19/08/2024: We tried different dishes (there were 4 of us, each one a different course because we like to try a bit of everything) but without flavour, even the cold cuts had been prepared in advance and therefore very oily... we arrived at 8.00pm and the first course was arrived after 10pm... not enough staff compared to the seats... the garden was very badly kept... what can I say for sure they will never see us again....

12/08/2024: Eating out in the evening in the shade of a beautiful and ancient wisteria is priceless, a quiet place, an old-time tavern with both typical dishes of the Central European tradition (goulash for example and potatoes in the pan), and works on a trail of innovation (courgette ragu and smoked ricotta dumplings if I'm not mistaken) as well as something purely exotic (I had a truly exceptional Indian veggy lentil and samosa and basmati, perhaps not very spicy for the genre, but that can be adjusted depending on the palate) . Highly recommended, friendly and friendly staff.

26/05/2024: I'm vegan and I've been going to this pastry shop for at least a year. I got the cake for my birthday both last year and this year and I've always loved it, even my non-vegan friends. I had breakfast a couple of times, once I took a chocolate brioche to take away and it was very filling, very good. Yesterday I tried a chocolate tart with chopped pistachios and an oat cappuccino (but there is also soya, so there is more choice for veg milk) and I liked it a lot. I advise those who are vegan or with food intolerances to frequent it, but also to those who eat everything. Finally a pastry shop with lots of veg choices!

22/05/2024: A delightful stop for coffee and sweets. I don't remember the names of the cakes, but try the cannoli, the cheesecake, the ricotta thing, and the chocolate thing 🙂.

20/08/2024: An enchanted place! Mrs. Miriam and her assistants who make us feel like real guests, praise for the cuisine as well as the service, in its essential friendliness. We couldn't resist and even went back. Ahhhh, those snails in tomato gouache, how delicious! For those who are not looking for Carbonara in Gorizia, but want to get to know the local culture and gastronomy. If you find the owner available, she will tell you the story of the mother who still makes bread at home, the 0 km vegetables directly from the garden, the story of the open grill along the entire pergola and much more. And if you are alone, don't be afraid, they always have time to spare you a word.

15/08/2024: What can I say, we ate very well, the service was super... We ate Gorizia rose, Angus fillet, wild boar goulash with polenta, chifelletti and amaro made with Gorizia rose. Room with wood stove and open grill. Congratulations, we will definitely be back.

06/08/2024: Tasty gluten free pizzas, the pizza dough is well done and the toppings as well. However, it is very expensive, we had 2 gluten free pizzas and 2 aperol for 57€. Each gluten free pizza had an supplement of 6€.

06/08/2024: Cena di classe delle superiori a 26 anni dal diploma. Locale scelto perché fanno un po' di tutto in modo di accontentare tutti i gusti. Io personalmente ho preso una scogliera, non era male ma non indimenticabile, però i prezzi sono buoni e il servizio e' simpatico (un po' ruspante)

18/05/2024: Locale arredato elegantemente e tavoli ben distanziati in modo da permettere la conversazione senza essere disturbati. Servizio molto buono, familiare e simpatico. Cucina eccellente, tradizionale con note innovative ben calibrate. Dovrei segnalare tutto, ma io ho gustato in modo particolare l’antipasto con lo sgombro e i sardoni impanati. Non amo i dessert ma la rivisitazione del “pane burro e marmellata” ha costituito una dolce sorpresa! Un vivo elogio a tutti!!!

15/08/2024: The place has its age, it is not badly kept but the interior shows that the years are passing, just because it is out of fashion, the place is clean, of course. The dishes are excellent, only the desserts for those who love them "sweet" were a little less so, but in my opinion they were more than fine. The service is not like a restaurant but still very punctual, and the waiter/owner is also nice, I presume. We had a great time. Compliments.

29/08/2024: Even though we were close to the kitchen's closing time, we were allowed to sit down and order. The pizzas were served in no time and were well cooked and well seasoned. The bartender/waiter Daniele was very kind and helpful to us and prepared some excellent coffees...highly recommended place

21/07/2024: Top quality/price ratio!! Delicious and plentiful fish and the price was too honest. Particular note: they didn't have dessert for celiacs, they provided it very well, something that other restaurants don't do!! Excellent we will return.

12/08/2024: If you are looking for a place geographically halfway between the sea, the mountains and a city of art, surrounded by vineyards and, even better, managed with love by a family structure, but not because it is "simple" but because it is attentive to the customer and his existence (from the power supply to the accessories in the room; from the small comforts to the spaces available, up to tourist information and travel advice) here you are in the right place! Mr Marco, together with Roger, Tiziana, Indra, the wonderful kitchen artists and the housekeeping ladies made our stay very pleasant and both our eyes and... our taste buds happy!
