07/09/2025: The staff were welcoming and friendly, but the service could definitely be improved. We found the breakfast system a bit ambiguous and unclear. I don't understand the point of having to order a coffee/milk/juice the day before for the next day. Furthermore, it seems like if you want to change, you can't because once you've made your choice, you'll get the same breakfast the following days. The rooms were clean and we slept well, but the electrical outlets (not working) and the bathroom shower and toilet could use some maintenance. The room we stayed in was room 5.

30/08/2025: A wonderful place, a paradise to stay without a doubt, both the attention of its staff, the restaurant and the breakfasts are 10, kindness, sympathy, cleanliness, and looking out the window of the room is priceless, I hope to return someday I was short days, and the best Argentine grill that you can eat without a doubt, exquisite meat and 100% quality

11/08/2025: My wife and I have been coming to Italy every year for the past 8 years, and these are the best pizzas we’ve ever had. On top of that, the owner is very professional, welcoming, and friendly, and it’s clear he has mastered his craft. Highly recommended.

13/08/2025: We came for lunch and the place was empty. The lunch selection is really poor, with very few dishes available (even no sashimi). The evening menu, however, seems much more extensive; I recommend checking the menu in advance to see what's available. Aside from the poor selection, the dishes didn't seem excellent. The fish was nowhere to be found, and everything seemed to have the same flavor. There were more than one dish I wished I hadn't finished.

18/08/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance. At first, we were a little perplexed because we were the only ones there and it seemed a bit too casual. However, it turned out to be a place with good food (the starter and dessert were excellent), the young woman who served us was incredibly kind and friendly, and the prices, above all, are practically impossible to find these days. Recommended!

26/07/2025: We recently had lunch at this restaurant and were generally satisfied 👍. Arriving around 12:00 🕛 after having spotted the restaurant by car 🚘, we asked if we could sit down; at that point we were asked if we preferred a veranda or a completely outdoor setting. Opting for the latter, we then waited for a table to be prepared for us next to those already reserved 📞. Browsing the menu 📋, we immediately noted the deliciousness of the various options, finally choosing two second courses (lamb chops on mint and pea puree and cod in squid ink with green asparagus) accompanied by two portions of chips 🍟. To complete the order, we also ordered a small beer 🍺, a 0.75-liter bottle of sparkling water 💧, and a glass of Cabernet Franc 🍷, followed by two coffees ☕. Everything was absolutely tasty 😋 and well-cooked, and the choreography of the dishes was also excellent 👌. The staff were very kind and friendly, from the manager 🧑🏻 who welcomed us to the various girls 👩🏻👩🏼 who then served us. However, I must make a comment regarding the wait times and, more generally, the organizational aspect: if, initially, everything went well, then something stopped working... we waited over half an hour for the coffees, while the desserts 🍰, despite repeated requests, never even arrived. Not that it was the end of the world, in fact the rating remains largely positive 👍, however I think it's fair to point it out; it should also be said that the place was full anyway and this may have caught the staff a bit off guard. I'm also aware of the current difficulties (including psychological ones) of a category, that of restaurateurs, against which our illegitimate government has declared an unjustified and intolerable all-out war; therefore, I fully support this and, nevertheless, wish the business a good restart. Prices are perhaps slightly higher than average but in any case fair in relation to the quality. Bathrooms 🚾 clean and tidy 🚽🧻. Parking area 🅿️ not huge but still adequate. The surrounding rural setting is pleasant even though the structure faces the main road 🛣 connecting Aquileia and Grado. Overall, we had a good time, so I RECOMMEND IT 👍. 26/08/2025: I don't quite understand the good reviews. Yes, the location is beautiful, the service is friendly, but since the restaurant is almost empty every evening, we suspected something was wrong. We had the seafood platter for €40 per person (3 people = €120). It tasted of nothing except slightly charred and a few grains of sand. It's a shame. Serving something like that in such a beautiful restaurant right on the beach is practically a crime.

24/08/2025: The menu isn't very extensive, the fish is good, and the frico is good too... but it's TOO EXPENSIVE: a small grilled fish costs €40 per person, when you can find it for €25 in any other restaurant... 2 appetizers (1 for €45 was raw fish with 2 oysters) + 2 small grilled fish + 1 spaghetti with clams + 1 frico + 1 bottle of prosecco and water... TOTAL €276...

18/08/2025: Terrible service!!!! We stopped here to relax and were treated horribly by a dark-skinned and extremely rude employee!!! I'm not complaining because we were served by a black man, but because she was rude!!!

10/08/2025: A pleasant stop at this place I wasn't familiar with... excellent draft beer, good table service: friendly and attentive owners... in this summer heat, the salad was very welcome, as was the classic hamburger with excellent fries... Strategically located, it can satisfy many customers, with reasonable and fair prices. Whether you're in Forni di Sopra on vacation or just passing through, this place is worth a stop.

05/06/2025: Mi sono recata qui tante volte, per cena o per aperitivo e non delude mai. Favoloso l'idea del cicchettin hour (buffet di cicchetti e bevanda a 20 euro a testa)... Assolutamente una tappa imperdibile a Udine per passare qualche piacevole ora tra delizie e buon vino. Tutti i ragazzi dal bancone alla sala sono sorridenti e gentili e rendono la visita ancora più gradevole

25/05/2025: We stopped here for lunch (primo + coffee). It's a bit hidden in the old town, but perhaps that makes it all the better. Highly recommended!

13/08/2025: What a wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the interior exudes history. It's one of the oldest taverns in Udine. Federico, the owner, makes you feel at home, and the quality of the dishes is top-notch, featuring all local products hand-picked by him. If you want to spend an evening enjoying tradition and innovation with prompt and attentive service, this is the place to be!

10/08/2025: I was looking for a restaurant near the station, I used an app and ended up there by chance... well... in the end, it felt like I was eating at a friend's house: attention to detail, thoughtfulness, order... it's called an osteria, but it only has the convivial atmosphere of an osteria, the place is modern and very well decorated, with few seats. If you then add that the cook (don't call him a chef or he'll get pissed off) really knows his stuff in the kitchen... you win! A truly pleasant experience... highly recommended! Nb: if you also include Roman staff... you like an easy win! Go Flavia!
