I migliori ristoranti in Parma

28/03/2025: Business lunch, three people, shared a plate of ham with schiacciatina and then a "light" dish each (in my case raw artichoke and parmesan salad), drank water. All good, very attentive and courteous service with the right timing, pleasant, well-kept, clean environment, but more than €100 for three people is definitely too much for a vegetable dish each.

16/03/2025: Minimal place, excellent pizza, but disappointing service. Unfortunately, the experience was compromised by the behavior of the waitress: while I was still eating, she proceeded to clear the table and asked exclusively my partner if he wanted to continue with something else, without waiting for me to finish my pizza too, completely ignoring me. After that, we never saw her again. We would have liked to continue with a dessert, a coffee or other options. A real shame, since the quality of the food deserves more attentive and respectful service.

13/08/2025: A welcoming, simple, and friendly place. Very interesting options for vegetarians and vegans (and those who eat meat or fish will also be catered to), with carefully prepared, beautiful, varied, and delicately flavored dishes. A truly delightful surprise in a somewhat remote area of Parma.

12/08/2025: The atmosphere is meticulously crafted with attention to detail, using colors and materials, quiet and very welcoming: an oasis of peace in the city. Upon entering, you immediately sense the wonderful aroma of fragrant, freshly baked bread, which is even more delicious once served. There's a wide selection of dishes, including traditional and vegetarian options. Everything we ordered absolutely met our expectations. The service is attentive and unrushed. The atmosphere is relaxed and rejuvenating. We'll be back to try what we missed this time. Definitely worth a try!

05/06/2025: Every time we go to visit my university son in Parma, we stop for breakfast at this bar: a wide selection of brioches, donuts, croissants, puff pastries, etc., excellent coffee and latte macchiato (more abundant than all the bars in the same area), excellent prices and fast, practical, kind and...cute girls! 27/10/2025: I'm giving 3 stars out of confidence because they're hardworking guys who have put themselves out there. Maybe as a pizzeria or burger joint, it's okay, but I can't judge. As a trattoria/restaurant, I'd give it less than 2 because we're just not up to scratch. They might have mistaken us for city folks, or who knows, but we're from the lowlands between Piacenza and Parma. We know all the products, and since we're also motorcyclists, we also know all the places in the surrounding hills. Yesterday, we didn't want to go far, and after seeing the ad at the racetrack, we said, "Let's try!" The 1-piece appetizer of cured meats for 1 cost 18 euros (4 slices 🤦🏻). They wouldn't even give it to us as an aperitif, so poor 🤦🏻. We already wanted to leave, but since we ordered tortelli, we thought maybe they'd make up for it. The trio of tortelli was good, but for 9 of us, we didn't even sit down at the table. The desserts were from a pizzeria, nothing homemade or hilly like homemade or bakery cakes, but they were still good. A half-pint of white wine in a carafe, a beer, and two coffees were €86. It would have been nice if they'd brought food, since everything was more or less good, but we woke up hungry for €86. Given the quantity, we refused to order a second course! You can't do everything, guys. Either you go for a trattoria-style meal (not at these prices/quantities, otherwise they'll crush you) or you go for a pizzeria and hamburger joint, which is fine.

26/10/2025: Dinner with friends, after a long time since I'd made a promise to go (and one I couldn't break!). The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, inspired by the motoring history of Varano de' Melegari. The service is always smiling and prompt, making you feel immediately at ease. Five of us had pizzas: excellent crust, not too salty, generous toppings, but just right. One of us tried the trio of homemade tortelli, made according to the season, and was pleased. I found a real treat, which I'm crazy about: the caramelized onions, excellent and always homemade. To finish, I recommend the fantastic tiramisu. What more can I say? You can successfully combine a clear passion for your craft and enthusiasm with dishes that make you want to return. Thanks for the wonderful evening!

12/09/2025: It was my first time eating at an Indian restaurant! The food was truly delicious and everything seemed fresh! We chose the menu that included appetizer + bread + main course + dessert. The appetizers were served with spicy, medium spicy, and sweet sauces. The bread was their own "focaccia" that was very flavorful and unique. The main course offered a choice of beef, lamb, chicken, or vegetarian; the beef was so tender it melted when picked up with a fork! The desserts were very delicate after eating such spicy food.

14/08/2025: Seriously the best butter chicken we've had in our lives. Small authentic local place. Highly recommended.

12/07/2025: My favorite bar, an outdoor setting shaded by the horse chestnut trees behind the church and in front of the fountain, a beautiful setting immersed in nature and history, right in the center of town. Hearty aperitifs, good beer, delicious ice cream. Ahhh, I'm home!

31/08/2025: Unfortunately, I wasn't able to order any ice cream because, being allergic to eggs, when I asked to know which flavors contained eggs and which didn't, the girl serving me asked her colleague, who very rudely told me (in frankly incomprehensible Italian) that it didn't matter, since everything was pasteurized (what the hell does that have to do with allergies???) and that it would be better if I just drank water. I don't usually write reviews like this, but I find it worrying to be snubbed in this way for something as serious as an allergy, which in the worst-case scenario can be fatal.

14/09/2025: If you are passing through Parma and want to discover Sicilian specialties, go to Du Zu Toto, believe me you will not be disappointed.
