23/06/2026: Buffet menu: excellent value, with a wide variety of food options: hot and cold, raw, and fried. You can also choose grilled dishes.

26/05/2026: The buffet was filled with stale food, fruit that was practically dried out, and meat that tasted like plastic. I'll never go back; the food was truly subpar for the price.

28/06/2026: I went to Ristorante Max for my birthday. It was recommended to me because of Stefano's mastery of cooking all kinds of food. I ordered paella and we were all amazed when a pan of exclusive paella arrived. Spanish rice, lots of seafood, large prawns, and enormous scallops. It was exquisite, and we all ordered three plates... a unique experience. The fried food and vegetables were equally as delicious. Highly recommended!

10/06/2026: Located in San Damaso, near Modena Sud, the restaurant is housed in the multipurpose hall (which explains its simple, oratory-style layout). The food is surprisingly good: excellent Modenese dishes and Tyrolean fare with generous portions. It's a shame the experience was ruined by the owners' attitude: unwelcoming and gratuitous rudeness that, frankly, discourages returning. I'm giving it the lowest score because, no matter how good the food, respect for the customer should come first.

08/05/2026: Okay, I'll start by saying that finding a hair in the dough is a daily occurrence, and besides, the new sales assistant served me a slice of pizza. And I weighed it on the scale with the bag and napkins to increase the weight.

17/05/2026: I stock up on the gas cylinder for the BBQ...nothing to say...maybe the price is a little high...Very kind and friendly owner...always available and courteous

12/04/2026: I purchased these flavorizer bars from them, and they performed excellently on first use. Even with very fatty meats, which usually cause flare-ups that are difficult to manage, they did their job admirably. It's clear they're a well-crafted, artisanal product. We'll see how they perform over time, but for now, congratulations!

11/03/2026: The bar changed ownership some time ago, and the name BAR Sonia was added to the previous name, Frenesia. The new owners, along with the old owner, have settled in perfectly, and the quality and quantity of the products have remained unchanged. Of course, the kitchen also offers traditional Chinese dishes. I had a great time.

03/07/2026: I don't mind Burger King food. It's a bit pricey for junk food, but at least there's plenty of it. The only thing that lets it down is the location...which sucks.

28/12/2025: I booked for three nights, but I actually only stayed one because the room didn't have heating; they only had air conditioning. You couldn't fit in the bathroom, making it impossible to sleep. Heating is essential in December in Modena, with temperatures 0 degrees Celsius at night. I was speechless, and I even got sick. Do you have the nerve to call me a scammer because I asked you for a refund? Here I am at the Rechigi Hotel, having paid €400 for the other two nights. I couldn't stay with you because you're a complete disgrace as a hotel and as a staff member. Now I'm having you undergo a health check by the local health authority because there's not even hygiene standards. I just wanted to be nice and not go into too much detail. The breakfast was mind-numbing, you don't know what hygiene is. Now I'm done. From now on, talk to my lawyer.

20/12/2025: We had lunch on a Sunday with friends. The hotel isn't a restaurant, but it offers lunch to small groups. The atmosphere is simple, but the staff is welcoming. Attentive service. The first and second courses and desserts were delicious. Enjoy your visit.

05/09/2025: The first time we went, we didn't have a bad time: the tortelloni with porcini mushrooms were very good, and the gnocco and tigelle weren't amazing but passable. But this time, we just couldn't get it right: the tortellini in broth, unfortunately, had a strange flavor, which we didn't like, both the tortellino and the broth. We couldn't tell if the cutlet was packaged or if it was homemade but reheated in the microwave!!! It was dry and tough. The mushroom fillet, on the other hand, was quite good, a little thin but cooked just right. The fried mushrooms were good. I don't think we'll be back. With all the inns and trattorias in the mountains, I don't like to risk eating like this, on classic menus. Especially since we spent almost €30 each with water and one beer only, and no desserts.

30/08/2025: An excellent trattoria for a quick and affordable lunch. A little off the beaten path, but the view is worth the trip. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about: simple and excellent quality. And for that price, congratulations!

19/10/2025: What a lovely surprise! The fixed-price menu for €30 was truly amazing. The staff were friendly, and the owner even let us go into her woods to pick chestnuts. 👍

01/09/2025: 5 stars overall for their commitment to making guests as happy as possible. The place is basic, and as other reviews have noted, it's a little difficult to reach the rooms by car, but the friendliness of the family far outweighs this small inconvenience. I stayed with my family this weekend and would return tomorrow.

06/07/2026: We've been several times; the piadinas are passable, but there are much better options out there, especially in this part of Italy. Last night, they outdid themselves in terms of unprofessionalism: the staff were truly unfriendly and put you off eating. We ordered two cassoni: the dough was awful, the sealing was poor, the filling tasted like nothing, and the surface was BURNED. We won't be returning.

28/06/2026: Excellent piadinas (many recipes, quality ingredients), large hot dog, and a clean atmosphere, including a bathroom. Great for a quick lunch like today.

18/07/2026: Not just any coffee. Stefano is truly a master. Modena's one and only true coffee master.

20/04/2026: I love this coffee, I bought it and brought it back with me to Vicenza, my car smelled of coffee for a week 🙏
