19/10/2025: I'm sorry, but we won't be returning. We were the only ones in the dining room, and we waited an hour for the first course. The pasta was overcooked, very overcooked. The meat arrived lukewarm; my fillet was not very juicy and tasted only of pepper. One guest's ribs were burned, and another's steak was rubbery. On a positive note, the house wine was pleasant and easy to drink.

01/02/2026: A rude waiter, with an annoyed and contemptuous attitude, responded with derisive and mocking words to anyone who asked about the frankly incomprehensible sign posted on the bathroom door: "Out of Service for 10 Minutes." At one point, in front of customers who were entering with the same question, he grabbed a marker and literally ran toward the bathroom, erasing the sign, then throwing the marker among the glasses.
A truly pitiful scene.

31/01/2026: The atmosphere is a bit cramped, but very pleasant and welcoming; the outdoor tables (in the square) are not very practical (pedestrian traffic is annoying).

03/01/2026: The food and beer were some of the best we've had in Friuli. Unfortunately, the atmosphere could be better because the lights are too bright and sometimes it feels like you're at the Fiera. The service is 5 out of 5, although I only had to deal with a guy who was in a hurry to take away my plate while it was still half full... (first he put his hand on the plate and then asked if he could take it away), but in my opinion, it's still a well-deserved 5 stars. My only suggestion is to dim the lights and make the atmosphere warmer; it would make it more comfortable and less "in the spotlight." Overall, 5 stars are well-deserved!

Staff changes practically every week, becoming increasingly rude and unprofessional... Mediocre food, perhaps the only redeeming feature is the drinks!

17/02/2026: Beautiful and historic bar, kind and friendly staff, despite the numerous presences at the holy mass they managed very well in an organized way the people at the cash register and at the counter, we will return to eat or rest in the hotel definitely in the summer
16/02/2026: We were hosted with a group for a seminar. They were extremely kind, even offering a special welcome. The facility was warm, the meals excellent, and the bar staff were also very kind and helpful. Truly excellent hospitality, a truly special touch, combined with the precious and intimate setting of the Castelmonte Sanctuary.

07/12/2025: We had lunch last Sunday and had a great time. The service was impeccable, the waitresses were attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. The flan and gnocchi were delicious. The stew was exquisite! Recommended for anyone who wants to eat authentic products and homemade dishes.
