06/10/2025: Went here on a public holiday and found out after paying that there was a 15% surcharge added to every item PLUS the total bill — none of which was mentioned by staff beforehand. Food and drinks were nothing special for what we paid, and the service was dismissive when we questioned it. Really disappointing experience — there are plenty of better cafés that are upfront and honest about their pricing.

05/09/2025: Ordered the halloumi bruschetta. Was quite disappointed, the two pieces of toast were dry, no seasoning or oil, the guacamole was about a tablespoon worth and tasted exactly like the Black Swan Guacamole dip you get from coles, topped with three cherry tomatoes and one slice of halloumi for $20? Since the bread was stacked on top of the bottom one, it was basically one piece of bruschetta with very little topping. Service was very average, the female staff member just took my order without any verbal interaction which was really awkward. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy but I thought it would be a decent and fair serving, and nice service at the counter. The dish screamed cost cutting. I know times are tough in hospitality but how can I bring back my friends and recommend more business if the customer is treated this way?

13/09/2025: I ordered home delivery, and they told me the pizza would arrive between 8:45 PM and 9:15 PM (a half-hour delay seems like a long time to me). The pizza arrived at 9:45 PM, practically cold. I don't know how it is locally, but they absolutely won't deliver.

06/09/2025: Terribly organized!!! Called at 6:30 PM for 8:30 PM, I arrived at 8:20 PM, and they made me wait until 9 PM!!!! Never again, pathetic…

20/10/2025: A themed bar in Castellarano, always a great place to spend an evening. Excellent sandwiches and a wide selection of beers, highly recommended!

19/10/2025: The perfect setting for a lovely evening. The owners are friendly and helpful.

08/10/2025: Fresh porcini mushroom pizza.... Spectacular!!!! Homemade trifle... As good as grandma makes it! It was very noisy, but only because the place was packed with two tables at the same time. Highly recommended.

28/09/2025: We walked into Il Pozzo without a booking and asked politely if was possible to seat four people. The restaurant wasn’t completely full, but the staff member was very rude, he just said “no, it’s not possible” and walked away. There was no effort to suggest alternatives, no apology, and no hospitality. The interaction dismissive and unprofessional. I would never return here and would not recommend this restaurant.

28/09/2025: Dinner on a Friday evening. The restaurant is intimate and elegant. The cuisine is refined and well-executed. The wine list is fairly basic, but there's a good selection of spirits, including fine ones. Service is prompt and unobtrusive. The bill is reasonable. I'd go back.

30/09/2025: The style and atmosphere of the summer expanse make you feel like you're in Mexico. It's a shame this charm is missing inside.

14/10/2025: Upon entering the shop, you immediately feel the kind and professional welcome of Danica, Laura, or Carmen. A mesmerizing glance at the counter tempts you to try one of the many desserts on display, crafted by talented pastry chefs Daniele and Gilda, who are relegated to the back but occasionally pop up at the counter. It's a pleasure to chat with them about the delicacies they prepare. The interior is spacious and clean, with a covered outdoor area with plenty of tables, tastefully surrounded by green shrubs and flowering plants. A place to linger without hesitation. Ample free parking is available.

05/07/2025: Three stars because both the summer expanse and the interior do not have a well-structured seating arrangement. Average pastries and cappuccino.

26/10/2025: The food has improved dramatically. Maybe they've changed the chef, but now the food is 5-star. The atmosphere is still relaxing and beautiful. Highly recommended!

21/09/2025: Not my favorite. The food had a weird smell, the restaurant wasn't even 10% full and their service is pathetic.

09/10/2025: An oriental restaurant with excellent food and very low prices. It's not all-you-can-eat, but I swear I immediately thought the prices were wrong when I ordered the à la carte. The atmosphere is very charming, even if the furnishings are a bit dated. There are no chopsticks set out, just cutlery.
