31/05/2026: I'm writing this review to challenge what Mr. Cubitosi, who I'm sure was sitting at the table next to mine last night (there were only two occupied tables), wrote. Mr. Cubitosi wrote a terrible review, lacking ANY detail. Who benefits from such a review, beyond boosting his ego? Certainly not the restaurateurs who don't know what they did wrong, nor the customers who don't know what to avoid. Anyway, here's my (slightly more detailed) contribution. A very quiet and charming place, with tables outside (covered) and inside. Fixed menu. Appetizer: crostini with a slice of beef (tongue, I think) and truffle; for those who wanted it, there was a version without truffle. I'm picky about "minor" cuts of meat (mea culpa) and didn't appreciate it very much, but my five guests—a German couple accustomed to eating well and their three children—enjoyed it very much. First courses: green tortelli filled with ricotta and spinach, served with a butter and sage sauce. A classic, very well prepared; the sage had a lovely aroma. Personally, I prefer them with more spinach and less ricotta in the filling, depending on the taste. Another first course: crepes filled with zucchini and sausage; very good. Three second courses: a generous helping of roe deer fillet: delicious (perfectly cooked); beef fillet with button mushrooms, very good, though a bit on the spicy side for me; fried beef cutlet, also very good. Fresh salad on the side. Dessert: tart with sour cherries, excellent. The portion wasn't huge, but we could have asked for seconds. Second dessert, for adults only: hard cheeses in alcohol. Excellent, they took me back many years; I used to eat them as a kid. Finally, coffee and various liqueurs. Finally, there were two cats (not bothersome), which piqued the curiosity of everyone present, especially the children.

24/05/2026: This is an excellent pastry shop with good pastries and croissants. I don't know why it's been closed for a while. It says maintenance work, but I have my doubts.

You can immediately taste the artisanal care in every product, from the croissants to the cakes; everything has a genuine flavor and is never too heavy. Another super positive is the staff: always kind, smiling, and available to offer recommendations based on your tastes. The place is clean, welcoming, and meticulously crafted, perfect for both a quick breakfast and special occasion desserts. I also really appreciated the variety of choices, with classic pastries, modern single-serving treats, and truly original seasonal options. Excellent value for money considering the quality of the products offered. You can see the passion for their work. Definitely the best pastry shop in Modena and the surrounding area.

25/02/2026: Friendly and very helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, efficient and good quality restaurant, normal breakfast, could be improved overall, excellent value for money.

30/06/2026: Bar and restaurant in Vignola. The food is of good quality, and the service staff is friendly and helpful, though the bar staff is less so. Prices are high for the quality of the food they serve. Furthermore, there's no parking; you have to park in the side streets before or after, in front of the houses where parking is available to homeowners. I think there are better options around.

05/06/2026: We had a wonderful holiday lunch, and highly recommend the first courses! The restaurant has a lovely dining room, and the staff is very friendly.

27/07/2026: Terrible experience, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The property appears neglected in several respects: Bathroom and hygiene: insufficient cleanliness, limescale everywhere, and visibly rusted faucets. Room and facilities: outdated and poor-quality electrical system, potential safety risk. Sleep quality: unusable mattress with worn springs that hurt my back. Breakfast: embarrassing quality, based on very low-end discounter products. At these prices and in these conditions, it's impossible to give a positive review. Absolutely not recommended!!!

22/07/2026: The place looks nice, I just stopped in for a sandwich... The sandwiches are displayed in the window, I grab one and it's already in a takeaway bag. I open it and there's a mini sandwich? 3.50 for two bites? I understand the price increases, etc., but this is way too much.
