24/09/2025: Rude restaurant staff, one in particular. At 12:40, we asked if there was room for three people. He dismissed us by saying he didn't have time because the place was full and he didn't have time to waste, in an annoyed tone, turning his back and walking away.
14/09/2025: The only star goes to the manager. The food is good, the service is competent, and this deserves five stars, but as long as this person is there, I won't be returning.

02/11/2025: We stopped at this restaurant after visiting the Salvarola spa. It's a nice restaurant, but the black walls are a bit heavy, and the cables dangling behind the TV in the dining room are unsightly. Otherwise, there are some very nice, large, round tables, and overall it's a pleasant place to be. The dining room features a large fireplace/wood-fired oven where the meat is cooked, and a refrigerated display case displaying the cuts of meat that will be cooked. It should be noted that the food here is meat, and we only touched it with a chicken skewer, so this review is based primarily on the starters and the single skewer we ordered. We ordered 1 plate of tagliatelle with meat sauce (good, fresh pasta and a satisfying portion, although a little overcooked) €13, 1 tagliatelle with mushrooms (unfortunately classic mushrooms in oil, so they failed) €14, 1 chicken skewer with 5 pieces, 4 of which were wings, so very little meat, but cooked well on the grill, presented with a few leaves of wilted lettuce and a few diced tomatoes (the dish needs reviewing for quantity and presentation) €10, 2 portions of baked potatoes (good and generous) €8, 2 bottles of water and 1 coffee, all €57; for our quality/quantity/price standards, the prices are high, the quantity of the first courses is good for a dish that is already a lot at €9, the chicken skewers failed for quantity, removing the bones and no more than 2 forkfuls of meat (and we also eat the skin, otherwise...), the quantity of goodness of the baked potatoes was excellent; At the end, we were offered a liqueur. I consider this review only partial because I didn't eat meat, which seems to me to be the raison d'être of this restaurant. I'll complete it once we've experienced the full culinary experience.

31/07/2025: Introduction: The pizza was ordered on a Thursday evening, so it's assumed that, since it wasn't Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, there wasn't enough traffic to justify errors on all the pizzas ordered. Furthermore, when I called the restaurant to report the error on all the pizzas, the response I received was: "Oh, but you paid the same price anyway!" The problem isn't so much the fact that I paid the same price, but rather the fact that if I order pizzas with toppings of my choice and pay for them based on those preferences, I expect to receive exactly those pizzas, not prepared to your liking. Finally, I should point out that the tomato sauce was particularly acidic.
26/07/2025: I've been eating pizza here for years. Deliveries are always on time, they never mess up the pizza, and all the ingredients are cooked perfectly! Never had any problems. I recommend it to everyone!

22/08/2025: Lunch experience, we were the only ones in the place. The place is old but clean, like we'd been transported back to 1985. The owner, the only person present, doesn't have a menu, but she says it verbally, omitting the prices. Take it or leave it. The lasagna for starters is decent, while the pork ribs are excellent. The gnocco fritto and crescentine are acceptable. The homemade dessert is not bad, and the coffee is forgettable. As for the bill, it's up to the old lady; I recommend a compliment between courses to get through it unscathed. I don't think I'll repeat the experience.

15/08/2025: I gave a gift certificate (for two dinners) to this restaurant, which I'd visited several times and always found to be excellent. The owner, Rossella (Rosa Lafronza), also always seemed very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, three months after the gift, the restaurant closed permanently, and upon my request, Rossella very hastily informed me that she couldn't refund the certificate in any way, given the closure; not even privately. Clearly, some doubts arise, given the proximity of the voucher and the closure. It would have been more appropriate not to provide the vouchers, in my opinion, or to advise people to use them as soon as possible. Instead, the money (€80) was taken, without giving them the opportunity to use it and without even offering a private refund. It's a shame, the experience ruins a fond memory of a special restaurant and a seemingly honest person.
24/03/2025: Credo che questo locale sia sottovalutato forse a causa dei prezzi troppo alti un pasticciotto 5 € è follia o un semplice caffe leccese a 3 €. I piatti sono ben preparati con ottimi ingredienti. Ma la vera "perla" sono le combinazioni che finalmente non sono BANALI. Ho trovato locali dove la parola Salento veniva associato a polpo e buratta dove le combinazioni erano le più disperate solo per attirare l'occhio sul menù. Qui tutto questo non accade è già solo questo è un punto in più. Rivedrei il menù perché a mio avviso è un po' povero di piatti e rivedrei un po' i prezzi. Ma per il resto io ci tornerei.
