09/09/2024: Good bread and croissants in the main street of Lignano Sabbiadoro During our stay in Lignano Sabbiadoro, we visited this bakery in the main street to buy some bread and croissants. The place is small but welcoming, with a good selection of baked goods. The bread was fresh and of good quality, perfect to accompany our meals. The brioches, although good, could have been a little softer "to our personal taste", but overall they were satisfactory. The general offer is interesting, with different options that certainly encourage you to try something else. The service was friendly. Overall, a good bakery if you are in the area and looking for fresh products for breakfast or a light lunch.

01/06/2025: Great restaurant! The high proportion of locals in the restaurant also speaks volumes about the quality! On the way home, I even took a 15-minute detour to eat here again!

27/06/2025: Until a couple of years ago the best in Udine. This evening, for the third time in 5 days, terrible service (entered to order and not counted. Three non-Italians arrive and are served immediately. I kindly ask for a maxi sandwich for €9.00 and they prepare the same size as the previous customers who paid €6.00. I ask in preparation if they don't put cucumbers (I can't digest them with the peel) and, without even saying it, they fill the sandwich with them. As for the meat, they put maybe 1/4 or better 1/6 of what was stuffed for their compatriots. I'm not a prejudiced or racist person, but 3 times out of 3 they make a certainty. Ps. I tasted the sandwich and threw it away because of the acid in the condiments (not requested). I'm sorry, but absolutely to be avoided!

26/06/2025: Takeaway pizzeria, like many others. I was struck by the price of the kebab pizza, which is outrageous compared to the others. Nothing special.

13/05/2025: Passing by on a motorbike, there were 3 of us, today, a weekday, May 13, we stopped because the place looked very inviting from the outside. Excellent food, price in line with the prices around, very thoughtful, kind and sociable owner (also because there were very few people). Thanks.

22/04/2025: I stopped on Holy Saturday afternoon, I was wandering around without a specific destination and I wasn't in a hurry. I drank a glass of red, we introduced ourselves and then the elderly owner started telling his life story (very interesting). I spent an hour and a half there. I came away relaxed. I don't understand some negative reviews about this place. We need to understand the life of these mountain people: humble and helpful. Unfortunately there are too many rude people around who think that everything is their due and have no respect for others. My daughter is a chef in a starred restaurant in Treviso and she continually confirms this to me. Send to the owners

05/05/2025: Ci vado spesso ed è un locale che mi piace molto. Puntano molto sulla qualità essendo la maggior parte dei cibi Bio. Ottime le focacce soprattutto quella con la mortadella! Il posto si presenta bene molto pulito e curato. Unico neo che è un po’ caretto e non è per tutte le tasche. Promosso!

03/05/2025: Capitati qui di sera dopo le 21 e accolti bene senza problemi . Pizza di tipo sottile cotta a legna, nella norma. Buono il maialino al forno. Scelta notevole per allergia al latte fra ben tre dolci e la torta è ottima. Bene per i vini. Valida possibilità in zona.

01/06/2025: Disappointed with the quality of the room as well as the bedding, the welcome and the breakfast do not sell the dream either, the price absolutely does not justify this hotel, I do not recommend at all

28/05/2025: The hotel is the same as always, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a large parking lot. The breakfast is limited but complete with the basics, even if there is no savory option. They could put labels on the croissants, since they were cream or apricot, they could not be distinguished, I wanted an empty croissant and I did not find one. The negative point: I do not understand the need of the breakfast girl to make so much noise and drag the chairs, giving blows to things. It was 9 in the morning, there was still time to finish, and there were few tables. She seemed angry for some reason or wanted to chase away.

19/06/2025: Good pizza, light, also available in MAXI versions. Prices are normal. Polite and kind staff also because after so many years a relationship between owner and customers is definitely established. If you take pizza to take away, it is better to call well in advance to avoid unnecessary queues. Show up at least 10 minutes before the agreed time otherwise it is very likely that you will find the pizzas already ready.

06/04/2025: The bar opens at 2pm and it's 1.30pm and it's closed. I arrived on my bike half an hour hungry and discover that it's closed and also with a very strong wind that made it difficult for me to move forward.

02/02/2025: Winter season, few bars open and we opt for this one. Packed bar, a poor waitress running up and down and 2 counter attendants... No price list at the table, long waiting times, at the bottom of the bowl of chips there was an orange peel probably from a previous customer and dirty bathrooms. Heavy bill = €9.5 for an Aperol spritz and a gingerino

31/05/2025: We called at the beginning of the week to book a table for two, they told us that for two there was no problem, no need to book for any time. We arrived at 8:30 pm and found a line of 30 people waiting to get in (spoiler: they were all those who had booked and were as angry as we were) After half an hour of waiting they advised us to go and sit at an outside table with five other people and that MAYBE we would have been able to fit there. At 9 pm we found ourselves not knowing where to have dinner. To say ridiculous is an understatement. Never again!

28/05/2025: Stop in Lignano with friends over the weekend. Having enjoyed the experience at Fiumicello's sister restaurant, we decided to stop at this place in Lignano as well. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. The structure has remained frozen in time: the furnishings and atmosphere take us straight back to the 80s, with an obvious need for renovation. The menu promised more than was actually available: several dishes could not be ordered, and the salad served was cold from the fridge, with many blackened leaves, a clear sign of poor freshness. The same goes for the club sandwiches and chips, frozen and nice and fresh! Sorry to say, but there are places that really need a restyling, not only in appearance, but also in the quality and care of the food.

18/05/2025: We were at this bar last night, arriving around 8:30 pm and there were 5 other tables besides us. After sitting down we were ignored for 10 minutes while the two waiters went back and forth without deigning to look at us. At a certain point we decided to take the initiative and ask for at least a price list (which wasn't on the table) and we were told that it would arrive immediately. While we waited the waiter we had spoken to shortly before was laughing and joking with his colleague. After another 10 minutes or more we decided to get up and leave. I understand that if there are a lot of people the waiting times can be long, but in this case waiting 20 minutes for a price list is unacceptable in my opinion. Definitely unprofessional. I advise the owner to hire people who want to work and I advise future customers to change bars.

15/05/2025: The restaurant is on the beautiful little square. The tables and chairs are very dirty, you will wait for the service very long. We were only ones in the garden and waited for 10 minutes. They are nice but not se responsive. We ordered drinks and food, drinks were ok, the food was tasty mostly but the pasta was cold, the pizza was under average and old, and the lasagna was really ok. We waited for the food for about 45 minutes. Inside of the restaurant is loud and dirty looks like night club, and the toilet barely worked. There are lot of restaurants near by, choose another one.

Tutto sommato non è un locale economico ma, si sa, la qualità si paga. Ottimi i vini proposti. Ci siamo trovati Bene e ritorneremo sicuramente per assaggiare altre specialità❤️
