08/09/2025: On Saturday evening, with a friend, I only had a pizza. Once inside, no one greeted us at the entrance. We saw a room above, dimly lit and closed, and another lower down in the same condition. Trying to figure out who to ask for the reserved table, we crossed a sort of passageway on the right, which from above overlooked the kitchen, where the staff at work watched us without saying a word. Then, with gestures (nods only with their heads!!!), they let us know we were going the right way. We went down three or four steps, and found ourselves in front of the entrance to a dimly lit "veranda," with some transparent panels half-open and opaque, probably from wear. Finally, a waiter greeted us, and I asked him his name, and he showed us to a seat. The place was half-empty; the free tables were not set, making it seem even more desolate. The columns of the building have empty circular shelves at the top, probably once adorned with plants, and now empty, they were even sad. The pizza finally arrives, and the waiter immediately runs away, so we try calling him back for some spicy oil. The pizza wasn't bad at all, but not great either: the dough was soggy, sparsely topped, and once it cooled, he wouldn't eat it anymore. Too bad, the place has ample parking and the enclosed rooms were really very nice, so there was greater potential. But, given the low turnout last Saturday night, they decided to seat customers in that sort of run-down and sad, poorly maintained veranda. It seems like a "tired" place... hahahaha, tired of welcoming customers. Our intention was to try a pizza, then come back for other items on the menu, but but for my part, they can be sure that I will definitely not be returning. Good luck everyone.

25/08/2025: We had the pleasure of dining with some friends on Thursday. Kudos to the pizza chef! Awesome pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven... spectacular! Highly recommended.

02/08/2025: Sono stato in questa osteria con la mia famiglia in 5 persone e purtroppo abbiamo avuto un’esperienza decisamente negativa. Appena seduti al tavolo notiamo che delle posate erano sporche e, quando ci sono stati portati i piatti, anche due di questi erano sporchi, tant’è che ce li siamo fatti cambiare. Ordiniamo, 5 primi, 4 porzioni di gnocco e tigelle, 4 birre ichnusa e 2 bottiglie d’acqua. I primi, di cui pasta al ragù, gramigna con salsiccia e tortelloni burro e salvia, senza infamia e senza lode, niente di che insomma. Arrivano gnocco e tigelle, per 4 porzioni ci sono arrivati un totale di 10 gnocchi e 10 tigelle, due vassoi di affettato mediocre e scarso nella quantità, un porzioncina di pinzimonio e 2 piccole ciotoline di umido, nutella e una ciotolina di lardo di dubbia qualità visto il colore peculiare. Arriviamo al dolce, prendiamo 3 semifreddi al croccante, un mascarpone e una porzione di gelato. Se per quanto riguarda il gelato e il semifreddo il gusto era buono, questo non si può dire del mascarpone, che aveva una consistenza molto liquida e sapeva di cipolla, sintomi di una montatura sbagliata e conservazione a dir poco pessima (inutile dire che non è stato mangiato per evitare spiacevoli inconvenienti). Abbiamo chiamato il cameriere ed a seguito di lamentela ci siamo fatti cancellare dalla comanda questo dolce. NOTE SUL SERVIZIO: Ad inizio cena, mia moglie ha dovuto chiedere per ben 3 volte un piattino per la bimba piccola, che non è stato portato finché non si è alzata lei stessa ed è andata a chiederlo per una quarta volta ai camerieri, un ragazzo e due ragazze, tutti sui 20 anni. Quando ci sono state portate le birre, queste erano stappate e tenute per il collo della bottiglia, per poi essere consegnate prendendole da sopra, così da toccarle per bene nella parte dove passa il liquido prima di andare nel bicchiere, tutto molto igienico insomma. PASSIAMO AL CONTO Andiamo a pagare, ci troviamo davanti ad un conto di 190€, in cui alla fine ci è stato fatto pagare anche il mascarpone avariato (ce ne siamo accorti solo una volta rincasati) Al netto del costo delle altre ordinazioni, quello che ci ha lasciato basiti sono stati i 20€ a testa per il gnocco e tigelle. Facendo due conti veloci, con 20 euro ogni persona aveva a disposizione 2 tigelle piccole, 2 gnocchi fritti piccoli e companatico di scarsa qualità. Qui siamo ampiamente oltre il caro per un luogo con servizio al tavolo e pulizia oltremodo discutibile e qualità del cibo mediocre. Come direbbe mio suocero: “la prossima volta il conto presentamelo con il passamontagna indosso”

11/10/2025: I got eggs and bacon, I think it was 1 egg no more and 3 slices of bacon I paid 12 euros, I'm not sure anymore but 1 egg and 3 slices of bacon, too bad, I also posted a picture of how much I paid after you said I paid 10 euros you can see how much I paid, thanks but I won't go to your place again

01/08/2025: Simple and informal place, very good pizza at a fair price. Perfect for quick lunches.

03/07/2025: I took a half meter pizza, half old Modena flavor and the other sausage, eggplant and buffalo mozzarella; tasteless pizza, low and without soul and heart. Disappointed because the reviews said that the half meter was very good, evidently this pizzeria pleases those who love low and tasteless pizza. Certainly not among the best in eastern Modena.

12/10/2025: Sunday. They seated us in the far corner, near the dusty door; it was a bit stuffy inside. The paper napkins covering our ice bucket for wine were torn. There was very little food, and we had to ask for sashimi (it's not on the buffet). The food was very empty, and the grill was almost completely burned (two plates). The mussels were neither fresh nor tasty. First time, last time.

30/09/2025: We had dinner here for the first time. The staff was very friendly. There was a wide selection of food, perfect for all tastes, including local dishes. Everything was very good. I was very happy with the experience.

