05/09/2025: The first time we went, we didn't have a bad time: the tortelloni with porcini mushrooms were very good, and the gnocco and tigelle weren't amazing but passable. But this time, we just couldn't get it right: the tortellini in broth, unfortunately, had a strange flavor, which we didn't like, both the tortellino and the broth. We couldn't tell if the cutlet was packaged or if it was homemade but reheated in the microwave!!! It was dry and tough. The mushroom fillet, on the other hand, was quite good, a little thin but cooked just right. The fried mushrooms were good. I don't think we'll be back. With all the inns and trattorias in the mountains, I don't like to risk eating like this, on classic menus. Especially since we spent almost €30 each with water and one beer only, and no desserts.

30/08/2025: An excellent trattoria for a quick and affordable lunch. A little off the beaten path, but the view is worth the trip. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about: simple and excellent quality. And for that price, congratulations!

28/12/2025: I booked for three nights, but I actually only stayed one because the room didn't have heating; they only had air conditioning. You couldn't fit in the bathroom, making it impossible to sleep. Heating is essential in December in Modena, with temperatures 0 degrees Celsius at night. I was speechless, and I even got sick. Do you have the nerve to call me a scammer because I asked you for a refund? Here I am at the Rechigi Hotel, having paid €400 for the other two nights. I couldn't stay with you because you're a complete disgrace as a hotel and as a staff member. Now I'm having you undergo a health check by the local health authority because there's not even hygiene standards. I just wanted to be nice and not go into too much detail. The breakfast was mind-numbing, you don't know what hygiene is. Now I'm done. From now on, talk to my lawyer.

20/12/2025: We had lunch on a Sunday with friends. The hotel isn't a restaurant, but it offers lunch to small groups. The atmosphere is simple, but the staff is welcoming. Attentive service. The first and second courses and desserts were delicious. Enjoy your visit.

18/05/2025: The outside is attractive, but the inside is horrendous. Terrible furniture (some chairs are the same as the ones I have in the garage). The non-alcoholic aperitifs are very sweet, tasteless and the glass is 3/4 full of ice. We asked the waiter to remove the ice, he took the glass away and brought it back still full of ice 😡 Not to mention the freshness of the food 🤮Absolutely to be discarded.

14/03/2026: A rather disappointing experience. The place is essentially a tobacconist's with two tables set up, but the prices don't reflect this at all. Paying €8 for two simple fried eggs seemed really excessive to me. Also, be careful with the prices listed, as they don't reflect reality. The cover charge was supposed to be €2, but we ended up paying €2.50, and the spritz was supposed to be €3.50, but a spritz is still water, so we paid €10. Overall, the final bill was surprisingly high considering the quality and the ambiance, which unfortunately bordered on squalid. The staff, with the exception of one very kind and helpful blonde lady, was quite rude. Overall, an experience I wouldn't recommend.

14/12/2025: Terrible experience We booked this restaurant for Valentine's Day, and the wait was truly insane! The place wasn't very crowded, and all the tables in the dining room seemed booked, given the centerpieces with names on them. Yet we waited over an hour for the first course, and another 40 minutes for the second course... and it wasn't just our table! The entire dining room couldn't wait to leave. Timing aside, I was cold the entire evening (we were seated on the veranda). We ate decently, and spent far too much for the dishes we ordered and the experience we had.

25/07/2025: Two vegan pinsas for €11 each. If they had also included plant-based cheese (there are many and they're delicious, so you can add it), then I would have understood the price, but since they're just two pinsas filled with cherry tomatoes, broccoli rabe, and pumpkin cream, I really don't see anything special. Too expensive. Never again!

20/06/2025: I took the pinsa several times and it stayed on my stomach for a long time. I tried the hamburgers, one time the order was wrong and the other time the hamburger was completely raw.

22/03/2026: On March 13th, my niece Daniela Palomo left her suitcase at this establishment's luggage storage service, which is run by Bounce. When she went to pick up her suitcase, she found her makeup bag open and a Dior contour stick stolen. This establishment has not yet responded to this serious incident. THEFT FROM CUSTOMERS' SUITCASES NOT RECOMMENDED FOR EATING OR STORING SUITCASES

22/03/2026: On March 13, my cousin Daniela Palomo left her luggage in the lockers of this establishment and several things were stolen from her.

20/06/2025: We went to this place for the first time, we ordered the courgette flowers, they were all pasta and little flower, without mozzarella and anchovies like they do in Rome, the carbonara left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth that I couldn't finish, the tonnarelli, they took them by mistake to another table, then once they recovered them they gave them to us, by now lukewarm, poor organization, given the experience with the first courses, we didn't want to order anything else, I had high expectations but I was very disappointed.

15/05/2025: We had dinner with friends, the fried food was delicious and not greasy, the appetizer was a flask with lots of excellent ingredients, the cacio e pepe, gnocchi alla Gricia and amatriciana, all excellent, we will gladly return and I recommend it.

06/03/2026: I've been here twice during my stay in Fanano. The staff has always been extremely helpful, kind, and friendly, so no complaints there. The location is beautiful, and perhaps because it's low season, I didn't encounter any problems. The food was excellent; both the tortellini in broth and the truffle tortellini were truly amazing, though the polenta with wild boar was a bit less so, which, to be honest, was quite bland. As for desserts, nothing particularly good; the sweet salami wasn't anything special and was so hard it was almost impossible to eat with cutlery. Otherwise, I appreciated the courtesy of the waitress while you waited, and the amaro at the end of the meal, which was clearly artisanal and well-made. In my opinion, this is a place that, with just a few tweaks, could become perfect! I'll be back.
