01/01/2026: Pets aren't allowed! Absurd. In this very smoky tavern, we were practically kicked out with brusque and rude manners because I had my two dogs with me. I won't recommend it.

12/12/2025: The place is very nice, the food is good, but the service is truly questionable. One of the waitresses was extremely rude for no reason. Waiter work can be difficult, but courtesy should come first. I won't be returning.

17/09/2025: The Hotel Mare impresses above all with its excellent location – just a few steps from the beach, and Lignano's city center is also quickly accessible. Ideal for a hassle-free beach holiday without long walks. The rooms are functionally furnished and clean, but very noisy. Noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms can be clearly heard, which can impede rest. The breakfast buffet is rather simple and, in terms of its scope and selection, is reminiscent of a classic bed and breakfast. This may be disappointing for guests with higher breakfast expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, which is a positive. In conclusion: Those who value location above all else and are satisfied with a simple standard will feel at home here. For those seeking more peace or comfort, this may not be the first choice.

01/02/2026: Today I went to this place recommended by the Michelin guide. The worst place I've ever been. I went in at 1 pm and left at 3 pm to eat 2 dishes: seafood appetizer and grilled calamari. To get the main course brought I had to threaten them to leave after an hour. 1 hour for about ten "calmari" thrown there by accident on the plate. The overall service and quality of the food were poor, but above all, they were incredibly rude. They gave me a 5 euro discount as if it could compensate for all the poor service. I'm a private Michelin member telling them I don't understand how they can list restaurants like this. I'll be posting negative reviews all over the web. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

10/01/2026: Excellent food; quiet and welcoming atmosphere. Tables were quickly set up, even without a reservation; they welcomed children and dogs without a problem.

01/02/2026: A rude waiter, with an annoyed and contemptuous attitude, responded with derisive and mocking words to anyone who asked about the frankly incomprehensible sign posted on the bathroom door: "Out of Service for 10 Minutes." At one point, in front of customers who were entering with the same question, he grabbed a marker and literally ran toward the bathroom, erasing the sign, then throwing the marker among the glasses. A truly pitiful scene. (Location in Piazza S. Giacomo)

31/01/2026: The atmosphere is a bit cramped, but very pleasant and welcoming; the outdoor tables (in the square) are not very practical (pedestrian traffic is annoying).

18/09/2025: We've been coming to Paluzza our whole lives. Having relatives in Cleulis, we try to spend at least a few days in our beautiful Carnia every year. This year, we needed to buy some cookies for our shop, but at the last minute, the supplier backed out, and we didn't know what to do. We contacted the ladies at this bakery, and they offered their full support. We were able to purchase cookies, breadsticks, cakes, and many other delicious treats! Their kindness and courtesy are truly rare these days, and the products are always fresh and delicious. Try them!
