The tagliolini with black truffle and clarified butter were a real delight, as was the mascarpone cream. We also had an appetizer of mixed cured meats and parmesan (50 months!) with fried pie, ravioli with porcini mushrooms and the tart of the day, a glass of wine and we spent €70 for two. I would happily return in the fall to enjoy all the mushroom dishes!

What to say... after reading just one review, I rushed in on a Sunday without a reservation... 5 stars is a must... it's difficult to find good food (to make everyone better) and above all a nice big boss... thanks Cristiano, it was a pleasure to meet you And above all you are a good, very hospitable host.. enjoy life

We stop by every year after the game. Mandatory stop for anyone passing through here. The owner is extremely personable and welcoming, and the food is simply fantastic. Each dish is a riot of flavours, but I absolutely have to recommend the mascarpone with biscuit crumbs for dessert - a real treat for the palate! I can't wait to go back.

Vecchio Borgo sempre ad altissimi livelli, il clima super allegro nel paese di Borgotaro per il carnevale ha fatto da contorno ad una cena di alta qualità.

Pranzo di fine ottobre a Borgo Val di Taro.
Lunedì piovoso, da allerta rossa, quindi siamo rimasti già piacevolmente stupiti che fosse aperto e in realtà con i tavoli quasi tutti occupati.
Abbiamo subito compreso il perché.
Piatti buonissimi della tradizione locale, titolare gentilissimo e prezzi corretti.
Abbiamo mangiato ottimi anolini in brodo e ottimi funghi fritti; a seguire, degna di nota la punta di vitello ripiena con contorno di verdure e maionese al basilico.
Non c’era più spazio per i dolci, ma sembravano buonissimi anche quelli.
Da tornarci senz’altro.
Consigliata assolutamente la prenotazione.
