05/05/2026: I happened to stop by with my family on my way back from Croatia. I have to say we ate some good fish at a fair price. Coming from someone who isn't particularly fond of fish, that's saying a lot.
22/04/2026: A couple of friends took me there because they'd heard good things about it. From now on, I'll be one of those who'll happily spread the word because I ate so, so well, and it was wonderful (even the spring weather helped). The spaghetti with clams was among the best I've ever had. Fresh fish!! Well cooked... appetizers, first courses, and second courses... everything we ordered truly delighted our palates. The pairings were well recommended (a delicious Istrian Malvasia). The price was fair... you pay for the quality. The best thing, however, is the sense of calm, expertise, and serenity the host manages to convey.

The sandwiches are delicious. I've never had a sandwich so good, so gross, and yet it didn't take 15 days to digest.
The location was also interesting, giving me the idea that inside there were indigenous life forms so fragile that they needed to be protected, like the northern white rhinos.
A special mention goes to the fact that we stopped by on a Sunday at 2:30 PM. There was no one around, it was so hot it almost fell apart, and we were greeted with such kindness and a smile.
The food and hospitality were top-notch.
12/07/2026: I often order delivery, and I've tried various sandwiches, and I can say they're delicious.
Excellent quality and generous portions.

The pretzels were delicious. Very generous portions.
Nice place, easy to find, just steps from Trieste airport. We stopped for dinner upon arrival and before leaving.

10/05/2026: We booked a table for 1:30 PM, ordered just before 2:00 PM, and started eating at 3:00 PM. The food was decent, but the wait was exorbitant! The staff was unhelpful. It's a shame the outdoor seating wasn't set up.
10/05/2026: Friendly staff, and very good, plentiful food. I recommend it to anyone passing through.

13/12/2025: I haven't tried anything; I can only comment on the location. The bar is rustic and charming. The place is quiet. There's seating, a large play area for children with swings, and even a basketball court. A very pleasant place to grab a few beers or grab a sandwich.

03/06/2026: Breakfast. Good coffee, good doughnuts, but the croissants are a little less so, even though everything is freshly baked. The croissant was a real alarm bell, the jam was salty, you could taste the salt.

04/06/2026: My partner and I stayed here through AirBnB and I have to say that the accommodation is great. There is also a terrace and parking for the rooms. First of all, you may be surprised by where to park, there are a lot of cars of visitors to the ice cream parlor, but you will find a place very quickly or it will become free. The rooms are clean and tidy. I was very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast! 🩷😱 The younger staff has no problem with English, with the older residents it is a struggle, but we always found a solution! 🙏🏻 They have great ice cream desserts! 🍦🧁🍰 We had a croissant and freshly squeezed juice for breakfast. 🍊🥐🧃

02/04/2026: My traveling friends sometimes you get lucky and find a dining establishment that provides a simple place with exceptional food quality. This place fits that definition. The vegetable risotto, a home run. My spouse had the pasta ragu, home run. The grilled sausage and potato salad, yeah - exceptional. If you are in the area this is definitely a place to visit. The restaurant decor is quite rustic and simple, but the quality of cuisine is very high.. Check out the pics! Understanding that you'll never get the sense of the flavor or the experience.

09/08/2026: Ordered two pizzas at 7:00 PM, expected wait of 45 minutes and still nothing.... We wait some more, 9:15 PM arrives, nothing at all, I try to call, no answer, just 35 calls.
Nothing, we had to make do with something else.
Then at 9:40 PM they arrive....
It's a real shame that they're closed.
27/07/2026: Small place, but still with a few seats. The pizza is good and always comes with plenty of toppings. Recommended.
