21/03/2026: Tradition and professionalism. A place for adults. “Historic” furnishings and architecture, excellent raw materials and an excellent menu. The desserts are less “traditional” in my personal taste but very good as raw materials.

17/03/2026: A sublime experience. Fabrizio is an exceptional host and will guide you in choosing the best dish for your tastes. I would, however, suggest the risotto al salto as a first course and the baked potatoes as a side, both truly exceptional. There's not much to say about the meat, which is bordering on perfection. The price is commensurate with the quality, so it's higher than average, yet you'll leave the restaurant already wanting to return.

14/03/2026: Staff is great so is service. Food is amazing worth the visit and price. Also with a toddler for a Saturday lunch they were absolutely welcoming (not expected at all for the area!). So… bravi bravi bravi!

15/04/2026: If you’re going to eat one unforgettable meal in Rome, make it at Taverna Lucifero! I’m not exaggerating when I say this might have been the best meal of my life. From the moment we walked in, the service was nothing short of perfection. The staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the experience they were creating. They kept the wine flowing (bless), gave spot-on recommendations, and made us feel like VIPs the entire night. Now the food… WOW. Absolute truffle perfection. We ordered the truffle pasta and truffle filet mignon. Both cooked to perfection. Every bite felt like a “you have to be kidding me” moment. The cheese fondue? Unreal. The focaccia? Amazing. This wasn’t just dinner it was an experience. And we never order multiple desserts… but we had to. There were too many incredible options to pass up, and somehow they exceeded expectations too. Between the food, the vibe, and the service this place is a 100/10. Hands down the best meal we had during our week in Rome. I would quite literally fly back just to experience this again. Do yourself a favor and make this restaurant a stop on your next trip to Rome. This is not optional.

14/04/2026: The meat was truly excellent, and the vegetables and potatoes were very good too. The service was impeccable, and our waiter did everything he could to please us, even offering us some liqueurs at the end. It's hard to find truly good and authentic restaurants in the city center, but this one certainly is. Highly recommended!

06/04/2026: We'd booked this restaurant based on the excellent reviews, and it didn't disappoint! Fresh from a walk in the Sacred Woods of Bomarzo, and with a decent appetite, we immediately knew from the aromas wafting from the restaurant that we'd made the right choice. We started with the appetizer of the day—Easter pizza with cheese, capocollo, and salami from their farm—and for the child, roast porchetta with potatoes, and everything turned out excellent: sublime cured meats, exceptional pizza, and the porchetta was truly unique! We happily cleared our plates and moved on to two first courses: rigatoni carbonara, made to perfection, and tagliatelle with asparagus and exceptional guanciale. We were so impressed by the crispiness and flavor of the guanciale that we decided to buy a small piece from the butcher shop adjacent to the restaurant. My wife finished with a plate of sautéed escarole with olives—excellent—and I had a local specialty, beef stewed with tomato sauce, olives, and fennel. I finished off the bread with a ferocious mopping up of the bread, also finishing off the very drinkable house wine. We finished with Neapolitan pastiera and zabaglione tart, all strictly homemade. We were so hungry and hungry that we forgot to take photos, but we definitely won't forget to return to try some of the other tempting dishes! P.S. If we hadn't ordered dessert, we would have paid around seventy euros: a very fair price!!!

Disarming warmth and kindness, an excellent variety of Roman pizzas, all very good, and especially the superb arrosticini, with truffle and a Montepulciano reduction that are mouth-watering. To recommend it is an understatement, you absolutely have to come here!

08/03/2026: We've been to Flag several times and have had the opportunity to try both sweet and savory dishes, as well as various beverages. Everything has always been delicious, refined yet impeccable, and made with top-quality ingredients. The place offers a chance to indulge in a slower pace of life and enjoy a conversation with pleasant background music. The staff is attentive and friendly. I understand that it's the only place in town offering such a high-quality, unique breakfast/brunch experience, but the prices are absolutely justified by the quality of the service. In many parts of the world, entering a place like this means paying much more. Thanks, Flag!

23/02/2026: Stunning venue. Ideal for breakfast, brunch, or aperitifs. I've been several times and had the pleasure of trying the avocado toast special, as well as the afternoon tea. A positive and refined experience. Friendly staff, especially the curly-haired brunette, always ready to entertain. The selection of flowers was excellent. I received a beautiful bouquet, prepared together on the same day. Original and unique flowers. The venue design is 10/10.

29/12/2025: I went to this restaurant for a birthday party. There were 25 of us, and everything was perfect. The location is very charming, nestled in the Suvereto countryside and just steps from the Petra winery. Since there were a lot of people, we opted for a €36 menu, which included: - a meat appetizer, cured meats, and crostini with chicken livers and sauce, all very good. - tortelli with sauce, which despite there being a lot of people, were good, although a little overcooked, so the pasta fell apart. - a magnificent and flavorful crouton of pork and roast potatoes. - a selection of homemade desserts, biscotti, and vin santo. - wine, water, and amaro were also included, which they left on the table. Overall, the experience was excellent. The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and I especially want to compliment the waitress in the green sweater. We were the only ones in the restaurant, but the service was quick and we were well looked after. They changed our cutlery or brought it back for us after each course. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos, but I highly recommend going there.
