04/06/2025: Non abbiamo prenotato e ci siamo presentati alle 13.30. Molto gentili hanno trovato un tavolo per noi e i nostri due cagnolini con vista sul canale dei pescherecci. Buon saute' di cozze e spaghetti allo scoglio. Anche il fritto buono. Peccato non abbiamo goduto dell'amato offerto come accaduto per altri clienti perché camerieri stanchi e desiderosi di chiudere...comprensibile...o forse no?

But the sandwich and chips I ate were phenomenal, they were worth the wait! So I recommend it, as long as you don't rush...

15/05/2025: Last night I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant located in the quiet Groina area of ​​Gorizia. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a mise en place that was well-finished, as can be seen from the embroidered tablecloth that served as a backdrop to the dishes. I began my tasting experience with an inviting plate of gnocchi, immersed in a creamy and fragrant green sauce, delicately decorated with edible flower petals. The appearance was very inviting and promised a balance of flavors between the rusticity of the gnocchi and the freshness of the seasoning. Next, I tasted a portion of meat tartare, presented in an original shape and accompanied by a bed of fresh vegetable julienne and a slice of bread that seemed fragrant. The bright color of the meat suggested its freshness and quality. To end the dinner on a sweet note, I opted for a tiramisu served in an elegant glass. The generous dusting of cocoa and the decoration with a sprig of dried flowers added a touch of refinement to this classic of Italian pastry. the dishes are prepared with care and attention to presentation. Certainly a culinary experience that has been able to delight both the sight and the palate.

22/06/2025: Stuff was nice, but food not. Restaurant has a lot of good reviews but i am not sure why. We had fried fish plate and prawns pasta and it was tasteless. A lot of people was inside so looks like popular spot but i dont understand why.

13/06/2025: In town for work I walk around in the evening to find a place for dinner and I find this Osteria which is right in the square. Friendly and nice welcome, I sit inside given the uncertain weather, but they also have tables outside. I take gnocchi with goulash and I must say I made the right choice given the goodness of the food. Then I move on to dessert, chocolate cake. For being in the square and for the quality I would say honest prices. I will keep it in mind for the next trip to these parts.

29/04/2025: Inside it is a very beautiful tent. Nicely furnished. Terrace is a poor result inside. There are many more cozy terraces in the between streets.

10/06/2025: Excellent ice creams, quality raw materials. Empathetic staff, with few exceptions. If you want to consume a good ice cream on the fly, this is the right place. Check the opening hours, to avoid surprises.

25/05/2025: Craving for ice cream, not being local, I look on the internet and it indicates this ice cream shop as one of the best. I ask for a cone with 3 flavors + cream. €7 and something. I paid without saying anything but honestly what I will remember will be the SALTY price and not the creaminess of the ice cream.

18/04/2025: A pub which I believe is now historic and esteemed, having overcome highs and lows such as Covid and is still there in the heart and on the Corso di Gorizia. A beautiful place that I used to frequent while living in Gorizia and now unfortunately I'm a little ill due to illness, and always a place that I wouldn't change anything about. 🥰. Both the food and drink were of excellent quality. Staff always helpful and cheerful and it is a place for all ages. We spend pleasant moments at any time of the day. Too bad I'm no longer in Gorizia but it's wonderful to hear from those who have spent evenings there. A place full of those who live their youth so it is always there and never gets old. 😍. 09/10/2024: Lunedì 07 ottobre 2024, prenotato per pranzo tra vecchi amici (sette persone), in questo ristorantino ai piedi del colle della Rocca di Monfalcone. Che dire…Una inaspettata meraviglia per tutti i commensali!!! Cortesia, educazione e disponibilità uniche, molto ben unite ad una professionalità molto apprezzata. Pulizia degli ambienti al top. Qualità dei cibi ottima e quantità più che abbondanti, di una cucina che rimandava ad antichi sapori casalinghi, ormai difficili da reperire. Assaporato dei gustosissimi Gnocchi con Gulasch (slurp!!!), delle tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, Jota triestina. Secondi di Lubianska con ajvar, calamari fritti, gamberi arrosto, con contorno di patatine fritte e verdure. Come dolci, eccezionale la crostata ai frutti di bosco. Mezzo litro vino bianco, acqua minerale, caffè, grappa e slivovitz. Prezzo onestissimo, quantificabile in circa 30 euro a testa. Assolutamente da riprovare. ASSOLUTAMENTE consigliato P.S.: Non ci sono foto perché nella fretta di assaporare le pietanze, che al solo guardarle ispiravano a un goloso unico, nessuno di noi ha pensato al cellulare...

15/04/2025: Habe noch nie in den letzten 52 Jahren so schlecht gegessen. Alles war aufgewärmt. Die Pasta fett und steinhart, der.Fisch schmeckte nach uralten Frittenöl. Kurz: Grauslich!!! P.S.: Bereisen schon sehr lange Zeit Italien.
