24/03/2025: We stopped for a few beers. But you can't see a Moretti beer costing €5 in a small village, especially when 3 people have 10 beers. Sitting at a dirty and dusty plastic table.

17/05/2025: Sorry for the products that are good but the staff is not up to the task of dealing with the public! I have 15 years of experience in retail and I would never have dreamed of making people get up from the table, among other things speaking to each other in dialect that I understand better than them, saying "they haven't understood yet", but I understood very well, I also asked if they were closing, it was 11.30, answer, we close at 13! Among other things I had also asked if I could pay after the consumption because I would have had to take other things to take away that obviously I didn't take! A piece of advice, it's the customers who make you raise the shutter in the morning! Take care of them!

25/06/2025: I thought I would eat well but unfortunately it wasn't like that. The place itself is nice, it's okay that it's a trattoria but I expected better service... what a shame.

18/06/2025: Very nice, cozy, and quiet place in one of the narrow streets in the old town. The vine was great, as well as the Archers spritz.
I recommend this place for couples.

Compared to the last time we were there we noticed a disproportionate difference in the bill, we had two pastries, a coffee and a juice and we spent about €15, it's okay that everything has increased but it seems really too much for a breakfast.

I went there twice and both times I always found good pastries especially the pistachio croissant, I highly recommend it.
27/05/2025: 14 euros for 2 glasses of prosecco, without any accompanying appetizers (except for 2 4 cm diameter bowls with peanuts and crisps) is a steal... Maybe it was Saturday night, that Modena has become a hub of international tourism, but we are outside every rule (and also ethics)!!

15/03/2025: The quality of the food is truly one of the worst I have ever tried in a canteen. The boiled vegetables are repeated, always the same, for several consecutive days. They taste rotten and when you tell them politely they don't even take them out of the container. In general, little cleanliness, little attention to the portions because for the first courses they are too abundant while for the second courses the portion borders on sufficiency.

28/05/2025: Of all the dishes that once could be chosen, now the only accessible options for those looking for something balanced are cold dishes or pasta in bianco. It's a real shame, because the initial quality was good, but it has significantly worsened. Today the dishes are covered with exaggerated quantities of oil that cancel out the flavors: everything is seasoned excessively, the oil dominates every course, making it heavy, unbalanced and often the first or second course inedible.
The reports made several times on this matter have not led to any concrete result and, from the way I was answered, it is clear that I am not the only one to have complained.
08/04/2025: First raw pizza, brought back I propose 2 completely burnt slices.
I obviously refused without any compensation

13/06/2025: Great location because it is inside a shopping center with many activities ... convenient because it is large ... very kind staff
But there is a but .....
The tables ... the seats all dirty .... there must be an employee in the room even 2 .... everything stank I had to clean the table and armchair with wet tissues that I always have in my bag and sanitizer ... this is unacceptable ... it was about 6.15 pm arriving in the evening what becomes worse?
I recommend greater attention ....

19/10/2024: Classic canteen, nothing more. There are many repetitive dishes and some with little care, but overall once you learn what to eat you eat quite well.

Absolute rudeness, little predisposition to facilitate the customer and rudeness of the staff make the experience in this place really bad!!
28/04/2025: Giornata tra amiche, entriamo e chiediamo se possiamo sederci (domanda di cortesia visto che il bar era vuoto). Cameriera maleducata e incapace di fare il suo lavoro ci butta i listini sul tavolo e ci riferisce che gli ordini li prende al banco.
Ora, premesso che Vignola è piena di bar, (fortunatamente) credo esistano modalità alternative nel dire che non si effettua servizio al tavolo.. perdi più a bar vuoto e senza nessun cartello che indichi ciò.
Comunque nessun problema… siamo andate a consumare dove venivamo trattate con più rispetto.
Al titolare raccomando una maggior attenzione nella selezione del personale

14/05/2025: Unfortunately I have to give one star, because ZERO is not possible!!
They gave me a room with no windows, just a high skylight, with curtains to darken, without the possibility of opening them! Like a cell!
The cleaning in the rooms is non-existent, the furniture is old and in poor condition, the bathroom smells of old and mold.
The food in the restaurant is terrible, and the service is even worse! Rude staff!
I asked for milk for breakfast to add to the coffee, I was told:
"you can put it on yourself!"
I couldn't wait to get out and escape from this hell, I don't know how a structure like this can be open!
Never set foot in there, I recommend it!

An unforgivable flaw is no type of separate waste collection and even if you want there are common bins for everything, no instructions about it. Everywhere but especially in the mountains in 2025 we need to make an extra effort, educate and demand education from the consumer! At the cost of dedicating a role in waste management! Now a great ninara!
25/01/2025: Pitiful food I found a hair and it was served cold. Horrible service, I thought I saw the empty toilet paper container and so I went to report it, the waitress pointed out to me that it was there, replying with "wake up, are you stupid?" I don't recommend this to anyone stay away if you want to be treated this way

22/06/2025: I went in to buy some bottles of water and asked where the toilet was for my daughter. I was told that it was not possible because, "being a historic bar", it does not have this service. It is a short step from disbelief to indignation. It is not clear how a commercial activity is not obliged to provide this service. After leaving there we reported it to the municipal police. I hope that the historic place can enter into contemporary history. Because, I believe, even historians went to the bathroom.
PS. After leaving there we went into the bar opposite. Very kind staff, my daughter went to the bathroom and, when I asked how much I had to pay, since I had not bought anything, I was told that I did not owe anything. However, it was a modern bar.
08/06/2025: At first they seemed nice with good service and staff, but they gave me a 5 euro note broken in two stuck with scotch tape, I didn't check because there was a receipt on it so I put it in my pocket and left. When I noticed and went back to them the old lady started complaining as if it was my problem.
