21/08/2025: Extraordinary experience. A family atmosphere and food prepared according to the Parmesan tradition. Everything homemade. Extraordinary anolini in brodo. Delicious cutlets with salami ragù. The roast beef was truly incredible. Delicious tiramisu. If you want a lunch or dinner to remember, don't hesitate to make a reservation. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: Excellent pizza, fast service, a cozy place, and fair prices. Mouthwash in the restroom is a good idea for those who want to continue their evening. Highly recommended!!!

25/10/2025: Amazing pizza!! We ordered two takeout pizzas, each one better than the last. Unique combinations that brought out the flavors of the ingredients, and a light dough, just like in Naples. I highly recommend the Decisa and the d'Alterio 2.0. I can't wait to go back!!

02/08/2025: This little bar, where we recently stopped after arriving in Montechiarugolo, is truly excellent. Arriving around 11:00 a.m., we ordered a macchiato and a coffee ☕, also opting for a brioche 🥐 and a Sicilian cannoli (delicious) that were beautifully displayed behind the counter. The staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The bathrooms 🚽 were tidy. The location is strategic, given that the establishment is near the castle. I definitely recommend it 👍. 09/10/2025: We stayed next to this restaurant for a month in Parma and ate here a couple of times. It is a decent place for a quick meal and some people watching, but not one of the better restaurants in the area. The food was fine, just not very memorable. With so many great options within a short walk, this one is good for convenience but not a must-try spot.

28/09/2025: Excellent pizza and fast, but above all, courteous and helpful service. I've had good pizza in a few places in Parma, and Al Faro is one of them! The food is excellent, too.

22/09/2025: Couples' dinner on Saturday night. We booked a table for two on their website at 8:30 PM. We ordered at 8:45 PM. At 9:45 PM, nothing had arrived, but some families who had arrived after us were almost finished. We mentioned this to the waiters, who reassured us. But from their conversations, we easily learned that they'd forgotten our order. Then came the worst of the problems. The mixed fried fish was acceptable for me, but my girlfriend's tagliata was completely raw. A tagliata fit for a wolf, certainly not for a human. Most of it was discarded. At this point, the waiter offered to remake the dish, but they didn't remake it; they simply reheated the part that hadn't been discarded. In effect, we ate half the tagliata. Given the situation, we refused to order dessert and coffee despite the waiter's insistence; I would have expected at least a free limoncello or amaro, but instead nothing, not even a discount at the cashier, who we told about the situation after the usual "Is everything okay?" It's a shame because I've always enjoyed this historic restaurant, but I seriously doubt I'll ever return. You don't treat people this way.

16/10/2025: Went for my daughter's graduation, fast, courteous and helpful service...pets allowed (also because there were 3 veterinary graduation celebrations going on).

23/08/2025: Not the easiest place to get to, but it's worth it. It feels like you're stepping into a corner of history, right where it is located. The view from the terrace is spectacular. The food is authentic, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

24/08/2025: Stellar pastries, bought this morning. I was amazed twice: once when the pastry chef told me the price was €3.90 (a very fair price) and again when we ate them. Fantastic, delicious, and high-quality. Next time I'll buy 50!!

02/09/2025: Very quiet atmosphere, outside of Parma's city center; there's a parking lot nearby. I was pleasantly surprised by the mixed raw fish appetizer, which was truly high quality and had a wide variety. They even explained the best order to eat everything, so we could fully savor the dish. Next, I had a tuna steak, which was incredibly fresh and also very generous. Good value; if you expect high-quality raw fish, you can't pay the same price as at an all-you-can-eat restaurant! This place in Parma is definitely a must-try if you want quality fresh fish. Recommended

20/08/2025: We went to Meme during the hot August holiday week. The raw seafood was excellent. The menu and off-menu options were very interesting. The three of us were able to sample several dishes. The combinations were fresh and very pleasant. The diced tuna and scallops were absolutely mouth-watering! Definitely worth trying!
