09/08/2025: Very nice and welcoming place suitable for families and companies, professional and friendly staff, good, as regards the menu for me the pizza is exceptional. even when cold the pizza remains crunchy and digestible. off the menu the seafood appetizer (cold) and the fried seafood for me good presentation and fresh, also off the menu are the green or pumpkin tortelli from (NONNA LEA DI QUATTRO CASTELLA-R.E) not bad I recommend them. And if you have an empty gut, I recommend you enjoy their desserts. I forgot that it has an extended summer table with 40 seats outside and 40 table seats inside, average prices.

07/02/2025: A historic venue in the heart of Reggio Emilia, I've been spending as much time there as possible since I discovered it. The staff are incredibly friendly, the focaccia delicious, and they have a huge selection of infusions and beers. Perfect for beer drinkers and non-drinkers alike. It's always busy on weekends, so reservations are recommended.

26/08/2025: The owner was confused and incompetent. The bill included a coffee for €2.50 and a long coffee for €4.00, which was billed as a double coffee. At the end, they asked us if we could shout out a nocino, we said yes, and then they made us pay for it.

23/08/2025: A typical Emilian trattoria serving local specialties. Generous and delicious portions. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Pet-friendly.

18/08/2025: It's a welcoming place and they serve good food. I STRONGLY advise against ordering cooked potatoes. I found the center of one potato RAW, so I ordered them with the rib. They filled me up with more potatoes than the rest of the food combined. The waiter (the one who looks like a pirate) didn't want me to order the rib, saying I wouldn't finish it. He was mean! Also, you have to raise your voice to speak. It was a bit loud, but that's fine. I'd gladly go back. I honestly recommend it. :)

08/06/2025: This morning for the first time I bought a small pastry cabaret at this shop. It was a magnificent experience of taste, but also visual. There is a wide choice, very fresh and quality products. Very tasty.

16/09/2025: Excellent mountain restaurant, very good dishes and excellent value. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the fried porcini mushrooms, and it was a shame that they were reservation-only, and the tiramisu was sold out. The mushroom lasagna was very good, however.

21/07/2025: We spent a pleasant evening with friends who introduced us to this inn with a beautiful view, nestled in the Reggio Emilia hills, where we can enjoy a refreshing breeze on a warm summer evening. The friendly service doesn't compromise on quality. Highly recommended.

08/07/2025: A place just a few kilometers from Reggio Emilia. Nestled in a cradle among the hills. Enchanting views and mild climate, even when Reggio Emilia is 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), so it's a good idea to bring a sweater for dinner. Traditional and very good food. Impeccable table service.

05/09/2025: The atmosphere and service are average, but the food was terrible. We had raw fish and an appetizer, and we both felt sick... Plus, it's very expensive.

31/08/2025: Unfortunately, for the first time, we were not satisfied... we ordered an appetizer that never arrived... After almost an hour, the two pizzas arrived. Mine was very good, but my partner's was unfortunately undercooked. The bill was correct, and the service was still courteous. We assume it was due to a bad night. The canned beer served was also a good month out of date. We'll be back anyway, because it's always been a reliable place.

16/08/2025: It's the classic trattoria bar you'd find in mountainous areas. It's surrounded by mountains, offering wonderful tranquility. The staff is extremely friendly and offers daily and à la carte menus, and can recommend the best dishes. A must-try, a place that will stay in your heart.

12/08/2025: If you love heartfelt, homemade cuisine, Il Poeta Contadino is the place to be. Here, the cappelletti and tortelli, rigorously homemade, have the aroma and flavor of times gone by: thin, fresh pasta, rich fillings, and sauces that tell stories of tradition. And then there's Nadia, the hostess: friendly, genuine, and always ready to put a smile on your face. With her, every table becomes a gathering of friends. A restaurant where you eat well and feel even better.

04/07/2025: Historic bar that has come back to life with the new management!!! Finally I add!! For breakfast almost a fixed stop when you choose a bar "on the street". Highly recommended!! The girls are all kind and easy-going!! A special mention for Giusy: very good, full steam ahead!!!

07/04/2025: Excellent dinner (as usual) A historic Mexican restaurant in the center of Reggio Emilia with a unique atmosphere. I've been here at least a hundred times, both for food and drinks, but this is the first time I've written a review. Unique atmosphere, excellent service. Extensive menu with a wide selection of dishes. The drinks are excellent, especially the Cuban and Hurricane. The chicken salad and tacos with their salsas are excellent.

15/03/2025: The tacos had no filling and tasted like spring rolls. They forgot to bring a drink to one person and I had set the table for two more people: we found ourselves sitting unpaired. Very noisy environment, we had to shout. I'm sorry because I was very fond of the place. I used to come here as a kid, but I definitely won't go back.

30/06/2025: It was a pleasant discovery, fantastic dishes and desserts... we will definitely come back to try the first courses!
