02/10/2025: Everything was wonderful! Service was great and the cuttlefish squid ink pasta was divine. Highly recommend!

29/09/2025: We ate on the terrace. The service was very good, and they offered us a delicious local beer. The food was a bit sparse, but good. The only downside was the pigeons wandering between the tables and our feet.

16/10/2025: We waited less than ten minutes and the dish was ready: pork trio with baked potatoes, a 9/10. There's no table service, free water. You set the table and clear it in two seconds. Super place.

13/10/2025: I can't really rate the service because it's nonexistent! Customers have to serve themselves, but that's the brilliance of the idea. If you like it, the cost of dinner goes down without impacting the quality. It's a nice and obviously informal place. I liked it.

19/10/2025: Found this place by chance in a small square just off the busy main street. Exceptionally fresh fish. Limited menu, but excellent quality. Family-run. The atmosphere is homey and relaxing. The owner has the good taste to select some pleasantly retro background music. Highly recommended!

14/10/2025: Family-run business located in a square with easy parking. In the morning, it operates as a fishmonger, while at lunch and dinner it becomes a seafood restaurant. The place is simple but tidy, with graffiti on the walls testifying to the positive reviews of previous guests. An extremely positive experience, with a limited menu, and all the dishes we tried were extremely enjoyable, with flavors that were always balanced. The prices are moderate and more than adequate for the quality of the food.

The staff is professional, courteous, and always available, making every guest feel at the center of the experience. The quality-price ratio is absolutely balanced for the level of cuisine and service. 25/10/2025: Absolutely in line with expectations. An experience in which taste, smell, and sight combine to evoke images and atmospheres linked to the sea and beyond, and to stir emotions. At times, I couldn't help but close my eyes to enjoy the complexity of the flavors and textures of the dishes: a complexity never cloying or gratuitous, but aimed at enhancing the quality of the ingredients and the clear concept of the dish. The smoothness of some elements of the dishes and the explosion of flavor in others truly impressed me. I enjoyed the understated and relaxing elegance of the setting and the impeccable service. I will definitely return.

24/10/2025: A BEAUTIFUL restaurant with an elegant beach design! I want my home to look just like it! My absolute favorite dish was the classic calamari, I still think about it! The amberjack and crispy red mullet were amazing as well. The staff were very welcoming and nice! My only notes: the peanut pesto in the lobster pasta dish was slightly overpowering so you couldn’t fully enjoy the sweetness of the lobster and the clam pasta was slightly salty.

19/09/2025: Vacation period from September 15th to 25th, as a couple. Characteristic place, fantastic views, beautiful clean sea, crystal clear waters, few free public beaches, small but clean and tidy. Private beaches are generally overpriced, especially considering our time of year. Parking and taxi fares for short trips are also too high. Even buses cost €5 per ticket for a 2km ride. It seems excessive to me. Very narrow and winding roads with significant climbs and descents, where even with a speed limit of 30km/h, residents (knowing the roads well) drive full blast, resulting in high risks on the curves, most of the time with no visibility. Also, for us, who are here in the S. Angelo area, 2km away. Getting there on foot is a challenge (especially for me, a 74-year-old who's just recently had a hip replacement) with steep inclines, and long, steep steps with steps higher than normal (like Lenten penances). Our hotel also has steps everywhere, no elevator, and it's certainly not wheelchair-accessible. So, all things considered, I don't think I'll be returning to Ischia unless I find a beachfront hotel with breakfast and dinner at a decent price that won't cost me a kidney for the stay! 🤭🙄😳😉
