21/08/2024: I was with a co-worker, and everything was fine except the service, which was very slow, and due to the position they put us in, in a corner, the waiters did not pay attention to us. We have had to get up and go ask for things near the cashier, more than once.

Pasta - small portion sizes for the price Unremarkable tasting ragu sauce Beef carpaccio was good and interesting due to its smoked nature Mixed salad was of a good size for the price. Wine pours not very generous versus many others restaurants / enotecas. On a busy street with a lot of car noise.

22/08/2024: Truly a pleasant discovery. It is possible to eat fresh, good and abundant fish dishes on the marina. Very kind staff. A "down to earth" place (plastic cutlery and festival tables) where the quality is very high and the prices are honest. Advised.

22/08/2024: Wonderful surprise! We ate two delicious grilled fish (sea bass, prawns and calamari) on the marina! Informal place (plastic cutlery, wine served in a plastic carafe, festival table) super friendly staff, more than honest prices (€15 each grill) and high quality food. I can't wait to go back!

05/09/2024: We stayed a few days in Gorizia and at Mama Angela's we had aperitifs, lunch, dinner and breakfast (several times) and on every occasion we had a really great time. We ate and drank very well, the staff is efficient, kind and prepared. Clean and quaint place, full of character. Perfect location and location, right in the center, in the particular beauty of Piazza della Vittoria. Excellent value for money, a fixed stop on our next visit to Gorizia!

17/08/2024: We waited over an hour to eat, and the place wasn't even crowded. The manager is very helpful and likes to entertain customers, he gets lost in chatter and this slows down the service. The food is good but the wait doesn't make the experience pleasant

Assolutamente consigliata!

11/08/2024: When delivering for a customer I am referring to the hotel staff (who made me wait 15 minutes just to ask for information) who tells me, in a rude and disinterested way, that they don't call the rooms for home deliveries. I'm not complaining about the fact that they can't do this as I don't know the rules established by the establishment, but after a long wait for such basic information they could have shown a minimum of kindness.

04/07/2024: Sosta di transito in hotel e cena al ristorante. Posti su strada di scorrimento sono - incredibilmente - silenziosi e tranquilli con un grande parco con piscina. Tutto è fermo agli anni 80, un po' fanè, ma gli spazi ed o servizi ci sono tutti. Il giardino e la sala col camino del ristorante sono molto carini. Il cameriere formale d cortese. Tartare per me, insolitamente servita con burro salato e crostini di pane; buona. Polentina con fonduta di Montasio per mia moglie; ottima. Lo stesso ottimo primo per tutti e due: tortelli non di pasta ma di patate con ripieno di ricotta e uvetta alla grappa. Piatto della tradizione friulana, molto buono. Un dolcino niente male, due calici abbondanti di Ribolla Gialla, una grappa Storica Nera di Cividale ottima. Ambiente tranquillo e rilassante. Euro 80.00. Consigliato.
