30/11/2025: I ordered a birthday cake with Chantilly and chocolate mille-feuille. Without asking, it was completely covered in cream, which doesn't really match a mille-feuille. The buttery cream was the predominant flavor; the mille-feuille was missing and never arrived. Disappointing!

16/10/2025: Very well stocked with good quality rotisserie chicken, and also various sausages, wings, and ribs, which you can now see on the menu. FAST, FRIENDLY, NORMAL PRICES, e.g., a chicken, potato, and bacon skewer costs 3 euros. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKE-AWAY... BUY AND CONSUME ELSEWHERE... BYE, NICE PLACE.

11/03/2026: Second-rate restaurants (chains), clothing stores (chains) mostly aimed at young people, extremely annoyed salespeople, high prices, noisy, always crowded, with an expensive and mediocre cinema. "I Petali" is a rather anonymous shopping center (frequented by even more anonymous people, as well as gangs of criminals), which could have been done without. Now that the TicketOne store, located inside MediaWorld, has moved, the only positives are: the huge parking lot with a pleasant summer garden area; the presence of security guards; and the decision to be pet-friendly. The proximity to the stadium is more of a problem than an advantage.

06/03/2026: Nice mall, but unfortunately it has few shops, and they're nothing special. It's small, and the shops are constantly moving, which makes it a bit confusing. It has a movie theater and a good food court.

04/10/2025: Excellent selection of cured meats and meats. Most are prepared by the host, who is also the chef and owner. It's not very large, less than a dozen tables for a maximum capacity of 30-40 people, so I highly recommend making a reservation. Vittorio is friendly, kind, helpful, and always ready to joke and offer advice. Excellent and extensive wine selection that would rival any wine shop. At the exit, there's a clever display area with everything you can buy at a reasonable price: sauces, cured meats, wines, homemade cakes, etc. A simple place with wooden tables reminiscent of an old-fashioned tavern, serving dishes of unquestionable quality, expertly prepared by the friendly host. Recommended for enjoying quality meats, cured meats, and wine at a fair price.

14/10/2025: A classic mountain bar/restaurant in the Reggio Emilia tradition. Here, too, they haven't overturned tradition in favor of sophisticated fashion; here you can still breathe and eat like the old days. Supreme tortelli, exquisite lamb chops, divine wild boar. Always a pleasure to return.

24/11/2025: A welcoming practice with friendly and highly competent staff! They're also very helpful with emergencies: they always find a way to schedule an appointment as quickly as possible. The practice is also very child-friendly.

24/11/2025: In this practice, I found professionalism, empathy, politeness, serenity, lots of smiles, and above all, a high level of professionalism and expertise, from the receptionist to the dental chair and laboratory. This professionalism has been passed down to his son, granddaughter, son-in-law, Dr. Soncini, and their staff by the legendary Dr. Riccardo Azzolini, who practiced in San Polo decades ago. He is a historic dentist from Reggio Emilia, also known as the co-founder of GAOM (Gruppo Amici Ospedali Missionari, or Friends of Missionary Hospitals), and has been volunteering in Africa since the 1980s!

Here, the order isn't baked; it's entrusted to a novena. The physical proof of this passive martyrdom materializes in the paper napkin, now reduced to pulp by the nervous fingers of those who have lost track of the time zone, and in the glassy gaze of the wait staff. They move among the tables like clerics resigned to silence, dispensing not certain timings, but messianic mysteries. The scent of melted mozzarella touches your nostrils at regular intervals, not to satiate you, but to test the strength of your faith in the face of the temptation to abandon. You leave the restaurant with your wallet practically intact and your stomach satisfied, but with your soul aged by a decade, having understood the dogmatic assumption of the place: the heaviest bill, in the end, was paid by your hourglass.
