The historic trattoria
La Svolta is located in Carpineti, Reggio Emilia.
The place is welcoming and very clean. We had excellent pizza.
In fact, the place is known as a pizzeria, or as a fry shop. We tried the fried mushroom arancini and excellent cod, all of which were of good quality. A wide selection of beers.
Friendly staff, fair prices.
Free parking nearby.
In the summer, you can also eat outside.
I will definitely be back.

Fresh porcini mushroom pizza.... Spectacular!!!! Homemade trifle... As good as grandma makes it!
It was very noisy, but only because the place was packed with two tables at the same time. Highly recommended.

If you like thin, crispy pizza, you're in the right place. Limited selection of drinks. Good fried gnocco.
You can eat al fresco, which isn't bad 😉

A trattoria in a cool and relaxing neighborhood. Their unique menu includes excellent pizza, all kinds of fried foods, including cod, mixed fried fish, fried anchovies, gnocchi, and more.
Typical homemade desserts (you can even find the famous dolce mattone!)
Quick and friendly service.
A rustic, unpretentious location, yet clean and tidy.
Highly recommended if you don't have cholesterol problems.
Reservations are recommended, as it's always busy!
