02/12/2025: It's the place we love, where we celebrate important family occasions. A warm welcome, excellent food, and attentive staff. Rooms of all sizes are available for smaller or larger events, and prices are unbeatable. The poolside atmosphere in the summer is magical. I've never stayed at the hotel, being from Caserta, but I know it has excellent reviews on Booking.com for its comfort and service.

The atmosphere is relaxing, ideal for a lunch or dinner with friends. In the summer, they have a veranda where you can dine al fresco. Good wine selection.

25/10/2025: We went on a Saturday night and ordered a lemon soda and a medium beer. A 0.20 cl bottle of lemon soda arrived, when the price listed was 0.33 cl. We told the waitress that it didn't match the price list, and she replied, "I don't know what to say, I'll tell the boss." We thought another bottle would arrive, or at least tell us she wouldn't charge us full price. In reality, she ignored us and pretended nothing had happened. We paid full price at the register. I know, these are small things, but it wouldn't take much to satisfy the customer. Another thing: the beer was undrinkable, due to a faulty keg. If a customer tells you this and other people subsequently order the same beer, at the very least, show up at the tables and replace all the beers; don't wait for everyone to point out that the beer is undrinkable. We found the staff to be unprofessional. I must say the pizza was good.

01/10/2025: Located on a hill with a large terrace offering beautiful views of the hills and plains, the well-maintained establishment sells traditional homemade products. The (worker's) menu offers a variety of choices and also includes a good selection of desserts and espresso corretto (I found the pasta dishes a bit too al dente, especially the casoncelli). I recommend it! Reservations are helpful to secure a spot on the terrace.

16/12/2025: We went there for dinner. One of our family members has celiac disease. The waiter immediately changed her placemat to a different color to avoid any confusion. The food, whether gluten-free or not, was excellent. The gluten-free pizza was even the best we had in Rome. The waiters were very funny and kept us entertained with their jokes without being intrusive. If we're ever in Rome again, we'll definitely come back.

30/11/2025: We ate at this restaurant for an anniversary. The atmosphere was elegant and tranquil, and the service was impeccable and courteous, with professional and friendly waiters. We chose the vegetarian menu and were pleasantly surprised. We particularly enjoyed the leek and nori dish, the Garda olive oil, and the lemon butter. Overall, an excellent experience, highly recommended!

17/12/2025: Truly a welcoming place! El Sombrero is a pleasant surprise: the staff is super helpful, kind, and always smiling, making you feel right at home. The tigelle and gnocco fritto are delicious, unique, with doughs and combinations you won't find anywhere else, and the icing on the cake are their desserts. I recommend the mascarpone with semibarozzi cake and the zuppa inglese. Everything is carefully crafted and the attention to detail makes all the difference. I'll definitely be back, highly recommended! 🌮😋
