14/10/2025: A classic mountain bar/restaurant in the Reggio Emilia tradition. Here, too, they haven't overturned tradition in favor of sophisticated fashion; here you can still breathe and eat like the old days. Supreme tortelli, exquisite lamb chops, divine wild boar. Always a pleasure to return.

08/10/2025: We didn't just lose a trattoria, but a piece of a mosaic that represented an era in the Apennines. The cuisine and the atmosphere reminded me of my childhood in those parts.

25/05/2025: A disappointment. Decent cuisine, but apart from the good fried gnocco, nothing else to remember. Cold cuts that are not very mature, in a Reggio Emilia trattoria they should be excellent. Prices that are exaggerated to say the least for the type of cuisine and service offered.

26/05/2025: The pizza is very good and that's the only reason I go there, there's only 1 table a fortnight if it's crowded you struggle to eat there, the people who work there have little desire to retain customers, their way of serving in my opinion is the worst I've ever seen!

If you have a friend who knows how to cook, eat there: you'll undoubtedly find the food tastier, better cooked, with higher-quality ingredients, and with a service worthy of the name, than here. They'll also definitely be friendlier than the staff at this place, which, when they're around, makes you regret getting sand in your swimsuit. And above all, it'll be less expensive, because when you have to return the invitation, you'll take them somewhere cheaper and the food will be better.

06/09/2025: Last night you really pissed me off, zoo, summer is over, I don't understand, since this afternoon I hear people screaming like crazy, even up to this time it's 1:19 am, they don't know how to sing, they look like donkeys in the stable, they're rude and also ignorant, no respect 😡😡😡😡

02/09/2025: Aware that we'd arrived late, around 2 PM, after hearing the quick lunch menu, we asked if it was still possible to replace the remaining first courses (only penne with tomato sauce or ragù) with two à la carte first courses. Annoyed, the manager brought us the menus and told us to choose right away while we stood there. I chose a tortello with walnuts and speck, and my companion the cappelletti. My tortelli arrived drowned in a glug of red sauce, which wasn't on the menu; his cappelletti were completely overcooked and like mush. We complained a bit, loudly, and made a few comments, for which I apologize. Then the manager always came over with a bowl of about ten cappelletti to tell us that they were handmade. It was a super embarrassing situation. All she had to do was ask if there was a problem with the first courses or if everything was okay, and we could have explained the situation. For our second course, we received the one included in the quick lunch menu: a chicken leg each with a side dish. We drank the house wine included in the menu and two small plastic bottles of water. The bill was €60, which was sheer madness for what we ate and the service. Recommended for local workers, but not for those looking for a different lunch.

05/10/2025: On the recommendation of a passerby, since everything in the area near the Salus hospital in Reggio Emilia was closed on Sunday lunchtime, we went to this restaurant for lunch...nice, clean. The waiter was friendly, but the prices and food were NOT! Fries were €5, but frozen. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, frozen!!!!! and full of oil (which I used to dip the bread, so it's less in the photo)...flavorless. The pizza was soft in the center, and the edges were very good because they were cooked just right. Cooked ham, NO! But shoulder... Luckily, I'm used to order a small amount to see if the food is good...and I was right! Service charge €2.50 each. 75cl water €3. I don't recommend it.
