We were hoping for a wider selection of traditional dishes, but other than that, Al Fogolar is a pleasant place with a friendly and attentive service, as well as excellent meat specialties. Highly recommended 👌🏼

Professional and knowledgeable staff, very attentive to customers, especially those with allergies or intolerances. The atmosphere is relaxing and clean, with tables positioned just far enough apart to converse without disturbing the neighbors. Excellent food. I recommend the grilled meat and the venison gnocchi, a real treat. Compliments to the friendly and always smiling wait staff.

The only place in the area that serves grilled meat this good. The "fogolar" in the center of the room where the owner cooks the meat is very beautiful. Excellent service. Wide selection of wines.

Dinner with a friend. I must say, excellent meat. I had tartare, he had stewed cheeks with potatoes in tecia, and I also had a slice of picaña steak, simply divine. The meat was cooked to the order, good red wine for me, and water for my companion. Fair price, including two coffees and two liqueurs, enjoyed on the outdoor patio while smoking a cigarette. Well done!!

The Best Restaurant in Gorizia I've been to this grill restaurant a couple of times in Gorizia, and I must say it was a real pleasure! The meat is exquisite, cooked to perfection, and has a unique flavor. The waiters were incredibly hospitable and friendly, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, with the grill in the center of the room a real treat. P.S. The waiter is truly exceptional!

13/12/2025: I haven't tried anything; I can only comment on the location. The bar is rustic and charming. The place is quiet. There's seating, a large play area for children with swings, and even a basketball court. A very pleasant place to grab a few beers or grab a sandwich.