15/08/2025: I gave a gift certificate (for two dinners) to this restaurant, which I'd visited several times and always found to be excellent. The owner, Rossella (Rosa Lafronza), also always seemed very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, three months after the gift, the restaurant closed permanently, and upon my request, Rossella very hastily informed me that she couldn't refund the certificate in any way, given the closure; not even privately. Clearly, some doubts arise, given the proximity of the voucher and the closure. It would have been more appropriate not to provide the vouchers, in my opinion, or to advise people to use them as soon as possible. Instead, the money (€80) was taken, without giving them the opportunity to use it and without even offering a private refund. It's a shame, the experience ruins a fond memory of a special restaurant and a seemingly honest person.

24/03/2025: Credo che questo locale sia sottovalutato forse a causa dei prezzi troppo alti un pasticciotto 5 € è follia o un semplice caffe leccese a 3 €. I piatti sono ben preparati con ottimi ingredienti. Ma la vera "perla" sono le combinazioni che finalmente non sono BANALI. Ho trovato locali dove la parola Salento veniva associato a polpo e buratta dove le combinazioni erano le più disperate solo per attirare l'occhio sul menù. Qui tutto questo non accade è già solo questo è un punto in più. Rivedrei il menù perché a mio avviso è un po' povero di piatti e rivedrei un po' i prezzi. Ma per il resto io ci tornerei.

15/07/2025: Very good food, extremely friendly service, and accommodating, even though our dog was a bit noisy. A very nice place, and if we have the opportunity again in the future, we'll gladly return because they were truly kind.

27/07/2025: Locale facilmente raggiungibile- Parcheggio facile. Ambiente molto luminoso, pulito. Tavoli correttamente apparecchiati con tovaglie di stoffa. Servizio molto cortese, efficiente. Porzioni molto abbondanti. Antipasto di gnocchini fritti (squisiti) gentilmente offerto. Ho mangiato gramigna gialle e verde con sugo di salsiccia e la ratatouie di verdure la forno. Un quarto di lambrusco, caffè e limoncello della casa gentilmente offerto. Si spendono 25 € a testa. Tornerò certamente presto.

25/07/2025: Si mangia veramente bene L unico inconveniente a mezzogiorno se hanno un menu fisso non ti spiegano vanno in velocital' e te ne accorgi dopo La ragazza che ci ha fatto sedere non ha pulito il tavolo mettendoci le tovagliette di carta sopra ....ma le briciole si vedevano..

23/09/2025: I've been to this sushi place several times on the recommendation of friends and have always been very satisfied. They have a vast menu that also includes non-sushi or fish options (perfect for mixed-use tables or children) and various Chinese/Japanese-style meat specialties. Everything is good, light sushi and very fresh fish in my opinion. The salmon nigiri and fried chicken are my favorite dishes here. The service is fairly fast; if you arrive early you can eat more slowly given the less crowded atmosphere. The place is well-kept and very unique. The price is a little higher than other sushi places (but we're talking just a few euros), but you're happy to spend it for good sushi. (Always in the context of all-you-can-eat sushi)

19/10/2025: Personally, it's a bit pricey for the food/service ratio. Desserts are recommended. The €3 cover charge for lunch was a bit of a shock.

27/09/2025: We went to the osteria on a Wednesday evening. The service was really slow and the portions were small. We waited an hour and a half for our main course. Despite this, the atmosphere was lovely, and the outdoor space, decorated with soft lighting, was pleasant in the summer.

31/08/2025: Nothing to say about the food and pizza. The problem is if you complain about the wait or if they serve their friends or acquaintances first and point it out... then it's not good... the young waitress doesn't serve you and sends her mother or aunt! For me, that's disrespectful.

16/08/2025: This pizzeria and restaurant is a must-visit if you're in Pavullo, especially in the summer. It offers outdoor seating and ample space outside, a small dining room, or, if you prefer, a spacious interior. Paolo, the pizza chef, is truly skilled, and his pizza is among the best in the mountains, but if you love seafood, you've come to the right place. The menu features both seafood and meat, making it ideal for everyone, including children. The value for money is absolutely excellent. It's in my top three restaurants.

08/10/2025: A truly beautiful restaurant with authentic Italian feel. The food was first class with waiting staff who spoke beautiful English was helpful and courteous. Will definitely return when in Modena next .

07/10/2025: In the heart of Modena, just steps from the imposing Ghirlandina Tower, the city's undisputed symbol, lies the small trattoria Il Fantino, nestled in one of the city's semi-hidden alleys. The location boasts retro furnishings, tables, and old-fashioned chairs, typical of 1940s taverns, but inexplicably irrelevant and poorly coordinated. Walls are entirely covered with prints depicting still lifes, vehicles, or abstract elements, which have little or nothing to do with the typical concept of historic trattorias. This doesn't affect the atmosphere, which nevertheless remains warm and pleasant. The cuisine follows Emilian tradition—and more—and does not disappoint: the fried gnocchi accompanied by delicious prosciutto are excellent; the tortelloni with ricotta, butter, and sage are delicious; the pumpkin, butter, and sage ravioli are a cut above the rest; and dessert: miniature walnut and chocolate pastries (decent) round out the tour. The portions are adequate. The wine cellar is small and primarily focused on local wines. Two or three labels in total are dedicated to other regions. Service: Informal, but slow and not always attentive to customers. Bill: Fair. (€30.00 per person, excluding drinks) Price/Percentage in line and reasonable. Some elements lower the bar slightly (especially the ambiance, service, and wine cellar; despite the strict criteria, the site has been recommended by Gambero Rosso) but they do not detract from a rating that is largely positive. A rustic, informal, and touristy place, but recommended for the quality of the food and fair prices. 4.0
