14/08/2024: Beautiful evening with my family. The quality and the dishes were excellent! I wanted to taste everything. The delicious piñata, I recommend it as an appetizer, even for sharing. The only piece of advice is that if you decide to go there (like me) on a beautiful August evening, ask to eat inside as there is air conditioning, unfortunately with the hot temperatures it is difficult to stay outside. All-female service 💪 very nice, good girls, kind and nice! We will definitely be back.

25/08/2024: Esperienza bella sotto tutto i punti di vista, cena all’aperto, tavoli distanti, leggera musica di sottofondo e temperatura ideale. Ci accoglie una donna gentilissima, che da perfetta padrona di casa ci racconta l’azienda e il ristorante, per la scelta dei vini la figlia super preparata. Abbiamo mangiato ottimi fiori di zucca ripieni, un risotto alle erbe (20 erbe nello stesso piatto) tra i più buoni mai mangiati negli ultimi tempi…stratosferico, squisiti porcini al cartoccio e un panciotto di maiale che si scioglieva in bocca. Vino Mirnik, un blend della cantina Sgubin ottimo. Uno staff tutto femminile anche in cucina. Cura nei dettagli, ospitalità e passione per il proprio lavoro. Un luogo dove si deve andare per capire come la qualità delle materie prime e la capacità di lavorarle producono ottimi risultati.

We are welcomed by a very kind woman, who as the perfect hostess tells us about the company and the restaurant, while her super-prepared daughter tells us about the choice of wines. We ate excellent stuffed courgette flowers, a herb risotto (20 herbs in the same dish) among the best we've ever eaten in recent times...stratospheric, delicious porcini mushrooms baked in foil and a pork belly that melted in your mouth. Mirnik wine, an excellent blend from the Sgubin winery. An all-female staff also in the kitchen. Attention to detail, hospitality and passion for one's work. A place where you must go to understand how the quality of raw materials and the ability to work with them produce excellent results.

13/08/2024: I went to get an ice cream and a milkshake, as soon as you enter you can smell artisanal ice cream, I got a pistachio ice cream and it was a cream, very good, however the chocolate milkshake tasted like unprocessed chocolate it seemed pure, all tasty staff nice and super helpful, worth trying at least once in your life. (among other things, he is the 2022 2023 2024 winner of the Italian ice cream competition)

08/08/2024: Even though I have always criticized what underlies the vision of this ice cream shop, I must be honest that it has won me cup after cup over the years. The girls behind the hornbeam wells are always very smiling and helpful towards the customer. The environment is modern and warm at the same time. The "magic" is not only in eating ice cream, but also in being able to see those who prepare and process the raw materials for sorbets and ice creams at work. The products you will find here are authentic, out of mass production chains or other forms. A good ice cream, the flavor that won me over was the Fior di latte. Although it is a basic and "simple" flavour, it is the first that makes you understand whether an ice cream is good or not. This fior di latte has something special, it reminds me so much of the ice cream of my childhood. In summary, I wholeheartedly endorse this ice cream shop and the idea of ​​"making ice cream" that it promotes. I recommend it especially to those who are now tired of eating "commercial" ice creams or ice creams which are often unbalanced and unsatisfying despite the cost having increased!!

20/08/2024: Not gonna lie, this one is good. The food is always amazing. Cooked perfectly, seasoned and fresh, the food never disappointed. The only complaint is it's sometimes busy and sometimes seats and tables are not the cleanest. But overall it's great.

23/08/2024: I participated in the event organized by them, dinner with game-based dishes. Everything was tasty, especially the pappardelle with hare sauce, which had a very strong flavour. Each dish was paired with a wine, pairings that I appreciated. The service was a little too fast (we finished everything in just over an hour), but still orderly and courteous on the part of the waitresses present that evening. In short, an excellent place to enjoy homemade flavours

The delicious palacinche! Excellent coffee! If I may allow myself to recommend: mineral water in a glass bottle (added value) cannot be paid at 350 euros! by the sea with service, very kind waiter, wonderful view of the bay of Duino, you must! White tablecloth and Flanders napkin! Also worth going to Cavaluccio in Duino, very hospitable ❤️💯
