27/10/2024: Had a dinner with my family here this evening. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. They served a delicious appetizer to each of us and it was very nice, the fresh tomatoes with basil and crispy bread. The food was great; we could feel the fresh taste of seafood, which was very pleasant. The pasta was homemade so it was very chewy and delicious, definitely different from the pastas they sell in supermarkets. They also gave us a cocktail for dessert which was cold and refreshing. The restaurant is right by the seaside, so the atmosphere was also fantastic. Bravo, and I hope to visit here again. 👏

14/12/2024: Very disappointing experience in this restaurant. Sitting down with two people at a large round table with only a napkin and a water glass on the table is not really inviting to take a seat. We thought for a moment that they had forgotten to cover them, but we didn't. The two chairs were practically in the curtains. No welcoming feeling at all. A little more than a base was served in the glass of champagne. When the glass was emptied we were served some snacks with no taste at all. The dishes we chose were not tasty or at least beautifully presented. As a final dish we had an unimaginative cheese platter consisting of poorly cut slices of parmesan Swiss and English cheese, among others, and to think that so many delicious cheeses are made in Piedmont. We were asked if we wanted bread, which we think is an unnecessary question in such a restaurant, just give it as well as a lick of honey or jam. About 6 people in the service got in each other's way, led by a non-Italian waiter who was incredibly nonchalant and incompetent, for example holding the bottle of water and wine at the opening with his bare hands to pour. So no atmosphere and no good food and no good service. A lot of staff also in the kitchen, but what remains a mystery to us. Not recommended.

While waiting to book or for the food to arrive, they offer you a small welcome taste, which for me is worth more than any precaution and you can also ask me for something extra to pay, because kindness and attention must be repaid. Great place great food! Keep it up.

30/12/2024: Family run restaurant. Fine local dishes. Everything was explained to our group in detail and various things were served by “Mama”. A great start to our New Year's Eve stay. Thank you for the very pleasant evening.

10/01/2025: You can eat while sitting on a chair in front of the store. Four flavors are available for 6.5 euros for a large cup. I ate basil, tangerines, lavender, and chocolate. I don't know if it's because basil and lavender are plants, or if the chocolate numbed my tongue, but they had a similar green taste. Overall, I enjoyed it.

25/01/2025: attracted by the name we then really appreciated the rich and highly seasoned cuisine which however was not heavy. a tip: pair the zabaglione with the sbrisolona! we chose typical land dishes.

11/01/2025: Excellent place, very high quality products. Maximum friendliness of the staff. I frequent it regularly. Even those who don't like sushi I recommend trying it because it's different from the usual sushi. The pizza is also excellent.

02/01/2025: We went with friends for an aperitif and the owner (Matteo) welcomed us very kindly and also recommended the best! In the end, after our aperitif, he also told us that the last bottle was on them! How can you not pay homage to them with 5 stars!? Jokes aside... come and believe it!!!

With their professionalism and experience they accompanied us in the various moments of this exciting day, making it unforgettable. Our guests also appreciated the attention to detail and the "pampering" received from all the staff. Last but not least the enchanting location and the good food that won everyone over. 27/12/2024: The Fondaco contains everything you could want from a location: class, elegance, professionalism, top-notch food, well-kept greenery, large but not distracting, welcoming. When we visited it for the first time it gave us so many positive feelings, Matteo was the icing on the cake, what really convinced us. We were followed from A to Z, for every doubt, perplexity, question, we were always guided towards the best options for us; professionalism to spare, and finesse in everything that was executed and chosen. The organization of the wedding was difficult and tiring, and on June 7th Matteo made sure that we didn't have to think about anything anymore: our guests were looked after by him (and obviously by his entire team) for the entire the day, from the aperitif to the cutting of the cake, to the dancing, everything and I mean everything was organized to perfection. Not to mention food, attention to every need: from pregnant women, to allergies, to vegans, to intolerances; the menu we chose satisfied all palates and we, the spouses, also enjoyed it with great pleasure, for each course we were called to sit down for a few minutes and enjoy lunch. One can only imagine how everything will be, how the day will go, but in our case Matteo and the whole Fondaco team have outdone themselves! Better than we had dreamed, a day that we will never forget and that will always remain in our hearts. Thanks Matteo and thanks Fondaco

02/01/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant and I must say that we were very happy with our choice. Excellent service, we tried the red snapper with broccoli in 2 consistencies and the pichanha. The desserts are also very good, pistachio mousse and mandarin dessert. The entree and the additional dessert with coffee were also very welcome. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!!!

27/12/2024: Nice restaurant with limited menu but very well maintained and super tasty! and for us an Italian young lady who served us spoke Dutch. Order a side dish because it was only meat ;-) but super tasty!!!😋
