Dining at Antica Trattoria Al Gallo 1909 was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The food was outstanding – beautifully prepared, full of authentic flavors, and clearly made with passion and respect for tradition. What made the experience truly unforgettable was Umberto, a wonderful host and an exceptional wine expert. His warmth, knowledge, and perfectly chosen wine pairings elevated the entire evening. We felt more like guests in his home than customers in a restaurant.

I have only positive things to say about this place. Other than the fact that the restaurant is beautiful, you feel like you are in a museum of art but the service is excellent, fast and the food is incredible. The owners are around, you do feel that they care and nurture their place the way they should.

If you are in Revenna or nearby, you MUST visit here. We were lucky, so we advise making a reservation. Delicious food, excellent service, historic location. A must-do!!!

The service is consistently heartwarming, genuinely friendly, and extremely professional. Here, they work according to the rules of the art and classic etiquette, without ever feeling stiff or distant. You feel welcome immediately. Culinarily, Al Gallo is also an absolute winner. The dishes are refined, honest, and prepared with visible craftsmanship. The quality of the ingredients, the perfect preparations, and the knowledge behind every plate make this a restaurant of exceptional caliber. Moreover, as a chef, I had the pleasure of even exchanging recipes with the chef. That made this experience extra special and unforgettable for me. In addition, Al Gallo boasts a beautiful wine list, with something for everyone and at very reasonable prices. The restaurant is a must visit. The atmosphere is unique.The staff is incredibly welcoming and very attentive. All of the dishes we had were amazing, but the pasta with blueberries and smoked ham was especially good. If you decide to visit, it is certain that you will enjoy yourself.

What a wonderful discovery in the heart of Ravenna. Each course was a true treat for the palate, with a rare attention to detail. We were enchanted by the intense flavor of the strozzapreti with truffle and guanciale, a balanced dish impeccably served. The other dishes, presented with great refinement, also impressed us with the quality of the ingredients. The service is attentive and the atmosphere truly welcoming. 5 stars are too few. Exceptional food, kind and attentive staff, and a unique atmosphere! I was here with my partner and it felt like we were transported back in time to the Belle Époque atmosphere. The service was very kind, recommending dishes so we could try them. The cooking and ingredients were perfect, compliments to the chef.

A historic restaurant with a distinctive Art Nouveau décor. The menu is extensive and excellent. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming, serving us and explaining the wine we chose, which was also very interesting. We like to enjoy our food and wine at the right time, but we found the service a bit too pushy. Still, it's an excellent restaurant.

Last night we visited this truly incredible place. As soon as you enter, it's almost as if you've left the outside world behind and entered a special dimension, suspended in time. The restaurant, furnished entirely in Art Nouveau style, is simply marvelous: every room, every detail, and every object tells a story, evoking elegance and care. You can immediately sense the love with which this place has been cared for for four generations. Even walking upstairs to the restroom becomes part of the experience, passing through spaces that seem to have been taken from another era. The staff was exquisite, extremely courteous and attentive. We went with our extremely lively 4-year-old and felt welcomed with rare kindness. The food was also excellent: three first courses, two second courses, and two desserts, all truly memorable. Finally, a note on the bill: absolutely fair for the quality of the service, the food, and the unique experience this place offers.
