20/03/2026: Gelateria Gioiosa: My "cheat day" in Grado ​As a Grado resident, you know it well: we have as many ice cream shops as you want, but when the fateful "cheat day" arrives and I crave something truly ignorant and indulgent, I head straight to Gelateria Gioiosa. ​My ritual: Dubai Chocolate (and nothing else) ​There's no point beating around the bush, I come here for one specific reason: Dubai Chocolate. Guys, if you want to understand what true indulgence is, you have to try it. It's the flavor I always get: that crazy mix of chocolate, the crunch of pistachio, and that texture that fills your palate... it's out of this world. For me, if there's no Dubai Chocolate, it's not a true cheat day. ​Because it's the best for those who want to "overdo it" ​Here, gelato is a complete experience. It's not your usual light cone; They're full-bodied flavors, rich in variety and ingredients you can taste under your teeth. La Gioiosa has this ability to dare with unique combinations that you won't find anywhere else on the island. It's the ideal place if you're tired of the same old flavors and want something that makes you say "Wow" with every spoonful. ​A Local's Verdict ​For me, La Gioiosa is the prize of the week. I go there because I know the gelato there never disappoints and the quality of the ingredients is evident. If you want a flavor that will stay with you and make you feel like the indulgence was 100% worth it, you know where to go.

09/10/2025: A beautiful restaurant on stilts overlooking the sea, with a view (of course) of the Grado lagoon. The menu and wine list are varied, and the dishes are carefully selected and well-prepared. The staff is courteous and attentive. Prices are in line with the restaurant's character.

17/09/2025: A refined restaurant with a pleasant view of the lagoon. Attentive and helpful staff. Good appetizer selections, and the "Pinaccia" (a kind of seafood stew) with shellfish and mollusks is excellent. It has everything you could possibly want, dipped in an excellent sauce, served with crostini. One point less for the baked turbot, served with both potatoes and tomato, which created a somewhat watery base. Reasonably priced. Parking isn't always easy to find in the summer, especially on weekends.

29/04/2026: Located at the beginning of the pier, with a great view of the lagoon, this restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. The service is very friendly, with young and friendly staff. The octopus salad is excellent, the grilled calamari is incredibly tender, and the fried fish is dry and crispy. It's worth it!

26/04/2026: The kindness, courtesy, and helpfulness of all the staff at this restaurant made each of our celebrations unforgettable. Excellent food, a variety of options for both adults and children. It's impossible not to be satisfied. Simply put.... Always a guarantee.

06/01/2026: We chose this restaurant after reading a well-known food forum recommending the best seafood restaurants in Rome. We were looking for a special place to celebrate Christmas Eve in an unusual way, and the combination of the price of the set menu (significantly lower than the average for restaurants of this caliber), the type of dishes, and the location drew us to this beautiful restaurant inside a centrally located hotel. The quality of the fish is excellent, the preparation is unusual yet simple; the staff is kind and welcoming, and the portions are just right, not "mini" as is often the case in places of this type. It was a real shame about the finish: a crème brûlée without the crispy crust, cold and tasteless, and a small pastry consisting of commercial panettone, pandoro, and nougat. As you can see in one of the photos uploaded, we were even served the burnt bottom of the pandoro... Let's hope they change pastry chefs! Overall, the experience was extremely positive, and I would definitely return, but I'd skip the dessert.

31/12/2025: Lovely fine-dining setting and attentive service, but the food didn’t live up to expectations. Most dishes were very plain. The carpaccios in the Mare Mare set lacked flavour, except the octopus, which tasted better mainly due to its natural saltiness rather than the chef’s seasoning. The clam pasta had little to no clam aroma or taste. We’ve tried many fine-dining restaurants, and unfortunately this isn’t one we’d return to!

12/04/2026: We've been coming here for several years and always enjoy the food. This year, unfortunately, the calzone was completely burnt, which they tried to cover up with tomato sauce. While they did take the calzone back, there was no apology. The service was generally poor this time (longer wait times, mediocre friendliness), but the rest of the food was as good as usual. Since the atmosphere is also important to us, we probably won't be coming back.

11/04/2026: We sat down while the restaurant was fully packed and we ordered pizzas (we didn't wait for too long). Pizzas were good, I ordered daviola pizza and it was very stacked with meat, I liked it.

07/04/2026: Very poor experience with customer service. Annoyed waiter didnt even bother to check table. I had to ask 3x for table, was willing to wait and they just kicked us out. And there were 3-4 empty tables “reserved”, in April weekday. But food looked ok, if we had a chance to try.

07/04/2026: A trattoria with a high rating, but ultimately nothing exceptional. There are many restaurants that offer much better and more carefully prepared dishes.

14/04/2026: A unique pizzeria, with very friendly owners, a comfortable atmosphere, and excellent food. The pizzas are light and generous with toppings, and you can choose from a wide variety of doughs. I'm always very satisfied when I stop by. Highly recommended.

03/04/2026: Truly, truly excellent seafood restaurant. The fish is super fresh (truly zero miles, and you can taste it). The mussels are delicious, and the mixed fried fish with the catch of the day is unsurpassed. I'd read reviews criticizing the portions being too small: that definitely wasn't the case, and we left the restaurant rolling (and super satisfied). The price was truly fair (it's fish, it's fresh, there's a lot of it, it's very good, and it's not free, and rightly so). Go for it! Highly recommended.

03/04/2026: What a shame about this place. The service has deteriorated so much that even a still reasonably good fritto misto can't compensate. For example: All of Grado is enjoying the warm spring sunshine and eating outdoors. Yet Zero Miglia, seemingly the only restaurant in town to do so, refuses to open its outdoor seating area. A child asks for the menu, folded into a boat shape and printed on an A4 sheet. This is curtly refused. A mother's request to wait a moment for her main course, as she is busy with her baby, is met with downright rude dismissal. These are by no means all the negative impressions we had to gather in just one hour. No thanks, there are plenty of friendly restaurants in Grado; Zero Miglia is no longer one of them for us.

03/04/2026: These workers started talking bad in Italian about me when I did nothing and the food is so bad it made my brother vomit 6-7 times after the day he had it so it's not worth trying as the service was not as bad but still food wasn't good enough to support the whole area
