01/09/2025: A small but quiet place, serving typical local dishes. The tagliatelle with mushrooms and ragù were very good, but the polenta with wild boar ragù was a bit disappointing. Overall, we ate well.

06/09/2025: The food is good, but a bit pricey for this type of restaurant. I went for lunch on a workday, but since they don't have a workday menu, I expected the pasta I ordered to arrive within 15 minutes. However, I was already served within 5 minutes. I was clearly pleased with the speed, but the pasta was clearly precooked, given the quick service.

05/09/2025: A typical restaurant surrounded by beautiful scenery. The manager is also very kind and understands us even though our Italian is limited. The welcome is warm. The value for money is incredible given the exceptional quality of what we ate. It is possible to have an aperitif with a breathtaking view of the Pompeano Castle. I would recommend everyone to stop there for a good traditional meal.

01/09/2025: A very informal place offering simple, authentic dishes at a reasonable price. We had wild boar pappardelle and roast venison. Both were very good.

30/09/2025: Very beautiful, well-kept place with soft lighting. The staff is friendly and kind. The food is truly excellent, both the raw and cooked specialties. I recommend it.

24/08/2025: Trattoria Bolognina is a place that has won our hearts. It's simple and spartan, yet authentic for that very reason: it's reminiscent of old houses of the past, with a family atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter, it's been our second home for over seven years. In that time, we've shared many occasions here: dinners as a couple, lunches with friends and family, special holidays... and everything has always been perfect. The welcome, courtesy, and kindness of Cristina and the waiters make every visit a pleasure. Even our dog loves this place: he can't wait to meet Romeo, the owner's adorable dog. A genuine place, where you can feel the warmth of humanity as well as the aroma of good food. Highly recommended for those looking for more than just a meal, but a convivial and familiar experience.

10/03/2025: Number 1! A regular customer since it opened, every week or ten days is a must! I get the pizzas to eat at home, always hot and tasty, and the price is unbeatable!

12/10/2025: It was a surprise for me. The dishes were really good with interesting combinations (I especially liked the ones with truffle) and a nice selection of seasonal dishes (such as pumpkin). Interesting. Prices are a bit high.

18/09/2025: One of my favourite places to dine out in Modena. The seafood is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Concetta and her staff never fail to make you feel at home. Especially recommended are the desserts made in house!

21/09/2025: A good experience, but with a few downsides. It was my first time at this restaurant, which I'd been eyeing for a while, and I have to say I was immediately satisfied. The chef was very warm and welcoming. The dishes were delicate and refined. It was a real shame about the service, which left a bad taste in my mouth. These are really important things, especially when there are only two tables in the dining room.

17/09/2025: Excellent restaurant, very fresh ingredients! Everything is truly delicious and delicious. I've been here several times, and I'll definitely be back again. The squid ink with mandarin is an excellent dish, but it's also worth experimenting and trying the chef's suggestions. Finally, the cannoli are highly recommended. It's the best I've ever had, and I've been to Sicily a lot. :)

21/08/2025: Please note that my review concerns only the restaurant, not the hotel. The restaurant is AIC (Italian Celiac Association) certified and therefore offers a completely gluten-free menu. This is our second time here, and we were once again delighted, especially with the hospitality and especially the food. As a welcome, they bring you a seasonal appetizer, and to finish your meal, they offer their homemade blueberry liqueur as a digestif. That said, I highly recommend it. It's just outside Sestola and enjoys an incredibly peaceful setting.

29/06/2025: Excellent dinner with friends. Fast and friendly service, rustic location in the open countryside very well kept and truly excellent food, homemade pasta like once upon a time, second courses of meat of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. I will definitely return.

08/09/2025: Welcoming place, breakfast service, I would say very professional. The girls know how to do their job very well, polite, fast and very clean. The lady at the coffee machine is very good, I think she is the owner, or a very good collaborator, along with the girl who is at the cash register and the lady who serves at the window. Miss, congratulations, excellent staff.

25/08/2025: Nice and well-served place with indoor and outdoor tables, I've never had lunch but only had very good breakfasts, excellent coffees and cappuccinos with their very good pastries and very well stocked.
