I am always struck by the kindness and care of the owners, they are truly wonderful people. (Ps. There are also gluten free options - packaged but really good!)

13/09/2025: The two of us went for lunch. The place is very beautiful and welcoming. The appetizers and first courses were delicious; you could see and taste they were homemade. Compliments to the brilliant waiter, always friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

10/09/2025: If you leave a restaurant feeling full and satisfied, it means you don't need to go to a Michelin-starred restaurant. Here, you spend little but eat a lot and well, from the entree to the coffee in a rustic, antique setting, all topped off by the friendly staff. I'll definitely be back. 10/09/2025 - And we're back, of course. Five stars aren't enough, so I stand by my review and would like to improve it. Today, macaroni with wild boar sauce (super good), vegetable tart with creamy gorgonzola and crispy onion (ditto), and a classic tiramisu to finish.

17/11/2025: We chose this pizzeria by chance, and ordered takeout. From the first bite, I knew the dough wasn't to my liking—it probably wasn't fresh. The zucchini was completely raw and not grilled, and it tasted like nothing. In short, I couldn't even finish it. The worst part was the heartburn; I couldn't sleep all night. The next morning, my son told me the same thing, because he also had heartburn. I don't recommend it.

15/11/2025: A nightmare experience. The place was small, dimly lit, and had a truly unwelcoming atmosphere. The bread wasn't fresh, and the grilled vegetables arrived practically raw. The steak, ordered rare, was instead rubbery, overcooked, tasteless, and looked artificial, almost like a frozen product. My girlfriend ordered a fish fillet, but that also tasted frozen: a real disappointment. The service didn't improve the situation: the waitress set down the plates abruptly and noisily, making the experience even more unpleasant. A place that seems designed only for passing tourists, certainly not for those seeking quality and authentic Italian cuisine.

04/10/2025: A pleasant surprise away from the weekend motorcycle frenzy of Raticosa and the surrounding area. The crostini with lard and porcini mushrooms were excellent. We limited ourselves to the first course and dessert after the crostini, and I must say that, at our request, they accommodated us with a trio each, allowing us to sample excellent tagliatelle, special passatelli, and delicious ravioli. Everything was homemade and all made with porcini mushrooms. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. 👌

26/11/2025: The food arrived slowly... they forgot the beer and water, and when they brought us desserts and coffee, they rightly forgot to tell us that there were still five dishes missing.

07/11/2025: Nothing, I can travel all over Bologna and the surrounding province... but I'll never eat anywhere else like I do at Elisa and Davide's. The reservation system for the menu is convenient, also to eliminate allergens and intolerances. Trying is believing!

12/07/2025: I stopped by to get some takeout pizza and didn't think I'd need to pay to feel sick. The pizza was more like a focaccia, smothered in oil and topped with a reprehensible and aberrant tomato sauce—you either don't put it on or you put it on! Not to mention the sausage on top, cold and, most importantly, raw. An insult to the word pizza.

12/07/2025: A place where you can feel right at home, but with impeccable service. Good food and a lovely atmosphere; we always come back.

17/10/2025: They are welcoming and polite. They prepared my take out even though I just walked-in and asked for it. They catered to all my requests and also switched to speaking in English. Not only was the food delicious, it felt like an embrace because of their hospitality and graciousness. Recommended!

06/10/2025: The paella was delicious, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, they messed up the orders, and our takeout paella was delivered almost half an hour late. Also, the prices have gone up since our last visit; we ordered six fish-only portions and six mixed portions, for a total of €160. Way too much for a takeout.

04/12/2025: I ordered takeout and had to cook the burger at home since it would have been risky to eat an undercooked one during pregnancy (it was quite pink). I took a bite and realized it later; it wasn't nice. I should point out that I'd never had an undercooked burger with them before, so I didn't think it was necessary to inform them of my pregnancy. In any case, everyone knows by now that burgers should always be well done.

24/11/2025: A very well-kept venue, with a welcoming atmosphere, excellent burgers, and a wide selection of wines, beers, and cocktails. Breakfast remains one of their highlights.

30/09/2025: DISASTROUS experience!!! I had ordered my birthday cake two weeks in advance: I called and spoke with the husband first, who had his wife call me back since she's the cake maker. We agreed on the cake and, of course, the date. On the evening of my birthday, I went to pick up the cake: I saw some strange movements... I waited, and the wife came down and said she hadn't made any cake and had no memory of this call. Mind you, the husband confirmed my call, and she continued to deny it. But the thing that bothered me the most (because mistakes can always happen) was that at this point, instead of offering a solution (the restaurant was 50 meters from the ice cream shop), she said she couldn't do anything. Could she just bring the ice cream and offer it?!? I asked her if she had anything else or could she make me something right away... nothing! And, the cherry on top, she didn't even apologize!!! I'm speechless! Imagine if his face had been for a child... Too bad, but not everyone is professional!

08/11/2025: You can't charge me in this context, a bottle of Lambrusco €18.00. Extremely expensive for a bar-restaurant, I'd be willing to justify it if I'd eaten until I burst, but I didn't, tiny portions.
