This is a restaurant with retro decor. It is a friendly local place but service is vety efficient. They have a small menu but with help from the waiting staff we made good choices. The pasta dish was very tasty. We followed with beef and pork, both regional dishes and very good, served with nice vegetables. Wine selection also very good. I would reccomend this restaurant.

I stopped at this restaurant during a brief stop in Trieste. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The dishes are carefully prepared and the ingredients are excellent. They also offer vegetarian options. The kombucha is excellent and recommended as a lunchtime accompaniment.

At Mimì e Cocotte, you feel right at home. A sincere place, authentic cuisine, just like Giovanna: you eat what she likes and you immediately understand that someone knows what they're doing. Simple dishes, but truly well-made, with flavor. A pleasant surprise is the bread from Spaccio Pani di Riccardo Amodeo, which is anything but ordinary. Drinks are even better: Davide in the dining room guides you without forcing you, understands what you want, and leads you in the right direction. Quiet atmosphere, without too many twists and turns. It's one of those places you'll want to return to.

The food was very tasty and they have a big selection of wines, but the staff acted very stiff and impersonal towards us. Even after we complimented the food there was no reaction. The older lady was the only one who was actually friendly and could smile.

03/06/2026: The pizzas are fantastic. And the variety of options is gourmet. The restaurant menu is also very good. Outdoor seating is available in the summer. Highly recommended.
02/06/2026: I had a regular salami pizza and a friend had a seafood platter. We were very impressed. The food was delicious and the restaurant is located right on a narrow street. We'd love to come back.
