Amazing seasonal food and wine, flawless and memorable for what we tried, in a historic location full of art, and served by very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Strongly recommended if you visit Ravenna.

Authentic Romagna cuisine, excellent wines.

As soon as you enter this restaurant, the first thing you say is... WOW!! I've been to many restaurants, but I think this is without a doubt the most beautiful of all!! You walk in and you're catapulted back in time: Art Nouveau furnishings, everything is meticulously crafted, nothing out of place!! The staff? Unparalleled kindness and professionalism! Always present but never intrusive! Delicious dishes, truffle cappelletti, rice, ossobuco At the end of the dinner, they invited us to sit in the upstairs room to enjoy a digestif. It's a shame we were so far away, we would have become regular customers. Thank you so much for a fantastic evening. Thanks also for finding us two seats even though the place is always packed. Reservations are highly recommended.

Tradition and professionalism. A place for adults. “Historic” furnishings and architecture, excellent raw materials and an excellent menu. The desserts are less “traditional” in my personal taste but very good as raw materials.

I had dinner with my partner on Saturday evening, after Mr. Umberto, working a miracle, even though the restaurant was full, knowing we were coming from Rome, managed to find us a table. Exceptional food, extremely kind and courteous, both from the waiters and Mr. Umberto. What can I say: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!! AMAZING value for money!!!! I recommend you always book in advance; miracles are almost unique.

An absolutely exceptional restaurant in Ravenna! Antica Trattoria Al Gallo 1909 combines traditional Romagna cuisine with a beautiful historical ambiance. The moment you step inside, you immediately sense the special atmosphere – elegant, authentic, and incredibly welcoming. The dishes are superbly prepared, and it's clear that great emphasis is placed on high-quality ingredients and genuine craftsmanship. The homemade pasta and the dishes with truffles are particular highlights. Everything was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. In addition, there's an excellent wine selection that perfectly complements the food. The service also deserves high praise: friendly, attentive, and with a genuine passion for gastronomy. You feel welcome from the very first moment. Anyone in Ravenna looking to experience traditional Italian cuisine at its finest should definitely visit this restaurant. A culinary experience you won't soon forget – we'll definitely be back!

Amazing in every way! I would go back to Ravenna even if it was just to eat at this restaurant. Apart from the amazing food, the exemplary service at every level (see Lucia), the environment and the decoration are simply unique!
