01/02/2026: Today I went to this place recommended by the Michelin guide. The worst place I've ever been. I went in at 1 pm and left at 3 pm to eat 2 dishes: seafood appetizer and grilled calamari. To get the main course brought I had to threaten them to leave after an hour. 1 hour for about ten "calmari" thrown there by accident on the plate. The overall service and quality of the food were poor, but above all, they were incredibly rude. They gave me a 5 euro discount as if it could compensate for all the poor service. I'm a private Michelin member telling them I don't understand how they can list restaurants like this. I'll be posting negative reviews all over the web. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

17/08/2025: My family and I went for a tasting at this winery. We ordered a few glasses of wine (all the ones offered are under €2.50 each) and two platters of their own cured meats and cheeses. Everything was delicious and fresh. The girls who work there are lovely and can give excellent wine recommendations!

29/10/2025: After searching for several restaurants in the area that were still open for lunch, we found this osteria while passing through. They were very helpful and accommodated our every request. The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat and order traditional food, especially the ravioli!

10/10/2025: Very delicious food. We had pizza, pasta, gnocchi, and tiramisu. The ambiance was simple, practical, and functional. Nevertheless, it was perfectly fine and clean. We enjoyed it and would gladly come back.

17/09/2025: The Hotel Mare impresses above all with its excellent location – just a few steps from the beach, and Lignano's city center is also quickly accessible. Ideal for a hassle-free beach holiday without long walks. The rooms are functionally furnished and clean, but very noisy. Noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms can be clearly heard, which can impede rest. The breakfast buffet is rather simple and, in terms of its scope and selection, is reminiscent of a classic bed and breakfast. This may be disappointing for guests with higher breakfast expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, which is a positive. In conclusion: Those who value location above all else and are satisfied with a simple standard will feel at home here. For those seeking more peace or comfort, this may not be the first choice.

01/02/2026: A rude waiter, with an annoyed and contemptuous attitude, responded with derisive and mocking words to anyone who asked about the frankly incomprehensible sign posted on the bathroom door: "Out of Service for 10 Minutes." At one point, in front of customers who were entering with the same question, he grabbed a marker and literally ran toward the bathroom, erasing the sign, then throwing the marker among the glasses. A truly pitiful scene. (Location in Piazza S. Giacomo)

31/01/2026: The atmosphere is a bit cramped, but very pleasant and welcoming; the outdoor tables (in the square) are not very practical (pedestrian traffic is annoying).

05/10/2025: The smile and courtesy here are the order of the day (believe it) I politely asked for a knife and he angrily gave it to me to warm up a brioche for a second. It seemed like I had asked for a miracle. If you're from the area, it's fine, but if not, it's better to avoid it. Maybe with the wine and cicchetti they would have treated you a little better.

02/01/2026: If I could give less, I would. We arrived at 9:00 PM with a reservation for New Year's Eve dinner. We ordered drinks, which arrived after an hour and a half. The menu included drinks until midnight until 11:00 PM (after a round). They told us that if we wanted more drinks, we would have to pay for them. Furthermore, they took so many reservations that they put tables in the emergency exits. We left at 12:40 AM and they still hadn't brought us anything except a small plate of fried food to share with several people.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve NOT TO BE REPEAT We arrived at 9 PM (their scheduled time). We were informed the day before that among the people who had booked, there was someone in a wheelchair. We had an assigned seat at the last table in the back, obviously not accessible. The drinks arrived an hour after ordering, not to mention the chicken, which NEVER ARRIVED. Rude, annoying staff. PS: They didn't respect anything on the menu. Happy 2026 😅😅😅
