We went to this place, which sells fresh Calabrian products We took various cold cuts, really good and fresh, and other typical products from southern Italy If necessary you can also stop for lunch or dinner, and taste typical products, and it also makes a good Roman pinza I highly recommend it

Halfway between the shop (complete with refrigerated counter and sale of typical Calabrian food and wine) and the inn/bar. Already been before with different management and some flaws. This time the welcome was good, a very informal place. The service is relatively fast, it seems undersized given that they run a lot. Good food but could improve, bread looked half defrosted. The rest ok, so so-so value for money.

37 euros and more in total, for some skimpy roasts, good, of course, but for 8 euros they didn't even dirty your mouth! A very poor cutting board, 3 counted slices of turkey breast, 4 very thin slices of coppa and 4 slices of pecorino at 14 euros, for that price a couple more slices would have been appreciated. The sausage (barely one piece) was good, but the broccoli was cold and a little stringy. The fried dumpling wasn't very tasty and was a bit heavy to digest, it wasn't among the best I've ever eaten. The portions of chips were at least normal (for €3.50) and were good. Ultimately we paid too much for having eaten a little, for having paid almost €40 we would have preferred larger portions on the platter and perhaps an extra sausage. I don't think we will return.

A truly beautiful discovery, Calabria (and not only) in Reggio Emilia... sandwich shop, piadina shop and much more where you can indulge in composing the dish by choosing what you want. You can eat on site but also buy typical Calabrian products to take home. Excellent quality/price ratio. A special mention for Omar and Karim who followed us with excellent advice.. GREAT!
