20/04/2026: I had a pizza calzone with half a glass of water and a 375ml Sangiovese. It's good, and I'll definitely return. €19.50. I went after 10:30 PM without a reservation.

16/11/2025: I was reading reviews, but I'm surprised they say there are very few courses. Honestly, after the appetizers, I couldn't stand it anymore. The dishes were very good, and each course was a pleasant surprise. The staff was also very friendly and knew how to make you feel at ease.

The cured meats were excellent, the fried gnocco could be improved, the green tortelli, the ingredients were good but unfortunately they arrived lukewarm, the Lambrusco risotto was excellent. The wait between the appetizer and the main course was objectively too long, beyond any explanation. Kudos to the owner for offering a digestif and offering a small discount when the bill arrived. When we pass through Gualtieri again, we'll definitely be back.

20/12/2025: An unshakeable tradition of our hillside location, where panzerotti, gnocco, tigelle, and desserts are all made fresh on site, and even the cured meats (excellent) are locally sourced. A simple and welcoming place with fast, friendly service. A real plus was meeting Elia and sharing the evening with him. While they were driving home, we were already planning our return trip.

27/09/2025: Extremely hungry after a disastrous summer excursion to Martignano, we almost force ourselves to stop at the first osteria on the way, encouraged by the reviews. From the outside, we're not entirely convinced, but the interior is honest and welcoming; they seat us with a smile (we're off to a good start). The menu is displayed on a chalkboard and offers a good osteria-style selection of classics and Roman dishes. Some people add a first course, while I focus on a meat-based second course (a mixed grill) and a double side of sautéed potatoes and vegetables, washed down with Claudia water, which is locally sourced. The dishes arrive promptly, the service reserved but attentive, the dishes (based on the ones I've tried) are balanced and flavorful, each piece of meat perfectly cooked and the potatoes perfectly cooked. Finally, a satisfying experience on a day where everything went wrong due to the local disorganization... if only there were a hundred osterias!

07/03/2026: I had dinner at the Locanda last night and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent service and delicious food, especially the tagliata with rosemary and coarse salt (it melted in your mouth) and the sweet brick cake. We'll definitely be back!
