31/12/2024: I have to say that this restaurant, in my opinion, is the best in the city. The entrance is very welcoming as is the staff. II The restaurant has a menu that varies according to the seasons, table service with a wine sommelier to pair with the chosen dishes, bar services and a view over a large part of the old city and the ravine of Massafra. The location is, as I said before, very welcoming and typical of the place as is the menu, you can also notice the arrangement of local wines at the internal entrance of the restaurant. Speaking of the menu, I must say that it is truly excellent with great choice and variety in the grill area and the good combination of wines recommended with the help of the sommelier and based on the customer's tastes and on the variety of dishes also on the typical local desserts and chef's desserts. The bill is fair also considering the service given by the staff in the room, the warm environment, the quality of the dishes and the safety given. I also had the opportunity to test the flexibility of the menu for celiac and vegan people which allows exceptions on safe orders, reducing the possibility of contamination and respecting the customers' culinary decisions. I highly recommend it to all people who want to spend an evening in tranquility, carefree and with the certainty of being able to taste tasty and typical dishes accompanied by a good wine.

Incredible result for the palate. Excellent pairing of wines. Friendly, polite and competent staff. I highly recommend you go and try it, you will be fully satisfied as I was. Enjoy your meal!

08/12/2024: The restaurant is high up on the mountain, and our driver (not arranged by the restaurant as some of the reviews state) knew the roads well and got us there quickly and safely. We were seated in a smaller dining room off to the side where it was really quiet. Would’ve preferred to sit in the main dining area. White table cloth atmosphere. Food was delicious, standouts include the lavender panko crusted scallops, sea bass, black truffle tagliolini (a bit under seasoned for my preference, but great truffle flavor), sorbetto di limone. And for my night cap they poured a generous 4 finger pour of 15 year scotch! Service was attentive, but not overbearing.

13/10/2024: Comimos aquí la última noche de nuestro viaje a la costa de Amalfi y tuvimos una comida increíble. Nos encantó la escapada de las multitudes de Positano, y el restaurante nos recogió y nos dejó en nuestro hotel en Positano. El personal y los propietarios de la familia eran cálidos, amables y genuinos. La comida era increíble! Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante cuando visite Positano.

12/01/2025: Locale storico del paese, in un angolo della piazza principale, ambiente tipico toscano, accogliente e piacevole, personale gentile, preparato e sincero. Serviti in tempi veloci, antipasti misti di mare che abbiamo diviso e poi per finire la super pizza condita in modo molto generoso, cotta alla perfezione. Dessert con zuppa inglese e tiramisù. Serata piacevolissima da ripetere sicuramente. 🥂🍕🍅🐙🦐

11/01/2025: Highly recommended choice. We ate fettuccine with mushrooms and others with sheep's sauce, delicious and in gigantic portions, then rabbit in a cacciatore style, vegetables, sheep's roasts, tiramisu and wine. All perfect in a pleasant and comfortable environment assisted by the friendly Antonio. The bill then came as a pleasant surprise. We will be back.

01/01/2025: Lunch on January 1st 2025. The waiter's attention and kindness to my vegetarian request was commendable. From the starter to the second course I was able to fully enjoy all the courses, in particular with the second course: aubergine cutlet, suggested by the chef. Thank you

The prawns in filo pastry are a delight for the palate. Try the desserts to share... one better than the other. Professional service, friendly staff ready to satisfy every need. Always a pleasure to return. The wine list is interesting. Excellent quality/price ratio The only advice I can give is that at the entrance there are boxes containing the wines and in terms of "furniture" they clash with the surrounding environment.
