The three of us went to eat at Fabrizio's in Chiavari. What a laugh. The food was all delicious, classic home cooking. He prepared pasta with pesto and ravioli with walnut sauce, and for our main course, a tender stew with potatoes and peas. Everything was delicious. I discovered this place thanks to the reviews, and I hope to return again. Afterwards, we chatted, and it was so much fun. Fabrizio, the owner, is a real hoot. Thanks for a lovely evening. 02/06/2025: Siamo andati in questo ristorante consigliati da un amico. Titolare gentile e locale accogliente. Abbiamo cenato nel dehor, piccolo ed arredato in modo essenziale. Primi piatti molto buoni, aniolini in brodo e tortelli alle erbette. Come secondo abbiamo scelto il filetto rosa di Parma con patente arrosto davvero squisito. Il tutto accompagnato da una bottiglia di buon Lambrusco Otello. Per finire la torta Susanna molto buona. Due note per la titolare: i bicchieri per l’acqua colorati nel dehor troppo alti e maggior presenza sul finire della cena. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto interessanti. Consigliato.
21/05/2025: Scovata questa trattoria nella guida della lonely planet che recita testualmente così: "Aperto negli anni ’50 del Novecento, questa osteria familiare ha un menu di piatti tipici che hanno ormai una lunga storia, ma non smettono di piacere. Assaggiate la buzéca, la famosa trippa alla parmigiana, i cappelletti e i tagliolini al ragout bianco di culatta, davvero ottimi!" Siamo stati accolti dalla proprietaria, una gradevolissima signora dai modi gentili, e siamo stati trattati benissimo. Tra i piatti assaggiati, la trippa, lo gnocco fritto, verdura al forno squisita e altro. Lo consiglio assolutamente per la tranquillità del posto, il senso di familiarità ed accoglienza, la qualità e genuinità del cibo ed anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo (meno di 30 euro a persona).

11/05/2026: We went for a birthday. We had a fixed menu. We started with fried tortelli and cured meats. The tortelli was perfect, and the cured meats were exceptional, a truly excellent choice. We started with pappardelle with wild boar, excellent. They didn't skimp on the wild boar sauce, nor on the perfection of the preparation. Second course, tortelli with herbs, waw waw waw waw waw My partner went crazy, and she's not the only one... the best I've ever tasted to date. (But it'll be hard to top them.) The second courses were excellent, flawless. Then the stracotto, a wonderful tasting experience, it melted in my mouth. They made me rediscover the flavors of traditional Parma. Accompanied by perfect roast potatoes. Quality wines. I'm planning a dinner to go back to try other dishes (and their desserts) and introduce my friends to them, because it's an exceptional place. NOW I TELL YOU, GO AND ENJOY THEIR DISHES. I'm sorry I don't have any photos to post, but I'll do so next time. The service was good, the staff were polite and smiling, not at all intrusive. The place was clean in every way. Then there's the lake, which is a great view while enjoying company and eating. Highly recommended.
