29/04/2026: Located at the beginning of the pier, with a great view of the lagoon, this restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. The service is very friendly, with young and friendly staff. The octopus salad is excellent, the grilled calamari is incredibly tender, and the fried fish is dry and crispy. It's worth it!

01/04/2026: I visited for lunch on a weekday specifically for the gluten-free pizza, and it was really good, although a little heavy. I struggled to finish it all, which has never happened to me before. However, the staff is very attentive and knowledgeable about celiac disease, and the pizzas arrived alongside the gluten-free ones.

23/02/2026: Incredible pizza and foccacia dough that makes this a must visit spot in Gorizia. The sauce has a nice overall balance of slight acidity and sweetness. The man making these delicious pies also speaks fluent English. The inside has plenty seating options as well.

18/04/2026: They recently changed management, but the quality of the food hasn't changed, and the service remains excellent. In my opinion, perhaps the atmosphere could use a makeover; it's remained unchanged since opening in 1987. The place is clean, but it's remained "static," which is probably what many people like, giving them a sense of belonging or security in this chaotic world.
11/04/2026: This restaurant has the atmosphere of a true Italian trattoria. We were there three days in a row during our stay. Jimmy, the waiter, served us with a smile and cordiality. The food—pizza, seafood, and pasta—was delicious and the portions were huge. Best regards.

18/04/2026: Tonight I ordered pizzas for takeout. Of the six pizzas, including one fried one, unfortunately only the fried one was good. It's a shame, because I find the pizza dough very good, but all the others were burnt, or rather, charred... I have photos of one of the six. I find this truly inexcusable. Unfortunately, I won't be back.
18/04/2026: For me, this pizzeria is the best within a radius of many kilometers, and certainly in Friuli! The pizza is authentic Neapolitan, with a soft and flavorful crust, a nice, plump and inviting crust, and meticulous attention to ingredients and cooking.
Every dish is a work of art.
If you love authentic pizza, this is a must-visit!
Caterina also pays special attention to your specific needs, so she offers a wide selection of vegan options and excellent gluten-free pizza.

"Only for two pizzas, no," dismissing us without further ado...
... I work in the restaurant business too, and I know how much the ingredients cost, but please have the decency not to offer gluten-free options if you're only bothered by offering them "because there are two!"

24/02/2026: Excellent pizza, tasty and easy-to-digest dough. Very good even with the gluten-free dough. The only downside is the prices are a bit higher than average.

05/05/2026: Who said a generous plate isn't trendy? Honestly, you eat well, you spend little, and the dishes are so generous that when you go out, you'll want to take a nap. I had the scialatielli with shrimp busara-style, delicious; my husband had a light and tasty mixed fried fish. I think the other dishes were just as good. Excellent, friendly, simple, and authentic.
