05/04/2025: Everything was superb from the service to lunch or dinner.....excellent pizzeria but also excellent cuisine.

09/02/2025: Esperienza pessima sotto ogni punto di vista. Il cibo era eccessivamente unto,tanto da risultare pesante e poco digeribile. Il locale era freddo e poco accogliente, rendendo la permanenza tutt'altro che piacevole. Il servizio è stato deludente: la cameriera sembrava inesperta e poco attenta alle esigenze dei clienti. Decisamente un posto in cui non tornerò mai più. Sconsigliato!

Les pâtes sont bonnes, le service est excellent: le serveur connaît son métier et les produits. Le midi, je recommande le menu qui est vraiment bon marché et succulent! Bravo et grazie !

26/12/2024: Oggi abbiamo pranzato in questa struttura: un antico mulino completamente e intelligentemente ristrutturato. L'occasione era festeggiare il mio cinquantesimo compleanno. Siamo andati in 8 adulti e un bambino di 9 anni. Menù: - antipasto con torta fritta e taglieri di salumi misti: culatello di Zibello Dop, spalla cruda di Palasone, coppa di Roncole Verdi, strolghino di Roncole Verdi, salame di Roncole Verdi e serviti in un'alzata di legno confettura di cipolle, crema di gorgonzola e mascarpone e giardiniera della casa; - primi: tagliolini fatti in casa con culatello e tosone (un parmigiano giovane) e tortelli d'erbetta e parmigiano di montagna di 40 mesi fatti in casa; - secondo: guancialino brasato con polenta. - gelato alla vaniglia fatto in casa servito su un tagliere in una coppa (generosissima) con abbinamento in scodelline a parte di zabaione, ciliegine sciroppate, cioccolato. Ogni commensale aveva le sue porzioni anche di abbinamenti. Acqua, vino e caffè inclusi nella quota pro-capite. E' stata una piacevolissima esperienza, accolti dalla gentilezza e professionalità del personale. Le porzioni sono abbondantissime, ma ogni piatto è molto curato (la maggior parte degli ingredienti viene prodotto in casa), primi e secondi vengono serviti su grandi vassoi e ogni commensale si serve liberamente. Fatico a trovare un piatto migliore di un altro, ma se proprio devo sbilanciarmi "sul podio" metterei: 1) tortelli, 2) guancialini con polenta, 3) gelato con creme da abbinare. Ho particolarmente gradito il fatto che il personale propone per primo di mettere le pietanze avanzate in tapperware da portare a casa evitando spiacevoli richieste di noi clienti...(lo so che sarebbe obbligatorio ma molte strutture fanno finta di niente) Il conto è assolutamente equo per la qualità e la quantità delle portate. Infine la location: antica struttura rurale rimessa a nuovo ma lasciando quell'atmosfera di antico (pavimenti in cotto, scale in legno, canaline di rame a vista, legno a profusione, antichi strumenti da cucina esposti qua e là e la possibilità per tutti i clienti di visitare la cantina dei culatelli (suggestiva per occhi e naso...) Tutto questo a pochi passi dalla casa natale di Giuseppe Verdi che si trova di fronte al ristorante e direttamente accessibile a piedi. Per noi che abitiamo a Parma questa Osteria Vecchio Mulino sarà un posto di riferimento!

23/12/2024: tutto ottimo il cibo, riso alle erbette, tagliolini al culatello di zibello, battuta di fassona e sbriciolata allo zabaione, Ottimo servizio e bel locale accanto alla casa natale di Giuseppe Verdi.

19/03/2025: First time in many years of lunches and dinners away from home that a pizza presented after 50 minutes of waiting (pre-announced but still 50 minutes) arrives burnt with a charcoal flavour. You try to eat a piece but then point it out to the waiter to have it redone. But the pizza chef shows up with his anything but clean coat which he claims was made in the Neapolitan style: a nice discussion arises which fortunately ends well. For the record, the lady at the next table tells us that her pizza was also burnt and that they had remade it for her. Pizza not charged, discount and apology received.

06/04/2025: I had already had the opportunity to try the excellence of the creations of this pastry shop, yesterday I picked up a cake (the three chocolates...) for a birthday and it was the reconfirmation of the exceptional nature and quality of their products.... The cake, much appreciated, was truly "to faint"..... Congratulations...!!!
