24/04/2025: I have been frequenting Francis/one time often and for a long time. It's like being at home. The food is good and the drinks are always great. The service, fast and attentive. Super positive feedback for Rita and her staff!!

02/05/2025: Truly TOP ice cream! It remains a little soft, which maybe isn't a good thing with too much heat, but it's delicious! It has a lot of really good flavours, we tried the Rum one (a bomb), Kinder egg (a bomb), cookies (very good), peanut pesto with salted caramel (very good). Stracciatella with nice pieces of chocolate... in short, if you want a good ice cream, this is the right place!

30/03/2025: I go in to get a vegan and gluten-free ice cream, I pay €3.50 for the cone, when it comes to choosing the flavors they tell me that there are no vegan flavors. I am told that as a true vegan I should not eat ice cream, what can I do if I am intolerant to gluten and lactose? One star because I cannot put less

13/04/2025: Friendly, quality and kindness, even though the place was full, they were very fast and punctual, the food was all excellent. Staff, helpful, kind and very nice. Without a doubt, as soon as I am in Messina again, I will return to this place.

24/03/2025: small but welcoming place (more space in good weather and the outdoor veranda), excellent choice of music (and not "invasive"). we opted for the formula: sharing three dishes each, a good choice for the two of us. all the dishes were excellent including the dessert. excellent welcome. the costs in our opinion were adequate. we can safely recommend this experience, to be repeated as the menu changes constantly.

16/03/2025: Comfortable and original environment, friendly and helpful staff: my favorite dish was polenta with tacks. We will be back soon.

30/03/2025: We had pizza for dinner, an Angus steak, a low and crunchy pizza, topped with quality products, the meat also very good, the fries frozen like almost all (I would pay double to have them fresh) excellent value for money. We'll be back

21/02/2025: Very kind guys, the mini sandwiches are really good, especially the one with pumpkin, Taggiasca olives and stracchino. The cacio e pepe croquette, served hot, is also good. Quick and very kind service. Spritz with select very good and well balanced. Online prices. The accompanying chips were much appreciated. Thank you! 🫶🏻

13/04/2025: Mai pensato di provare questo ristorante prima ma merita veramente. Il weekend ci sono i diversi menù fissi (bis antipasti bis primi bis secondi e dolce) e uno sceglie se prendere tutto o solo 2 portate Molto abbondante e buono

15/04/2025: The environment was an elegant but simple. Lovely. The service, spectacular. We were attended by a super friendly guy who knew everything perfectly and explained the history and origin of each product in perfect English. The food, incredible. Of the best carbonara pasta I have ever tasted in my life. The beer, super interesting, was a fusion between bitter but a slight fruity touch. And the wine, from the area, spectacular. I recommend it 100%

12/04/2025: My boyfriend and I came to Trento from Rome. In 4 days we tried various typical and non-typical restaurants, among those also considered the most popular in the city and this was by far the best, so much so that we returned a second time for our last lunch there. Overall we ate the carbonara (also taken the second time by both of us), the ravioli with rabbit, the veal with tuna sauce, the meatballs from the tavern, the burger place, the tiramisu. The carbonara, as Romans, was one of the best we have eaten (and we have tried many). The burger was perfect, despite the meat being well cooked (and not medium rare as is usually preferred), and we have also tried many burgers, in various cities in Italy and elsewhere, and this one here in an alleyway in Trento is certainly in the top 3 (considering quality, combination of ingredients, balance between them, which are usually mutually exclusive). The tiramisu was delicious, creamy, light. Each course was a surprise and a new standard achieved. Very few restaurants manage to reach this level, without the presumption of branding themselves as a luxury restaurant. Ste doesn't need it. For the service, we were greeted both times by a professional, polite, attentive guy, the kind that any restaurant would pay gold to have. His presence alone made the experience unforgettable. The environment is intimate, to some it might seem small and without many pretensions, but just tasting any dish is enough to make the whole context fade into the background. Contrary to other reviews that criticize the prices as high, I think they are absolutely in the average of Trento prices, but with a clearly superior quality.

31/03/2025: I went for the first time with local friends, intrigued by the good Roman pizza with mortazza, I must say that it exceeded expectations, thin and crunchy, excellent, the gourmet pizzas were special and delicious, we ended with the focaccia with superlative Nutella, this crunchy one too is therefore very light, the owners are friendly, kind and welcoming☆

28/04/2025: My boyfriend really liked the classic vanilla ice cream, cheesecake and Nutella. The price is a little high but for him it was worth it. Difficult experience as far as I'm concerned. I tried the sugar free vanilla and milk chocolate flavours. I think the vanilla has an overdose of ingredients, I don't know if it's almond flour or erythritol but the taste turned out to be annoying in my throat after finishing it and gave me major digestion problems in the following hours. Please review it again.

22/02/2025: In questo meraviglioso posto d’altri tempi ti senti a casa. La domenica il menu’ è fisso ma ti accompagnano in un percorso culinario alla riscoperta dei sapori di casa, della nonna. Il tutto è condito con la gentilezza dei proprietari che sono speciali. È situato in una zona in cui in questi ultimi tempi i terremoti sono frequenti, siamo capitati in una giornata in cui il terremoto è stato forte e non l’ho vissuto bene. La loro calma, il loro sedersi accanto a tavola per tranquillizzarmi, hanno fatto sì che io continuassi a mangiare. Posto super!!!! ❤️

22/02/2025: We went on a Saturday for lunch for my partner's birthday... a real discovery... highly recommended!!! An unusual informal location but absolutely in line with the welcome and warmth of a true traditional and "sincere" cuisine, trust me you will be amazed 😍 a surprising cuisine in the rediscovery of traditional flavors done at their best... an extraordinary chef "cook" with a personality that can be found in the dishes... a view that calms the heart and mind... trust me you will have a great time
