The chef combines culinary creativity with a thorough understanding of the ingredients. Each dish was a discovery of taste and smell. The location is certainly a stunning setting. Recommended for those passing through or working near the park...or simply wanting authentic dining without settling for simplicity but aiming higher.

13/07/2025: I was in Castel di Sangro for a few days' vacation and had lunch at this restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. The food was well-cooked, but the portions were very small. The service could be improved. Prices were moderately high.

11/09/2025: I highly recommend Ristorante Pizzeria Andrea. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We discovered the restaurant and loved it. For this reason, we went back for dinner the next day. The staff recognized us immediately. The lasagna and pizza are delicious. The bruschetta is also very good. The dessert is also a dream. A really nice idea: the tiramisu is served with a small espresso maker. At Ristorante Pizzeria Andrea, you can sit outside or inside. The ambiance is lovely. There are beautiful pictures of famous Rome sights hanging inside. A definite recommendation. If I lived in Rome, this would be my regular restaurant. :-)

07/09/2025: This is a true Roman osteria, like few others. A small restaurant in Garbatella with 5-6 tables and an outdoor area with another 4, but the cuisine is impressive, thanks to the owner's love and dedication to tradition. The menu is simple and a distillation of Roman cuisine. The price point is simple: €10 for first courses and €11 for second courses, but the ingredients and the care taken in preparing it are top-quality. We had a truly outstanding cacio e pepe, perfectly cooked tonnarelli, and a textbook sauce. For our main course, we had Roman-style tripe with a side of pan-fried chicory; the tripe was even better than the tripe made by my wife's grandmother, who is also Roman. To finish, we had cookies baked by the owner's grandmother. We left happy to have taken a little trip down memory lane of Rome, and we're sure we'll be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
