21/05/2026: What can I say? Everything is ok, I'll be back.

17/05/2026: I was there last night. We weren't very hungry, so we tried to order without overdoing it... but we couldn't. An Angus steak that arrived cold from the fridge, you couldn't taste the meat for €18; plus a portion of fried caciocavallo that was a bit too greasy. Next, I ordered a rib-eye steak because I was craving meat, and the Florentine and toma-wok are minimum 1 kg. For the rib-eye steak, there wasn't a minimum weight listed, just the price of €6.50/piece. I told the waitress not to overdo it because my wife would only taste it. The result was a huge rib-eye steak for €65.00...very good, of course, but my wife didn't eat it, and I couldn't finish it. A bottle of Chianti, coffee, and water for €120.00. In my opinion, €60 per person for a rib-eye steak is definitely excessive. If I'd had a Florentine, what price would I have expected?! I won't be back.

19/02/2026: This place has definitely become one of our new favorite restaurants! Although the menu features a wide variety of meats, our absolute favorite remains the fresh fish and grilled seafood: everything is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The presentation is meticulous and beautiful, and you can tell it's a family-run restaurant where everyone puts their heart into their work—the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and authentic. We highly recommend it to anyone: you won't regret it! It will also become your new regular spot.

12/01/2026: A little dated, but the menu offers a wide variety. The food is good. The prices are a little higher than I'd expect.

03/01/2026: Despite the Christmas period, we had a great time. We waited a bit to order, but everything arrived quickly, everything was good, and the quality/price ratio was excellent. Always keep this in mind.

18/03/2026: A historic, helpful and reliable place

21/12/2025: We had dinner with friends a few weeks ago. The young people in the dining room were kind and helpful, but unfortunately, the overall impression is completely ruined by the UNACCEPTABLE behavior of the woman who served us coffee. After politely and kindly asking her if she wanted to hold the saucer to avoid dirtying it (by drinking the bitter coffee), her response was, "DO YOU WANT A SLAP?" She then walked away without offering any explanation. This was grossly rude, disrespectful, and completely out of place, and certainly not because she misunderstood my words. Even more serious is that no staff member subsequently apologized or attempted to justify what happened: zero customer service and zero professionalism. I've been working in the restaurant business for over ten years, and such behavior, besides being intolerable, is completely incompatible with anyone who works in customer service. Result: none of the 14 people at our table will return. It's just a pity for the young staff and the kitchen, whose work is completely ruined by such episodes.

20/12/2025: Dinner made tonight, potato and speck tortelli, tasteless and without flavour, plus the pizza chefs without caps on their heads with long hair, I think there are some rules

17/08/2025: Group lunch for about 20 people, during the Three Lakes Trail. Two tables for 10 had been reserved, but we were in different rooms, for some reason. The lunch was a fixed menu. The typical appetizer was pleasant. Next up was testaroli (nothing exceptional) or lasagna. The main course (sautéed) was saltimbocca alla romana or eggplant parmigiana. Dessert was panna cotta (a bit runny) or fiordilatte gelato with an industrial-strength topping. Water, wine (one carafe for many people), and coffee. Let's just say that for €35, you usually get better food in the Apennines. It's nice that I didn't order a main course, so I got a small discount. The decor is stuck in the '80s, but that's the least of our problems; we weren't expecting anything different.

05/06/2026: For me, this gelateria is truly unique in Reggio. The flavors they offer are special, and the quality speaks for itself: their gelato is simply delicious. The service is always impeccable, and the entire family that runs the place is truly kind, welcoming, and cheerful. Every time I come in, I feel a little at home: I open the refrigerator and simply choose the flavor I want. It's a simple experience, yet warm, authentic, and full of flavor. I absolutely recommend this gelateria to anyone who loves authentic artisanal gelato.

01/06/2026: Maybe it wasn't the best night, but they're disorganized. The food was okay, but the poor rating is unfortunately due to the interminable wait. Considering we arrived at 9:15 PM, I'd say they brought our drinks and food after 10:40 PM. Honestly, we wanted to get up and leave, but fearing there wouldn't be anything else open, we waited. We figured something was wrong because people were complaining as they left... Too bad...

03/05/2026: Excellent food and service, fantastic, polite, and friendly waiters. The pizza chef is rude, inconsiderate, and treats the kids badly in front of customers. He should be ashamed and get treatment.

01/05/2026: There were eight of us, we called at the last minute, and yet the restaurant owner welcomed us warmly. Fresh seafood appetizers, textbook fried food, and to finish, a sublime pizza.

30/08/2025: My friends are incredibly talented and have extensive experience. They really know how to cook here. The aromas are amazing! Irresistible food: fresh, seasonal, local, and, not surprisingly, honest. Delicious dishes to be savored with your eyes closed or devoured in large quantities. Restorative winter broths with fabulous cappelletti floating in them, tiny—you can fit eight in a spoonful. The lasagna tastes like a soufflé. The tortelli verdi are plump little pillows, seasoned with fresh raw butter. The roasts are justifiably famous, and Obelix would have loved the kid in particular. The wine is red. Let's not forget the desserts; my favorite is the spring strawberry one. I deeply regret the goat cheeses, which weren't made this year 2025, but who knows, next year, I hope. There's a huge vegetable garden next to the house, where preserves and jams are grown. Mountain potatoes, the absolute best, are available for purchase. The food, the family, the stable, the hospitality, it's all WOW.

17/01/2026: A quintessential Reggio Emilia pub! The place boasts a beautiful outdoor area and a classic English pub interior with soft lighting. Watch out for parking, it fills up quickly! Very tasty sandwiches and very friendly and helpful staff. A total garnet hideout 🇱🇻

04/04/2026: I went to Ale's Pizza in Reggio Emilia and ordered a €10.90 menu with fries and a Coke. For my sandwich, I chose a panuozzo with porchetta, potatoes, and provola cheese. I have to say, it was truly amazing: the panuozzo was nice and filling, you could taste the quality of the ingredients, and the flavor was truly excellent. The portion was generous and filling, leaving you satisfied. For the price, it was absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back!
