Head down to Ji Xiang for some delicious stomach filling delicious Chinese dishes! ordered Braised Beef noodles, Pig large intestines with rice and Ma Po Tofu which taste great especially on a cold foggy day in Modena. Accepts MasterCard. No reservations needed. The place is plain and simple and has a fish tank for feng shui.

30/12/2025: Here you can find the best Chinese food in Modena. The girl at the counter was very kind. The food was delicious. It was like being in China.

02/12/2025: Pizzeria with contemporary cuisine in a modern and relaxing atmosphere. Pizza with a thick crust and well-topped toppings: truly delicious! The restaurant has a couple of rooms and an outdoor patio. Prices are average for gourmet pizzerias.

30/11/2025: The waiters were very nice and friendly. The place was nice and well-kept, but we were very cold throughout the dinner. The pizzas didn't live up to our expectations; they were dry, poorly topped (the Modena had no parmesan shavings, and the Pompei had excessively cold stracciatella), and the pizzas got cold quickly. We did enjoy the desserts, however, although the bill, which, without wine but only a bottle of water and a Coke, was too salty...€62 for two (two squares of mozzarella in carrozza for €8.50).

12/10/2025: I ordered three kebab pizzas for delivery. Do you remember the pizza base? No mozzarella, nothing, just tomato. And the kebab meat is all dry and inedible. If you don't know how to make kebab pizza, don't make it. I highly recommend it.

11/01/2026: I always get home delivery (to work), and 2 out of 3 times the pizza doesn't arrive sliced, even though I always ask for it (in fact, the receipt the delivery man brings says "sliced"). I think I won't order pizza from you again, especially because €8.50 for a Margherita seems excessive. Update: I gave this pizzeria another chance, ordering a SLICED Margherita, and nothing. Apparently they don't have a pizza cutter. From 2 stars to 1 😁

11/01/2026: Six of my friends and I went on a Saturday night with a reservation at 8:30 PM. The pizzas arrived after about an hour and a half. My friend's sausage was completely raw. When we pointed this out, they kindly made us another. To make up for it, they offered desserts and limoncello to the men at the table behind us. While we, perhaps because we were younger, were only offered limoncello, they didn't offer any discount at the register. I feel very sorry for the waiters, who were very kind and polite, but an hour and a half for a pizza is really too much!

15/08/2025: I gave a gift certificate (for two dinners) to this restaurant, which I'd visited several times and always found to be excellent. The owner, Rossella (Rosa Lafronza), also always seemed very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, three months after the gift, the restaurant closed permanently, and upon my request, Rossella very hastily informed me that she couldn't refund the certificate in any way, given the closure; not even privately. Clearly, some doubts arise, given the proximity of the voucher and the closure. It would have been more appropriate not to provide the vouchers, in my opinion, or to advise people to use them as soon as possible. Instead, the money (€80) was taken, without giving them the opportunity to use it and without even offering a private refund. It's a shame, the experience ruins a fond memory of a special restaurant and a seemingly honest person.

24/03/2025: Credo che questo locale sia sottovalutato forse a causa dei prezzi troppo alti un pasticciotto 5 € è follia o un semplice caffe leccese a 3 €. I piatti sono ben preparati con ottimi ingredienti. Ma la vera "perla" sono le combinazioni che finalmente non sono BANALI. Ho trovato locali dove la parola Salento veniva associato a polpo e buratta dove le combinazioni erano le più disperate solo per attirare l'occhio sul menù. Qui tutto questo non accade è già solo questo è un punto in più. Rivedrei il menù perché a mio avviso è un po' povero di piatti e rivedrei un po' i prezzi. Ma per il resto io ci tornerei.

19/10/2025: What a lovely surprise! The fixed-price menu for €30 was truly amazing. The staff were friendly, and the owner even let us go into her woods to pick chestnuts. 👍

01/09/2025: 5 stars overall for their commitment to making guests as happy as possible. The place is basic, and as other reviews have noted, it's a little difficult to reach the rooms by car, but the friendliness of the family far outweighs this small inconvenience. I stayed with my family this weekend and would return tomorrow.

26/09/2025: Lovely staff, simple cuisine but very fresh produce. Convenient location 2 minutes from the Novi Park parking lot. I highly recommend it.
