02/03/2025: Siamo stati a cena con amici....e che dire... tutto molto buono... antipasto ricco e buono .. pasta e vongole eccezionali...riso alla pescatora perfetto...e poi la frittura di gamberi e totani ottima....e alla fine dolci e amari ad un prezzo finale giusto e nella norma per quello che abbiamo mangiato.

01/02/2025: Sono stato ospite in questo locale molto carino con mia moglie. Nulla da dire sui piatti serviti nei tempi e nei modi che si addicono ad un locale che vuole fare la differenza. Non molte cose ma particolari e ben presentate. Il servizio, quello che si presentava impeccabile, gentile ma nello stesso tempo professionale, purtroppo si è dimostrato non alla altezza delle premesse. Nello specifico, abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di vino, scelto sulla carta, chiedendo in anticipo che ci fosse permesso portarla via a fine pasto, per le note limitazioni imposte dall’ austero ministro dei trasporti. A cosa che ci ė stata confermata dalla gentile signorina. A fine pasto, con metà bottiglia ancora disponibile, ho chiesto di alla stessa signorina di prepararla assieme al conto. Nulla…… bottiglia sul tavolo. Mi porta il conto e le chiedo la stessa cosa. Mi guarda come a chiedermi cosa dovesse fare. Al che le indico il tappo e la bottiglia. La stessa signorina prende la bottiglia e me la riporta con il tappo inserito ( grazie. Potevo farlo anche da me….). Mi alzo per pagare e chiedo di preparare la bottiglia. Alla cassa pago e la bottiglia rimane sul tavolo. Al che spazientito, cosciente di buttare i soldi dalla finestra, lascio la bottiglia mezza piena, regolarmente pagata, sul tavolo. Mi chiedo: un locale che vuole fare la differenza, che consente al commensale ( cosa peraltro dovuta e richiesta prima di ordinare, visto peraltro la mancanza di ogni offerta su bottiglie da 375) lascia uscire il proprio cliente con la bottiglia senza alcun involucro, senza nulla, come se si trattasse di una scenetta da film di Totò? Questa è la attenzione al cliente messa nella scelta dei piatti, della location, della attenzione nell esporre anche il campo da dove viene la cipolla che ti viene servita? Questa Caduta di stile, di disattenzione assoluta, forse per mancanza di esperienza. Questo fa pensare di avere buttato tempo e soldi in un posto che come premessa aveva tutte le condizioni per essere meta di future visite. Sempre sperando che tutto questo non fosse destinatario di un uso successivo del vino rimasto….ma non uso neppure pensarlo….. Mi auguro che sappiano fare tesoro di questo mio commento ma soprattutto che facciano rifornimento di sacchetti porta bottiglie, che anche la più squallida osteria di campagna e in grado di fornirti. 18/02/2025: For people who like to lick plates powdered with sugar or splattered with sauce. I'm 82 now and I've never gotten so little food for €92. The carne crudo was dressed with a sweet peanut sauce, Zero spice and tasteless. The Coniglio came with a lot of bones And little meat and a mini portion of mashed potatoes. The portions are OK if you have 8 courses, but it was just ridiculous. So you should avoid this place at lunchtime if you're full. Sorry, I'm not a big eater, but this is a lunch special It's just silly.

They offer the possibility of having gluten-free pasta and bread, which is a big plus. The dishes are really delicious, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients (especially the fish). The staff is attentive and friendly, helping to make the experience even more pleasant. Highly recommended for a tasty and worry-free dinner!

17/02/2025: Nice and intimate place, very good meat, fast service perhaps too fast!!! However, there are some things that I personally and I repeat personally, because when evaluating a place there must also be an objective evaluation. As appetizers we took generous chips for 6 euros and mixed fried foods which I will do without next time both due to the small quantity and the price of 12 euros, but above all because they are frozen, I am talking about fried vegetables. The meat is good, both the mixed grill (almost all pork) and the sliced. One thing in particular that I look at is also the cover price, 3 euros seems excessive to me.

22/12/2024: Optimal. Friendly and qualified staff. Well done chef. Exceptional value for money. I often go to Vico Astemio and I recognize the chef's ability to grow in his work in a natural way. In his dishes you can sense creation and everything with simple and natural products. Compliments. Not everyone can create a fabulous dish with a simple artichoke or trunzo. . The environment is always well looked after. Excellent choice of music. And finally the staff who grew up with the restaurant: perfect, kind, professional and smiling. Go it's worth it.

The main course Spaghetti with black garlic, anchovies, and sea urchins, strike a perfect balance of bold and harmonious flavors. The young but highly professional staff elevate the experience with attentive and knowledgeable service. The Sicilian chef’s Massimiliano touch is evident in every dish, blending tradition with creativity in an exceptional way. Not to be overlooked is the extensive wine selection, which pairs wonderfully with each course. A must-visit for anyone seeking quality and originality!

The attention to detail, care for every aspect of the evening and impeccable hospitality left us speechless. The location is enchanting, surrounded by greenery, and contributed to creating a magical and evocative atmosphere. The guests were enthusiastic about everything: from the impeccable service to the quality of the food, which was able to combine the flavors of the Lucanian tradition with a refined gourmet-style presentation.
