17/08/2024: Consultando le foto di Google, decidiamo di provare questa piccola trattoria, spinti dalla presentazione dei piatti. Appena arrivati ci caliamo subito in un'atmosfera famigliare, data dai gestori molto gentili e cordiali e dagli altri clienti, tutti molto alla buona. Non c'è un menù scritto (che a nostro modesto parere è un sinonimo di freschezza). Si mangia quello che è stato preparato per quel giorno, seguendo le stagionalità. E l'offerta non è affatto limitata, ma anzi, ricca e diversificata. È la titolare stessa, che venendo al tavolo espone i piatti del giorno. Abbiamo optato per delle tagliatelle al ragù e dei tortelli ripieni di patate con sugo di porcini, entrambi ottimi. A seguire, salsiccia con contorno di friggione e stufato di pecora e patate. Con un'insalata, acqua e vino, abbiamo speso complessivamente 45€. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Vera trattoria che sa ancora valorizzare i sapori di una volta. Bravi!

23/12/2024: Good! A little small place but with several tables outside, friendly and helpful staff. In the evening it is possible to have a happy hour from 5pm. Maybe a second person at the counter would be needed.

23/12/2024: In the historic center, you have the opportunity to taste Abruzzo cuisine in a friendly and spacious trattoria. The environment is very quiet and is spread over two rooms furnished with rustic and typical Emilian elements. The place is not particularly distinctive, but certainly traditional like the many in the area. Here, it is said, Carducci came to drink Lambrusco and eat cotechino. The menu includes various appetizers, three first courses, meat, side dish and dessert. Abruzzo and Emilian wines starting from €10 per bottle, not bad. We started with Ascoli olives and fried cheese: good, but nothing exceptional. The cuisine has redeemed itself with the famous kebabs (around €1-1.50/piece) which are served in jugs and come in three types: classic, handmade (nice fat ones) and with liver and onion (never tasted it before, I they were pleasantly impressed). Too bad the service was annoying and not at all welcoming. The waiting times were fair, but besides us there were only two more tables.

15/12/2024: We came across this place in the center of Modena for a dinner with friends. Quiet and welcoming place. Real quality food, I recommend handmade kebabs and Teramo-style guitars. The only sore point: the service. A little too slow but fine for a Saturday evening, what disappointed us the most was the irritated attitude of the waitress, also removing things from the table in advance and rushing in choosing the orders. In my opinion unprofessional. Despite this I think we will return hoping it was just a bad day.

21/01/2025: I recently went with colleagues for lunch, the quality of the food was good, unfortunately both during and especially following this I noticed a strong smell of food on the clothes, probably a sign that the extraction from the kitchen needs to be improved. For this reason I advise against stopping to eat unless the problem is resolved.

06/01/2025: I've updated my review to give a more accurate description, so customers know what they're getting into. My vote goes to the lack of efficiency in the service. We were a group of 12 people, we arrived at 12.30/45 and while waiting for everyone to arrive we drank a glass of prosecco in the atrium of the restaurant (the so-called aperitif). At 1pm we were seated and at 1.18pm we ordered. The order was for 3 starters, 12 first courses and 4 second courses with side dishes (nothing so impossible to serve in normal times)... of these dishes only 3 dishes were gluten free and the remaining all as per the menu. Among the various courses, 6 orders were based on grilled eel, which as per the restaurant's request, I had anticipated the desired quantity by telephone the days before given that cooking takes a long time and who wants the eel must know in advance . After ordering we waited an infinite time (1h) to have 3 appetizers Another 30/40 minutes passed from the 3 starters to the first courses; the 3 seconds didn't arrive until 3.30pm. Those who had ordered the eel among the first courses had also requested baked potatoes as a side dish, which unfortunately only arrived with the second courses, so by now they had already finished eating the eel. Once all the dishes were finished we asked for dessert and coffee, which we only managed to finish by 4.30pm, not so much because of the chatter, but from the order to the arrival of the coffee, they went several minutes. When we complained both at the table and at the cash desk about the very long waiting times for lunch (more than 3 hours, considering from when we sat down to when we got up) we were told that unfortunately there had been a a bit of confusion (the room wasn't too crowded and what's more, if you have such a capacity, you have to be prepared to serve the entire room). Given their lack of service and a bill of €534, we would have expected a small recognition from them to avoid the endless waiting, as usually happens in other restaurants (e.g. offering a bitter, not necessarily a discount), but unfortunately we did not receive it. The food is good, but we were really disappointed with this experience. Even greater was the disappointment in seeing a truly rude response from the owners, in which he highlighted that the problem of such long waiting times did not exist, because they were just moments of waiting in which to chat with friends , seeing their cozy restaurant and also it's our fault because we ordered too many different things and 3 gluten-free dishes. I probably won't return.
