02/07/2025: The lido is an awesome place. We are a family of four and had a brilliant afternoon here. The pool is great, lots of shade around the pool and the view over the lake is brilliant. A great way to escape the heat and balance wondering the streets of Varenna with a swim and relax in the afternoon. Our kids also swam in the lake right off the edge of Lido, perfect balance of swimming in the lake and enjoying the pool. The host was very personable and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

27/08/2025: Everything was perfect. Recommended. Update: I went back and had the potato tortelli with fresh porcini mushrooms, which were AMAZING.

22/08/2025: I came for dinner today. It's a very nice place that makes you feel at home. The food was very good; I found the pizza a little underdone, but not burned. But the best thing was the incredible service. They were incredibly kind. I was having dinner with some unusual people, who were quite demanding, but they still kept a smile on their faces and were kind. I think it's a very nice restaurant. I'll definitely be back.

01/10/2025: Pizzeria in the city center, good pizza and raw materials they use, nice to dine outside, inside there are many rooms, but the acoustics are bad, a lot of echo, due to the old building

Upon entering it appears quite old and sad despite the renovations done, and the usual clientele consists of elderly people, workers and truck drivers. Home-style food of reasonable quality. Friendly and informal but slow service. Correct bill.

26/08/2025: The pizzas are delicious, a variety of fantastic flavors on a pizza with a good and digestible dough, the possibility of eating inside the restaurant and also outside, you can finish dinner or lunch with delicious desserts including a fantastic Neapolitan pastiera made by the owner Virginia Avino which is the best I have ever eaten

22/10/2025: I've eaten there several times for lunch on business. The food is excellent, and the menu is €15.00, including a first course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee. One of the few restaurants that still has cloth tablecloths.

14/10/2025: Let's start from the assumption that I tolerate lunch; I'm in a rush, there are people, the rush to get back to work. And I understand; however. The focaccia or red pizza or stria that they bring to the table arrives to some (even twice or more) to others not (maybe they don't like us), ask for the bread (it seems finished, it makes you laugh, a restaurant that runs out of bread, give me a stria like the others, but no, they procrastinate and don't even tell you we've run out) in all this, in two of us, 1 and a half loaves because it was taken from the table next to us who had finished AND THEY PUT IT OFF TO US HALF DETACHED OR BITE IT (. Angry that it was only red, mixed meat that yes, it was only pork but too greasy to understand what it was. I'll pass on the food, I'll pass on the service but if you decide to open for lunch, open and do it well LUCKILY MIMMO WAS CLOSED ON TUESDAYS JUST BEFORE, OTHERWISE I WOULD NOT EVEN THOUGHT OF COMING HERE (I NEVER WRITE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BUT BEFORE WRITING THIS ONE I I waited 4 times and I have to say it would have been better to stop at the first one. Instead of sorbet, get bread for the tables.
