29/04/2026: Passing through Pievepelago, my wife and I dined at this trattoria based on the good reviews on Google Maps.
The atmosphere is rather dated, the staff is very friendly, and the service is prompt.
The menu isn't extensive, but it features typical local dishes. The tortellini in broth and pasta e fagioli are delicious. The beef braised in red wine is a must-try, and finally, the stracchino della duchessa is a must-try.
Good value for money.
07/02/2026: We recently had lunch at this restaurant, particularly appreciating the authenticity of the raw materials used. Arriving around 12:30 🕧, we were warmly greeted by the young man 🧑🏻 at the counter who immediately accompanied us to an open table. He quickly handed us the menus 📋 and took our drink order (a couple of bottles of water 💧, one still and the other sparkling). In the end, we opted for two first courses (tagliatelle with meat sauce 🍝 and pappardelle with hare) and a couple of side dishes. To finish, two desserts (crème brulee) and a coffee ☕. Everything was really very good 😋 and well-cooked, especially considering the quality of the basic ingredients (the hare meat was exquisite). The service wasn't quite up to par (a few snags here and there), but overall it was sufficient. The overall atmosphere is relaxing and homey. Prices are reasonable. The bathrooms 🚾, although clean and tidy 🚽🧻🧴, could perhaps use a refresh. The location is strategic, as the property is right in the center along the main pedestrian street 🚶🏻♂️. We liked it, so we recommend it 👍.
