/04/2025: Good, touristy but overrated. It's small inside, it's almost impossible to sit down when there are more than 10 people in the place. The waiting time is minimal and they serve you the supplì on a small plate. Very good but not the best supplì in Rome in my opinion! All in all a good compromise.

24/03/2025: Today we had lunch with mum, the environment is clean, distinct and spacious. The attentive and courteous service (Claudio) We had a boiled appetizer and two first courses. Light and delicious fresh fish Maybe we could work a little more on the portions by adding a little something But now it's my stomach talking
