12/07/2026: Not suitable for shipping. I ordered fresh products well in advance, asking if they could ship them to an Italian city. I was told they offered this service without any problems. The package was shipped without a refrigerated box, thinking that the winter climate would keep the products well preserved, with a random courier (I point out that the products should have maintained the cold chain)! Lost, who knows where it arrived. It arrived 11 days later with all the food spoiled. The products had been placed in plastic take-out trays, without either refrigerated compartments or a suitable box. Never went back. Obviously I had already paid for everything, but I never returned, and I never will. Much vaunted and historic in the area, but in my opinion only the fresh pasta and the first courses are good. The second courses are very, very simple; for those who know how to cook, there's nothing special. The staff is kind and retro, however.

10/07/2025: I attended a wedding at Martelli's, not my first time there, and as always, the service was impeccable. The kindness of the staff is the heart of the venue. We were served a variety of dishes, considering there were so many of us, and the quality and attention to detail were excellent. There was an open bar by the pool, and with dips, cocktails, and fireworks, the evening ended magnificently, leaving everyone with wonderful memories. If you're getting married, this is definitely a place worth a visit.

19/10/2025: The manager is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Great for aperitifs, with a good selection of beers. The parking lot isn't very spacious, but it's located right in front with a view. They're very helpful at all hours. A pleasant and enjoyable stop, we'll definitely be back.

20/11/2025: 100% rude and after a complaint they hung up the phone, the only thing that was good was the Fanta because they didn't make it!!!

06/10/2025: PIZZA was very good, but the staff adds a surcharge without prior arrangement.

11/08/2026: Exceptional burgers. Very, very good pizza. And the pasta dishes are equally good! The burgers require a bit of a wait, but they're worth it.

21/07/2026: The food and service were good, but the place isn't air-conditioned, so they have to keep the windows open because of the heat, unfortunately attracting flies and wasps. It's a shame, because the place has potential!

08/04/2026: The ice cream is very good, especially the zuppa inglese flavor, but the service behind the counter is much less so. All in all, the other flavors are also ok.

16/02/2026: Top ice cream, the best!!! Clean location, excellent cakes and semifreddos! Top owners, friendly and kind!!

21/02/2026: Overall, the experience was okay, the staff were friendly, and the wait was short. The pizza was a little salty, some a little burned, and the gnocchi were cold. The desserts were okay, but the panna cotta needs a rethink.

19/07/2026: Pianino Montanaro is excellent for those who enjoy savory breakfasts. Good value, very helpful service. The waiter, Alberto, is particularly noteworthy for his friendliness. In conclusion, this is the best place for breakfast when you're in Fanano.

03/06/2026: We were invited for a baptism on a very hot Sunday. It was a real pleasure to eat outside, sheltered from the sun, in a beautiful location with the option of music! The menu included many very good first courses, and then for everyone, gnocco and tigelle with good cold cuts.

14/02/2026: We were there for the second time and it was quite disappointing, the starter was poor for the price, tagliatelle with duck ragù and tortelli verdi were good, the tagliatelle unfortunately, unlike the first time, had an unpleasant aftertaste.

28/07/2026: I've been to this place several times, both for coffee and an aperitif. It's under new Chinese management, and the staff is always courteous and helpful. The food quality is decent, and it seems they've retained some of the previous owners' offerings. The place is also recommended for a quick lunch, thanks to the kitchen offering hot food. Overall, a pleasant and informal place, ideal for a quick break or an aperitif.

16/07/2026: Run by Chinese guys, the lady is kind and welcoming. We didn't really like the croissants, though, even though they're average. The coffee is okay.

11/03/2026: Very racist bartender treats me coldly just because I have black skin. A few minutes before he was smiling with other white people!

20/05/2026: The staff were always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was rather meager, but the coffee was awful. The rooms were fairly clean, though there were several stains on the bed. Whenever the cleaning staff had been, the smell of chlorine was very strong. Unfortunately, there were no outdoor seating options, and the place was very dirty.

14/06/2026: A truly beautiful and historic bar in Carpi! Always well stocked and the food is truly delicious, especially the pizza. The staff is always very kind, friendly, and helpful.

05/07/2026: Terrible on a Sunday. I ask for a trio of first courses. She says tortelloni with butter and sage, gramigna, and penne all'arrabbiata. Penne all'arrabbiata for Sunday lunch, but shame on you. Let's skip the second courses, but thanks for ruining my Sunday. I 100% don't recommend it.

25/05/2026: The 4-star food rating is the average between the 3-star first courses (tagliatelle and porcini mushroom risotto) and the 5-star crescentine (or tigelle, for us, people from the Modena plains) with cheeses and cold cuts. It's a place for business lunches, with an excellent quality-price ratio.

25/06/2026: Unfortunately, the room I was assigned was one of the worst I've ever stayed in. Calling it "small" is an understatement: it was extremely cramped, lacking air conditioning and mosquito nets, making the room a veritable oven. The bathroom was tiny, probably just over a square meter: using the toilet meant you were practically forced to rest your arm on the sink, which was also tiny. To make matters worse, the bathroom had a persistent smell of urine, reminiscent of a restroom at a service station or on a train. I explained my discomfort, hoping for a solution or at least some understanding. Instead, I was told I was being "pretentious" and advised to look for another hotel more suited to my needs. This attitude I found unprofessional and decidedly attack-oriented rather than seeking a solution. I had never been treated this way. It's a real shame, because there are many positives: the breakfast is impeccable and the location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the center and a minute from the Palazzetto. However, the overall experience was severely compromised by the quality of the room and the handling of my complaints.

15/06/2026: Recently renovated, it's well-presented, clean, and tidy. It's located practically in the center of Fanano. The staff is courteous and friendly. The breakfast is good, with savory, sweet, and cake options. We'll definitely return.
