A truly excellent trattoria serving typical Ravenna cuisine. Having seen it on TV at 4 Restaurants, I was amazed by how the food and service were exactly as advertised. The cappelletti with ragù and the desserts were excellent. Super helpful staff and adequate portions. Good prices. Easily accessible.

If you're expecting a classic Romagna trattoria with an exuberant host and rustic, hearty dishes, you'll be disappointed. At Trattoria al Cerchio, we found the service to be very professional, so basic it seemed aloof. As for the food, we tried the cappelletti with ragù, which didn't arouse any particular enthusiasm, while the tagliolini with radicchio and speck, with their disjointed sauce, were bland. The portions, as mentioned, aren't particularly generous. The price is fair.

From Sardinia, cycling, and after visiting Verona, Valeggio, Mantua, Ferrara, and Comacchio, we decided to celebrate my birthday at this trattoria. I must say it was an excellent choice. The waitress was super good and very kind, even recommending the right wine to pair with my dishes. But the best part is the kitchen: the lady who has been preparing and conducting the orchestra for years. Superb homemade dishes. I recommend erecting a monument to my mother at the entrance. The chocolate salami is excellent. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of lunch at Trattoria Il Cerchio in Ravenna, made even more famous by its victory at Quattro Ristoranti... and I must say, it absolutely lived up to expectations!
The real stars? The cappelletti: simply extraordinary. Handmade pasta, rich and flavorful filling that truly exudes Romagna tradition.

The food was good, but not excellent; there's better in Romagna. I didn't like the place; it seemed neglected rather than historic. The service wasn't very attentive, but it wasn't bad either. Everything was average.

I had lunch yesterday with my aunt Carla. We arrived late (around 2:00 PM). Despite the late hour, they hosted us wonderfully.
A glass of Sangiovese Superiore, very superior, perfect fillet, both cooked and cooked to perfection, excellent lemon scallops, and very delicate baked potatoes.
A truly honest dish. We'll be back because it's worth it.

Many locals I trust had recommended this restaurant to me, so I decided to go. The staff is friendly, the lady extremely sweet, and the place is lovely. I really love the vintage, traditional atmosphere.
The wine list is comprehensive and varied. I found the appetizers a bit overpriced, though they were good, and there were many small inaccuracies in the service. These weren't serious errors that ruined the evening, but rather the ones that wouldn't get a 5-star review, but only 4. I enjoyed the cappelletti in brodo; they were plentiful (one dish was enough to fill me up), and a point for the playlist.
